I click on the sign button and get the following  "this transaction refers to one of your wallets, but that wallet is a watching-only wallet.  Therefore, private keys are not available to sigh the transaction."
The error you are getting is telling you that "the offline computer I have Armory .96.4 loaded on" that you are attempting to use to sign the transaction is also only using a watch-only wallet.

As Carlton Banks has said, you need the "full" wallet that contains the appropriate private keys to be able to sign the transaction.

On the offline computer I have Armory .96.4 loaded on a jump drive and start that version.
If this "jump drive" does NOT have the full version of the wallet containing the private keys, then you will NOT be able to sign the transaction to recover the coins.

I wanted to follow up on the problem that I am having with Armory.96.4.  I am using bitcoin qt core version .17.0
I have three different wallets in armory.  Two are encrypted and on is watching only wallet.  The watching only wallet has several bitcoins in it.  When I try an offline transaction it selects the correct wallet with bitcoins in it.  I am able to put the address of another encrypted wallet and go through the transaction and load it to a jump drive to take to off line computer to sign.  On the offline computer I have Armory .96.4 loaded on a jump drive and start that version.  I then tell the offline version of Armory I want to do an offline transaction.  I copy the unsigned transaction for the other jump drive and load it to be signed.  I click on the sign button and get the following  "this transaction refers to one of your wallets, but that wallet is a watching-only wallet.  Therefore, private keys are not available to sigh the transaction."
I also have another version for the offline computer and that version is .91-beta and running in the expert mode.  If i try that same transaction I get the following error"unrecognized" in red print in the right side of the screen.  Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Watching only wallets have the private keys removed. Search on storage devices for .wallet files. The correct files should have the same random character string as the watching only wallets from the online computer.

Hello everyone. I am new to Armory.  I am trying to help a friend with her bitcoins.  Her husband passed away and left very little information on the process.  I have armory .96.4 installed and bitcoin core .19.  When trying to make an off line transaction I get the following error.  I have it set up as cold storage so the file has to be signed off line.  So I click on the off line transaction or send bitcoins and it advances to where iI can make a file on a jump drive.  So I copy it on the jump drive and take it to a off line computer to sign.  Once I click on sign the error is this transaction refers to one of your wallets but that wallet is watching only wallet.  Therefore private keys are not available to sign the transaction.  The watching only wallet does not have the properties that I can look at.  Help is needed
