I see your point with the maintenance and growth shares.
What I think I am going to do is create a new account specifically to deal with BAKEWELL M&G holdings, send the shares there, and forget about them
Unfortunately they still end up counting toward that 50% total needed then
so I dunno ...maybe transfer back to treasury, place my vote, then transfer them back to portfolio like you say, hmm...
I am also not entirely convinced those shares should not be able to vote.
Anyhow I decided to try and be the absolute last person to vote any time I put up a motion, so the results seen are reflected of the public and not tilted by me until the end.
