Sorry for doing the zombie thing but still better than starting a new thread, eh?

I was looking for a good VOIP provider for some weeks now but so far it was quite the hassle: complicated tariffs and not even cheap, weird descriptions (as in how to use) and the need to sign up with all private information including shoe size Wink *sigh*

Then I thought of beloved bitcoin and voila: I found Swilliam Tell

https://www.swilliamtell.ch/

And their tariffs really sound too good to be true:

Canada [FIX]    € 0.01   sFr 0.01
...
Finland [FIX]    € 0.03   sFr 0.04
Finland [MOB]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
France [FIX]    € 0.01   sFr 0.01
France [MOB]    € 0.03   sFr 0.04
...
Germany [FIX]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
Germany [MOB]    € 0.03   sFr 0.04
...
Ireland [FIX]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
Ireland [MOB]    € 0.04   sFr 0.05
...
Italy [FIX]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
Italy [MOB]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
...
Ukraine [FIX]    € 0.08   sFr 0.10
Ukraine [MOB]    € 0.17   sFr 0.20
United Kingdom [FIX]    € 0.01   sFr 0.01
United Kingdom [MOB]    € 0.02   sFr 0.02
...
United States [FIX]    € 0.01   sFr 0.01
United States [SPC]    € 0.01   sFr 0.01

Only copied a few but the rest of the rather extensive list looks no worse.

But, yes, 30€ for starters is a big turn off. Well, no more:

Due to feedback on thebitcoinreview.com we have decided to lower the bitcoin payments to €10.

Good enough for me to give it a shot some time soon. Anyway, if you know of any other VOIP provider accepting BTC as well, let us know here!

Nice one, thanks. 30 euro was a bit much to find out, sounds well worth it though. Will give them a go when I get everything working right with SIP calls.

Did you have any luck with this service?

Anyone tried this service:

Sorry for resurrecting a zombie Smiley
EDIT: Thanks for moving it to a new thread.

I did and no problems so far. They provide an app for Android, iPhone and so, but any standard SIP terminal should work. Anyway, in my opinion, best way to use is by having free local calls and calling a local number they also provide. In such a way the latency is imperceptible.
