i get $2 weekly pocket money, i am just learning about bitcoin. ..

Obviously you should have spent that money on lunch. I think that the main problem you face when investing in bitcoin is the high network fees. How do you solve this problem, because most of your money is spent on commission when buying and transferring to a wallet?

Is funny when you refers to $60 as stable substantial financial portfolio but let me assume you know what you're doing at 17 years, I hope your education is not dropped out? Learning crypto currency is not bad but your opinion of what your want looks like money monger. You sound like you're into crypto to make money, bro crypto is wide you need background knowledge to follows suits how to create its lifestyles not just for me. To venture into investment too is good but am afraid of your motive to make money at 17, please well to face education then while learning crypto currency.

And finally am sure you're not working, where did you intends to always get money from to fund your wallet?  Crypto investment required a lot to bear, the risks, the time frame and patients, the ups and downs as you said. So just know much about crypto while growing.
I know a 15 years old coder who is almost a genius, he knows coding to the core and he is also into building apps and software, age is just a number and please do not discourage this person because he is 17 years old, also why are you on here if not to make money from crypto? I got into crypto in my 20s but that's when I knew about crypto, if I knew about crypto in my 15 I would have joined the train a very long time ago.

In today's world, you will see underage doing things that even those in their 50s can't do, avoid judging someone because of their age, knowledge doesn't know age, I remember people telling me almost the same thing when I was new in crypto, like how are you going to keep buying Bitcoin every month? What are you doing that's bringing you money? All these questions are expected only from the naysayers.

They just want to know, that's all, but mind you, we don't know OP, how he is going to keep investing will never be known to us, because that's the way it should be, it's possible for a 17 years old to invest in Bitcoin, homes can't be compared, pocket money can't be compared, family can't be compare, leave this boy be.

i am a 17 year old high school student who is really interested in finance and cryptocurrency. i first heard about bitcoin a few years ago, and i was immediately intrigued by the idea of a decentralized currency that could be used to make transactions without the need for a bank or government.

at first, i was skeptical about investing in bitcoin. after all, i was just a teenager with limited financial resources. but as i learned more about bitcoin and watched its price rise over time, i became more and more convinced that it was a good investment opportunity.

so, i decided to take the plunge and buy some bitcoin. i started with just a small amount, but over time, i continued to invest more as i became more confident in the technology and its potential for the future.

as a young investor, i've had to learn a lot about finance and investing on my own. but i've found that the bitcoin community is incredibly supportive and helpful. there are so many resources available online, from forums like bitcointalk to educational videos on youtube, that have helped me to understand the technology behind bitcoin and make informed investment decisions.

now, i'm proud to say that my investment in bitcoin. even though there have been ups and downs along the way, i've been able to build up a substantial portfolio of bitcoin over time($60). and as i continue to learn more about cryptocurrency and finance, i'm excited to see what the future holds for bitcoin and other digital assets.

so, to all the other young people out there who are interested in finance and cryptocurrency, don't be afraid to take the leap and invest in bitcoin. with a little research and a lot of patience, you could be well on your way to building a successful investment portfolio just like me.

You did not tell us how much the investment you started with and how it reached $60,000. If it was a small amount, you should be proud of yourself, especially since you were able to achieve all these profits at a young age.
But if the amount you started with is large, it is better to start learning to diversify your investment. It is true that bitcoin is a good investment, but you must learn how to diversify it into real estate, gold shares, and others, available to you while making the money that you deserve as an investment in bitcoin.

I did it when I was first 23 years old, now I am 30+ years old and I am still in it and I can tell you that I haven't worn any suits to work and drove to work for over 7 years now. I have been at home, having some great life, amazing work in the crypto world, amazing income, much better than most people, and just be happy with what I have. That is only possible if you are in the crypto world.

Not only be in the crypto investment world but also be in the crypto business world as well and make yourself better and get yourself heard, have a network and then one day you could make a lot more money. I can't say that it would be that much of a trouble, it would be easy to handle but when the time comes you will be ready for it.

I think 60$ for a 17 kid from a third-world country is a huge amount. At 17 I don't have that amount in my bank, sorry I don't have the permission to have a bank account before 18 so it is great at least he has something in bitcoin. Bitcoin is welcoming for people like OP where no one can not able to open up a bank account but the kid has his own savings in bitcoin and planning to invest more in the future. Let him take the pride Smiley

OP keep your bitcoins in a wallet where you have complete control with a private key or seed phrase.

so, to all the other young people out there who are interested in finance and cryptocurrency, don't be afraid to take the leap and invest in bitcoin. with a little research and a lot of patience, you could be well on your way to building a successful investment portfolio just like me.

I am happy that instead of being influenced by youthful exuberance to engage in immoral things, you decided to channel your finance and strength into investing in Bitcoin. At age fifteen and above most youths in my neighborhood are more interested in drugs and womanizing.

You have started we'll OP. You can start small and keep increasing your investment until you get to your benchmark. I also want to advise that you should also balance your academics with your investment. Don't spend all your time on the forum because your main purpose as a student is to study and pass the necessary examination. So you shouldn't abandon your academics because investing in Bitcoin is not a full-time job. You need to be employable so that you can raise more money to invest in Bitcoin.

I'm a medical student too, when I start don't have a huge amount of money to start so I started with a small amount
money  that I can afford to lose. And I make out time for studies as a student and as a crypto partisan. And  And the best time buy bitcoin is the time when the bear is still down so that when the price rises up to your satisfaction then you market it out and make your profit from it. That is why it is called investment. In the bitcoin holding world patient is the answer. If you are not good endurance then you are not qualified to hold bitcoin. The DCA pattern is a good strategies that people can apply, this is directly related to some people who don't have big capital to buy.

I am an engineering student too and our age is close. I don't have the money to start big so I started with small amount which I can afford to lose. I manage my time as university student and as crypto enthusiast. The only advice I can give is trust the process, the learnings and don't be greedy.

I started trading a couple months a go and it is win so far because of the current state of the market now. Starting might be hard but everyone was a beginner so do your best and I know you can do it mate. Let's develop our future as early as we can.

Most of us (young people) are obsessed of having an income but being obsessed without enough knowledge, patience and experiences it may lead us to failure.

the current reality, young people are more interested in business than investment. not all calculations will go smoothly as we plan. Investment is not easy just to hold assets in patience and a long time.
at this time I believe there are more young people who know about Bitcoin. but without a rational explanation from someone close to me, I doubt they will put their money into a long term investment. more youth oriented short profits.

The way to the top may be rough but with proper planning, one can scale through, I love that you are looking for ways to earn for yourself at this early stage in life, just hoping you will invest for the long term and don't panic at what the market might be saying but be determined in holding the coin for your future.

Here you could stay ahead of your investment by 20 weeks since you only get $2 per week. You could include your bitcoin address in your signature space, I might as well save your plans a few month further when I get my hands on some BTC. Good luck and remember to use offline wallets for cold storage.😉

Im out of merits to send you some, but I really like that other young people start to take a look into bitcoin and want to contribute to the forum. Your investment so far is not the biggest one, but if Bitcoin goes south it can get more and more valuable. Also you can post some more in the forum and join a signature campaign to be able to invest for free.

You are right to create a small treasure in Bitcoin now that you are young, keep it up and stay informed, above all always make sure to keep your secret keys safe.  Just a note trust only Bitcoin and not other cryptocurrencies.

I'm happy that you're a young person who's been watching Bitcoin for some time and thus are ready to make responsible decisions. The strategy of gradually increasing an investment by buying more BTC also makes sense to me.
Bitcoin currently seems to be on the rise, but of course a temporary setback can happen at any point.
Since you're pretty young and new, keep in mind the basic rules:
- Invest only what you can afford to lose.
- Buy low, sell high (of course, one can just wait long-term and ignore the temporary price dynamics, though).
- Not your keys, not your coins (Ensure you're storing your coins safely in a non-custodial wallet like Electrum rather than on an exchange).

That's actually true, students or even kids at early age doesn't have the funds to invest and trade unless they are supported/wealthy that their weekly allowance can be used in Bitcoin, also students can have the part time job for them to have own income to use for investment. Mostly of the kids these days are active online that they could learn Bitcoin by just searching it online, plus their learning method in pandemic was also online so it would be easily for them to handle both education and extra study to make money. Of course in a long term they can't do both at the same and they need to sacrifice one of them. Its up to their decision whether Bitcoin or Education, but let's be honest here, making money at a young age is not actually bad despite the fact that you stopped college. Why? Because education could still be done even if your rich and doesn't need to think of funds for your tuition. Same case to education once you've graduated early there's a possibility you find a well paying job then gain knowledge about Bitcoin. In short, there's no actually wrong decisions here, we're no one to judge people's decisions especially we don't know what they've been through in life.

Exactly, there's already many kids that are earning in Bitcoin, but for sure they are still guided by their parents or guardian since its still money we're talking about. In making such calls in crypto you'll need to have a emotional stability, good instinct, knowledge and experienced in money. Which I think that kids will lack when they started in crypto and blockchain technology. To be honest, the first time I've tried entering in this industry I find it "complicated" like anything has a meaning and connected to this industry. Also the source of your statement could be fake due to there's a lot of clickbaits thumbnails in youtube and makes you believed those kids really earned money, but for sure it was only for the views where maybe they really get those moneys.

I was also a student when I first know bitcoin the value was around 400$ I didn't have money to invest in it as well, I mean bitcoin is a risky investment compared to stocks and other investments it might the riskiest investment because of the volatile market price. I mean we all do a lot of stupid things when we're just getting started on bitcoin investing, accumulating 60$ of bitcoin was a good job of yours. 2$ weekly in your pocket was a good strategy I mean it's not wise to invest everything in Bitcoin so it's already a good start.

Good luck with your Bitcoin investment continue to accumulate Bitcoin and wait for the right opportunity that you think is a fair price to sell your Bitcoin. It wasn't a big amount for now but you could grow your portfolio over time. Relay on the forum member's tips I suppose because youtube influencers are not to be trusted these days.

Don't look on YouTube, there are many guys around my house who started earning Bitcoin at a young age. Maybe most of the boys and girls are 10 to 15 years old. I also have many young children come here to learn work. But I always ignored them. They learned the work through some alternative means rather than learning from me. I've noticed lately that a lot of attention has gone away from their studies. Maybe all these boys earning from here have made them greedy for money and education is getting destroyed. So here I mean it's better not to let the little boys and girls enter here because whenever they stop studying and start earning here then their education will be destroyed.
