My question is - why do you need this? If you figure it out you can certainly cope with this task but I know that a lot of projects copied a white paper but mostly they were scammers and amateurs.

Nobody is reading whitepaper, exactly nobody. Imagine, you are an investor, would you read 50 pages of promises? I don´t think so. You would rather focus on team, previous success projects, marketing, working product, advisors, community. That is a real thing, not the plans in the whitepaper. Only whitepaper what worths to read is a Bitcoin whitepaper. Nothing else.

I have a theory, if I can read cryptocurrency white papers, maybe in the long run I will be able to write a white paper, because by reading how they are initially written, their structure, technical explanations up to a point of view, and all the elements that a white paper has, I should be able to have notions to write one, what do you think?

It's not different to fiction writer, if you are good in writing fiction then you can be good at writing a white paper Cheesy, so many whitepapers are fiction created by developers who have a wild imagination, you can become good at it on Fiverr some whitepaper writers are paid hundreds of dollars.

Of course, everyone here has the capability to write a whitepaper. However, if you are not technically inclined, I doubt that you can write a good one. It will be interesting though, if you have read lots of them, so maybe you can learn a thing or two.

But make no mistakes about it, don't copy and paste whitepaper because sooner or later some investigators are going to find it out. It's better to take inspiration from them or you can even cite them in the foot note.

You don't need very technical knowledge to write a Whitepaper. Some projects just fine-tune what's on other white papers, or write what they can never achieve on it. Reason why if you only rely on what's on Whitepaper when making research about a project, then you are good as someone who didn't do any research. In essence, if you are a good writer, why not, you can write a peper. Some writers who know nothing about a particular project from onset get paid to write their whitepaper because that's their job, the team then provides information needed.

Yes, if you have an innovation or unique idea, please write and design it as best you can. Ask a professional developer, who knows they are interested and want to collaborate with you. Basically, writing techniques can be learned, providing information in detail but there are also brief techniques. the important thing is to be diligent in reading and finding the right structure and then apply it in your own style. Cultivating reading.
Writing a whitepaper really requires expertise in designing and also describing the project or product it brings, how we can convey details about the project and also how in writing we do we can make people who read become interested in what we write and then people The person will have a positive view of the project and of course it is likely that the person will be very interested in investing in the project by reading a whitepaper that is designed or written very well.

Yes all those who are working with making of whitepaper are professionals, that they need to have a level 10 skills in writing as well as they need to make proper outline for the users to read and understand fully, the roadmap, mission and vision of a project should be well written there.

In the technical sense of things, writing a whitepaper requires quite an amount of technical knowledge about the product to be described. Often times what we see in this industry as whitepapers are plain business proposals and have literally no way of holding qualitative information about a project in the essence of the objectives whitepapers represents. So for you to be truly skilled in writing a whitepaper goes beyond having read a couple (simply because of structure), but has more to do with the general standards of what the whitepaper should look like.

Case in point, compare the earliest whitepapers such as the Bitcoin or Ethereum whitepapers and most of the others which existed in the 2017/2018 period. You'd discover a world of difference in their structure.

Provided you can conceive an idea about your project you can pen it down and call it a whitepaper. Whitepapers are documents with vital information about a project. And yes by reading other cryptocurrency related whitepapers you will be able to write yours should the need arise but avoid copying other whitepapers you have read.

Writing a white paper depends on the level of your understanding om the project you are actually writing about
That's true but that's not only about to understand the project and OP must understand about the stucture of the WP, so many amateur writers of WP didn't even know about what structure that must be used to create a new whitepaper. is not only about understand the project to build a really good WP.

i have tried translating some whitepapers in the past since i applied for some projects for bounties, its actually hard to do even just translating it. and its no surprise that most of them are committing plagiarism which eventually exposed those ICO scammers.

i couldn't imagine myself writing one because its got to be the most boring job for a writer. i would rather create an erotic novel than a whitepaper.

Yea, of course. Your theory is practical.

But you will have to look for High-Quality WPs. Unfortunately, most of the ones I have seen are of low quality. They don’t put much effort into writing them.

Starting to pick clues from the initially written high-quality white papers will surely help, and with time, you will get better.

You know what they say: Perfect practice makes perfect

I believe by now, you would have started writing one, because it is quite very easy to do that. However, you need to be very careful and ensure that your whitepaper has unique and original content. It must not be a plagiarized whitepaper, because if that happens, your project or the project you have written for might be seen a s scam.

In order for you to be able to write a whitepaper you need to understand very close how the project will work. in order to have access to data that allows you to make the right document, you must be a team member. If I will be doing my own project, I would not hire a person who will be not a part of my team, for writing a whitepaper

White paper is of course good and good if it is well written but I think that the main result, and as a result, as practice has shown is very bad for us, so it doesn’t matter whether it is copied or not, the main thing is what will be the result.

What I hate most in whitepaper is that there are some founders who were just hiring good writers for them to be able to look their whitepaper good and has impact in the public, but of course, we should not just rely how it was well written, but how they keep their promise, their roadmap and how experience the founders are.

Most crypto users certainly have different expertise from each other and maybe including you one of them who wants to make whitepaper in the future, but the question is what is the reason you want to learn about this? I am worried that if you are one of the cheaters or are planning to add a waste project in this industry, and hopefully that is not your intended goal.

you can write just about anything as long as it can be understood, there are writers who can write greats stories without having a proper training. but it would be best to have structured sentences in the whitepaper because investors in crypto are suspicious to whom they will send their money.  typos and poorly written sentences strikes resemblance to scammers, that could end up a flop of plans.

I think this is quite appropriate, but it would be nice if we compare the Whitepaper with one another, if from each whitepaper the formula is different, of course there will be developments that we will adapt to us and the team that will make. The point is to multiply references and be sensitive to any situation.

Yes, you can. But that depends on the project you want to launch so you can make that whitepaper for your project. But if you don't create a new white paper and you copy-paste from the other project, people will know, and they will leave your project. I believe that if every people can understand how to do a project, they will have a chance to tell the details of their project so they can make a masterplan or list that they will do for their project.
I do agree, since he is planning to make a whitepaper, it should be accurate to the project he is planning to create. The idea, plan, and everything about the project. If he will just copy the contents from another whitepaper, investors/community will notice and it may be the reason for the project to get disregard by the people.
Of course people will ignore it when they know that the whitepaper was made by copying from another project, and I personally would of course also choose to ignore the project because for me a good project can certainly create and compile their own whitepaper with ideas and things all they will do to be able to attract more people to participate in the project.

Be positive. Anyone can. But you need a project first.
Or would you rather be just a creator of the whitepaper? It would be better if you are the owner right? You will understand more of what you are writing in that whitepaper of yours.

Although, it will cost you a lot of money for just paying the team which you will also create.

Because a nonsense whitepaper that made just to convey people to invest without working product is a sin for your entire humanity. If you want to use your vast knowledge in reading cryptocurrency, there are many ways to use it as your profits. You can translate and spread the whitepaper because you are the one that knows it well. But probably all of cryptocurrency investors are atleast educated and literate.

Certainly, as long as you study the basic logistics of creating a white paper, you could probably earn some extra income helping people write theirs here within the community. If you analyze the structure, study the formula, examine the layout, it shouldn't be that hard to grasp the basic concept.
Now, you might run into serious trouble creating a white paper from scratch, that is where the real innovation steps in. Anyone could learn the process, but few have the creativity and spark to write something as life altering as the Bitcoin and Blockchain whitepaper. In other words, mastering the process and layout of writing white papers in general is quite attainable and even feasible, but creating one from scratch with it's own original concepts and ideas, and technical explanations is a hard  daunting task.

Writing a whitepaper is not easy that you can do it only by reading some whitepapers, it needs passion, experience,  huge time, references, and lots of information. To write 40 pages of a perfect whitepaper, you need 10-15 days fulltime, maybe more. Once I tried but I failed to finish it. If you spend a certain time researching, analysis about writing whitepaper, and if you have writing skills then you can do it successfully.

Reading to creating a middle distance is a lot. When you read the white paper, you just need to understand its literal meaning. To create a white paper, you need more technology, computer technology, economics, laws and regulations of various countries, and of course, blockchain technology, mathematics, etc. This is a very difficult thing. Of course, if you rely on theft, it will make others despise. So when you can create a white paper, I think you have to learn a lot first. Otherwise, you will have a hard time succeeding. Thank you.

Anyone can read and write whitepaper but the issue is bringing the quality to your text. There are so many whitepapers I came across majority are too lengthy and same information is repeated again and again. You cant understand the underlying project even after reading it 2 times. If one can address these issue, then he can surely be a good writer of whitepapers.
the whitepaper is the framework of the project, even if you do not read a lot of whitepapers you still can do it as long as you understand your project goal.
ideally, the team member should write it by themselves because they know the detail of their project.

Absolutely. Especially when you consider the fact that so many whitepapers these days are completely plagiarised and distributed for the sole purpose of trying to defraud unknowing investors that think their money is being put to good use.

It's absurd the amount of repetition that exists within altcoin WPs that yes, you will probably pick up the cues to write your own in the long run.

There's no professional or technical expertise needed to write a whitepaper. In fact there's no standard for a well written whitepaper
it's simply a note to communicate the teams intension with the public. Though, it's a great idea that you've started studying how whitepaper are being written. I believe it would be very helpful to you when you want to write a whitepaper for any project.

Making a whitepaper is easy, but making a good whitepaper isn't easy at all

That's true, however, if you truly have a goal and your own vision for a certain project, creating one is not impossible and will be easy to build a good one

whitepaper shows the project is, including what you serve to investors, what problem you solve, how coin youll launch, etc
that isnt only about writing, but also about understanding the space (in this case project)

most of people just makes whitepaper by copied from others project. if that's what is your purpose, so making whitepaper is very easy
Copying whitepaper from other project do not show your own plan/vision for the project, it will be very easy as you said, but the true purpose is not there.

That's a good theory, if in the long run you want to make white paper, it's a very good idea. The first thing you have to prepare is the ideas, concepts, structure and composition of the products that you describe are easy to understand for many people, so the white paper is actually useful if used properly on a project that is run because it has a good idea going forward.
But now there are still many white papers that copy from other projects and do not want to make good ideas and the project failed to be considered a scamer.

You will be able to write one yourself even now. You just have to have a great innovative product in mind and how it will sustain itself as an integral part of a project and you may proceed from there. What you can learn from reading whitepapers is the basic structures of the whitepaper. You will be exposed to the most important parts of a whitepaper. That would indeed help in preparing your own. But mind you, it is all about the product presented in there.

Because after reading a lot of withepapers, we become accustomed and trained in whatever is in the whitepaper. Thus the basic picture in a whitepaper you can make, yes even though at first it was not very good. But with a variety of corrections will definitely improve.
But if you are already an expert later, make whitepaper a project that is useful not to fool people.

Although, reading whitepaper would help someone to really know what to do about it when the challenge come but whitepaper is the purpose that a team wants to achieve and the timeline that they want to do that too and methodology for it. And or if there is an alternative to achieving their aim if the first fails, something like that.

You can learn a lot from reading so its possible that you gain knowledge from their so you can start creating your whitepaper. You have to become a visionary if you are planning to create a whitepaper, you should have a concrete plan for everything because its not just a simple whitepaper, it tells everything about your future plan and project.

I have a theory, if I can read cryptocurrency white papers, maybe in the long run I will be able to write a white paper, because by reading how they are initially written, their structure, technical explanations up to a point of view, and all the elements that a white paper has, I should be able to have notions to write one, what do you think?

Yes, everyone can as long as you have a concrete plan and a great project to write for but if its just a whitepaper then it will not be worth it. I do read a lot of whitepaper, some are too good to be true but most of those project really delivers, if you can read then you can do your own paper as well you just need time, great ideas and resources.

You can do that but the problem is not all of the existing whitepaper in the cryptocurrency is having very well structure. So many of this whitepaper has created by amateur and it's better if you can get more information about what kind of whitepaper that has a very good structure and very well written by professional writers.
You must do that to make sure you create a good whitepaper with the correct structure.

Actually anyone can as long as you do it and it becomes a practice, the content of those whitepapers will be stuck on your mind and the ideas that contains it will be on your thought.

Why have you thought of that? are you thinking to be a whitepaper writer? to tell you, many of them were just copy pasted so sometimes these WPs are just show offs that they've actual a plan to show.
