Many tokens are listed in both dex and other normal exchanges(CEX) and many tokens have a huge price gape, i wanted to ask could i bought tokens on dex and sell on normal exchange for a quick profit it is the same token on both exchanges or anything else i need to know about?

Yes, of course, you can. It is only necessary to make sure that this is the same token (for example, at the address of the contract, the developer's site). Because if the price difference is very different, there is a possibility that these are different tokens (with the same or similar tickers).

Of course, you can buy on dex and sell it on cex with the note that the coin is 1 contract address because some have the same coin name but different contract addresses, many make mistakes because they don't pay attention to the contract address

Contract address is the most important for us to know because many scammers are trying to duplicate tokens. ERC20 tokens are widely used by scammers to deceive others. We can see the contract address in etherescan or ask in the group telegram

It is normal and usual to buy the token or coin on the DEX and then selling them on CEX, like an arbitrage system.
Have you done it for several coins? If anyone will do arbitrage, ensure that you have known the rule and also ways in order to avoid losing or shitcoins.
1. Check whether the smart contract of the token or coin is true because there are many fake coins that we can find in the DEX, especially Forkdelta, it will not be received in the CEX.
2. Ensure that the price on DEX is lower than on CEX,
3. WHat's about the speed of the transaction arbitrage needs the fast speed of transferring the coins to get the right moment, or you will lose your profits if it is delayed.

1. u must know sure the token is same i mean smart contract , since nowdays many many token have a same symbol. dont forget to recheck it.
2. of course u must waiting, since deposit on CEX exchange requires a little time and probably the price target already gone and vice versa.
3. dont missunderstanding about sell order or buy order on dex exchange, some dex exchange have a different system buy and sell. we can see until now people still do mistakes like that on Forkdelta.
4. the most important , using third party like metamask for buying or selling on dex exchange.

Yes, you can do that but also include fees incurred during the buying and selling. Be careful with the token that being traded is the same token that you are planning to trade. Like what happen to me today, I supposed to transfer my ABX token to Hotbit  but the token symbol  listed in Hotbit is not the same on my portfolio.

It is normal to do, many players in trading are doing the same.
As they can buy cheap tokens at FORK and send it to exchanges or wait for the good exchange.
Mostly, dumpers are in FD.

Of course, there is no crime in that, and quite a lot users do this, it's known as "arbitrage trading", it is no longer really table these day, due to lack huge difference in prices across CEX and DEX if there is enough liquidity on the tokens, another problem is quick volatility where buy the price could drop below your purchasing price before you withdraw and deposit between exchanges is processed.

You are about to arbitrage trading. But you have to check carefully before you want to do it:
You have to make sure that 2 tokens on 2 exchanges are same (based on smart contracts) because many tokens have the same symbol.
Check if CEX allows to deposit that token?
And finally check trading volume and buy orders on CEX.
If all is well, you can do it.

Because DEX using real blockchain transaction in every order, then it will take more time to trade, so you may lose your opportunity to take profit because of this issue. But you can still do this anyway.

If you found a crypto with huge price difference on different exchange then you can trade them between those exchange to make profit and it said to be as arbitrage trading. But if you calculate the prices wrongly then you will lose your capital amount because many exchanges report wrong price to the the price tracker website like coinmarketcap so analyse the legitimate prices on the the particular exchange before start trading.

Yes you can! This is called Arbitrage trading where buying out cheaper coin on an exchange and sell it to other exchange with having a higher price where you can do make profits as simple as that but these kind of opportunities can be rarely seen thats why if you spot  one then took advantage with it.
Also there are factors to consider before proceed like fees because if you do arbitrage without seeing the fees then you would typically trading for nothing
or worst you would get negative.

The method you are describing is called arbitrage.
It's a common method used in many markets.
In fact, in a way, we all do this in our everyday shopping as we compare prices.

For crypto, arbitrage certainly can work, but I have found it difficult because of the following reasons:

- The costs and fees (from the exchanges as well as gas/blockchain fees) often make it difficult to pull a profit.
- High demand coins can move so fast and sometimes moving your crypto around is so slow that by the time you can make the trade the price advantage is gone.
- Low demand coins have very little volume, making quick flips difficult.

But, with that being said, you should try it out.
The best way to get better at trading is to learn through experience.

Always check the contract addres. I have never met projects that are officially listed on the Forkdelta or ED.Many are listed on the Dex and after the official listing they are sold at a higher price on CEX. This is your right.

Of course you can. Make sure you use the same token/coin in both exchange. Also be cautious about small order book which might risk your quick profit hope. Most trading bot make profits by doing this. Good luck on your trading.

It means that you will do such arbitrage, right? I think that it is no matter to do that as long as the exchange platform can do and finish your transaction quickly. It is the transfer among the exchanges, no matter whether they are CEX or DEX. As long as they can withdraw and deposit, it will not a problem.

That's called as an arbitrage trader and it's possible to do that and you can just buy that from dex and then move it to the cex and you can sell your coin instantly as long as that still build or use the same blockchain and you will able to do anything with it. You should not feel worried about that dude

You can buy and sell anywhere but as you mentioned being sure the said tokens are same is a must before making a trade. And the way for finding them is knowing their contract address.
In both CEX and DEX, they will have some info when you click on the name of the coin. And ultimately lead you to the contract address.
For example in binance, you go to the full name of coin below the ticker and click on explorer to view the contract address of the token.

Ofcourse you can. when you bought a coin regardless of the source it is yours. But keep in mind that there are usually some kind of clone altcoin floating around and also you need to calculate the fee needed compared to the profit you will get. Most important thing, you need to check the smart contract address and see whether it is the real coin you are looking for or not.
When i transferred it to my Eth wallet it's transaction record appeared in official contract address that means its real

I bought a token on forkelta and i transferred it to my personal eth wallet all transactions are in original contract address of the token when i send token to hotbit exchange its not received there although send successfully with more 200 transactions, it was received in given deposit erc20 address but it's not further transferred automatically to hotbit contract so the tokens literally lost.
There is something wrong with hotbit's token address then, are you sure you have put right address? (Well i believe you didn't careless to put wrong address)

Each token has their own confirmation before it deposited to an exchange, but 200 confirmations should be more than enough for a token get deposited.

Have you tried to contact hotbit support?

This is arbitrage just like old fart said. I don't think you can do or get big profit while doing that.

If I get your question correctly, I don't see anything bad in trying arbitrage, unless you are not too sure of the tokens. Most tokens especially in forkdelta are fake replica of genuine tokens, if you want to buy on dex and sell on cex please make sure the contract addresses of the tokens are the same.
