I do wonder why would anyone want to know this? It doesn't feel like it is more than just an amusement, to be fair some super rich people may feel like that would actually be fun to follow, but I am not sure. The more I think about it, the more it could support people holding, people may want to get their numbers up, people may want to end up with something that would be like "if I get 88 dollars worth more, I can jump 1% more up" type of situation, basically making more and more people buy and hold.

If this idea is done, and it is also popular and followed by many, I am afraid that it would not really be something that would be left to that company, bigger ones like Binance, CMC, coinbase and all would just add that option.

just want to see what is missing to be in top 0.1% / 0.5% among BTC holders, of course it's just a estimate, but nice to know Wink
Do not forget that some of these addresses may belong to one person, so you cannot know the real number at the individual level. The best guesses you can get from CEXs data.

So let me ask you OP if you don't mind, how much Bitcoin do you have on your wallet? I am just curious though it's none of my business but yeah just want to know. I personally have like 0.003+BTC on my wallet and I am planning to save it for future purposes. As long as I am enrolled to a sig campaign Bitcoin will keep on coming. 😁
What does this have to do with the topic? It is not possible to know how much Bitcoin you own because you can create thousands of wallets, and if you manage an entire node using Tor, no one will be able to link all your wallet addresses.

Eloncoin.org - Mars, here we come!
OP, what good will knowing the addresses with higher or lesser bitcoin of 5.5btc do to you. Are you trying to start looking at people's wealth that would change anything. I will advice you to buy your own bitcoin, and think on how you can come up with accumulating strategies that will help you grow your bitcoin investment so that you will be proud of yourself tomorrow for taking the bold step.

However, we all have our time to do whatever we like, you have been provided with some information by posters above, and I believe that it will be useful to you.

I guess OP has some kind of goal

I am sure they are also thinking about their profit to gain but most importantly they probably want to be part of people with the most bitcoin in the least way possible well if that is their goal then i think there is a lot more bitcoin they have to buy

Hey there..
I think what you are saying is partially related to this thread here
you can make use of this link https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.63430453 to know your level and the rank your address is including your balance inside the address and that of others. I came across this thread last week so i think it will also help you to solve what you wanted.

You can use https://blockchair.com/bitcoin/addresses#

The site show 10 rows on the page, so it means there are 228,963 addresses have and higher than 5,5 BTC and there are 52,521,743 have lower than 5,5 BTC.

But there's no way to know between active or inactive address.

Let's say I have 5.5 BTC and want to know as of today how many adresses have less/more than that. Is there a site where can I check that?
On this site there is like 1-10 BTC but of course that is quite a difference if you hold 1 or 10 BTC Smiley

How many active wallets are there that have bitcoin as of today?
You can find all the details here List of all Bitcoin addresses with a balance and List of all Bitcoin addresses ever used - weekly updates work again!
Through it, you can know the number of Bitcoin addresses that have a balance, whether it is a specific balance or any number you have in mind, and all the details. Unfortunately, it is raw data and therefore requires some knowledge if you want it in the form of charts.

If you plan to pay or do not have technical knowledge, Glassnode - On-chain market intelligence has all the schemes you are looking for, except that it is a paid service.
