If you want to walk on water, get out of the boat
"efficiency" means nothing... i didn't even know cgminer had this counter

what matter are khash/s

and you are doing 488khash/s

I don't know if it's ok for the 7970 in litecoin mining, since i am not an expert about that

I'm getting efficiency in the 20000%+ range.

I am running p2pool locally using the command:

p2p2 --net litecoin user password  (I've renamed the .exe to p2p2, btw)

I have cgminer running with:

cgminer --scrypt -o http://127.0.0.1:9327 -u user -p password --shaders 2048 --intensity 13 --worksize 256 -g 1

I have an ATI 7970 and after approx. 30 seconds cgminer shows:

(5s) 488.8 (avg):487.9 Kh/s Q:1 A:218 R:4 HW:0 E:22200% U:57.9/m

I would normally assume efficiency above 100% was good, but maybe it isn't.  Do I need to change something somewhere?  The efficiency is constantly rising, now it's on 35600%.

Please help!

Thanks.
