I can get BTC and ETH but no Litecoin.

Leveraging off the OP:
Start Chrome -> Apps -> Ledger Wallet Bitcoin
Enter PIN on Ledger and the Chrome Wallet App (if that is the right name) shows BTC.  There is no way to see Litecoin or Ethereum.

You should install/add litecoin via your Ledger Manager so you can choose it after opening the device and the Ledger Wallet Bitcoin

• Launch the Ledger Manager (click to see how to install and use it if you don't have it installed yet)
• Connect your Nano S or your Blue, enter your PIN, and stay on the dashboard.
• Click on the green bottom arrow icon near the Litecoin logo

After adding litecoin then follow what HCP said above.

Unplug Leger, close app, try again selecting Ledger Wallet Ethereum, select Bitcoin on Ledger. The computer beeps upon successful PIN, but the app does absolutely nothing.
This is where you are going wrong... You need to make sure that the "coin" you select on the Ledger device matches with the wallet you are wanting to actually open! Wink

So, if you want to access Bitcoin:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin"
- select the "coin" on Ledger device: "Bitcoin"

If you want to access Bitcoin Cash:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin"
- select the "coin" on Ledger device: "Bitcoin Cash"

If you want to access Litecoin:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin"
- select the "coin" on Ledger device: "Litecoin"

If you want to access Dogecoin:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin"
- select the "coin" on Ledger device: "Dogecoin"

If you want to access Dash:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin"
- select the "coin" on Ledger device: "Dash"

If you want to access Ethereum:
- use the Chrome App: "Ledger Wallet Ethereum"
- select the "coin" on the Ledger device: "Ethereum"

Notes:

- All the "Bitcoin-like" cryptocurrencies like BTC, BCH, LTC, DOGE etc... ALL use the (very poorly named) "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin" Chrome App.

- Ethereum (and ETC) use "Ledger Wallet Ethereum" Chrome App:

- If you cannot see the "coin" that you want on the Ledger device, you need to use "Ledger Manager" Chrome App to add the coins you want:

I can get BTC and ETH but no Litecoin.

Leveraging off the OP:
Start Chrome -> Apps -> Ledger Wallet Bitcoin
Correct so far...

Quote
Enter PIN on Ledger
At this point, you MUST select "Litecoin" on the Ledger device:

As noted, if you don't have "Litecoin" as an option, then you need to use "Ledger Manager" Chrome App.

Try again selecting Chrome Ethereum and Ledger Ethereum.  The app shows a selection or ETC or ETH.  Select ETH.  There is a fraction of an ETH, but no way to switch to Litecoin.

The litcoin application (on your nano s) communicates with the Bitcoin chrome application.
More specifically... the one called "Ledger Wallet Bitcoin":

Most of the "coins" use this wallet (Doge, BitcoinCash etc.) Only Ethereum and Ripple have their own specific Chrome apps

And yes, it's not a very intuitive name... hopefully something Ledger have taken into consideration with the design/naming of their "native" wallet apps which are due for release "soon". Wink

5.   There I find Trezor Extension, Ledger Manager, Ledger Wallet Bitcoin, and Ledger Wallet Ethereum.  I don’t see Litecoin.

The litcoin application (on your nano s) communicates with the Bitcoin chrome application.
To access your litecoin wallet, simply open the bitcoin chrome application and connect your ledger nano s.
Afterwards scroll to your litecoin app (on your nano s) and open it with pressing both buttons.

Then, you should be able to access your litecoin wallet.

Goal: Transfer some Litecoin to my Ledger Nano S.
Here is step by step activity.  As of this moment, I think I have a transfer out there somewhere in the cloud waiting to be consummated.

1.    Log on to Coinbase and initiate the transfer using the received address supplied by Ledger for Litecoin.
2.   At my computer
3.   Start Chrome
4.   Click Apps
5.   There I find Trezor Extension, Ledger Manager, Ledger Wallet Bitcoin, and Ledger Wallet Ethereum.  I don’t see Litecoin.
6.   But somewhere in the process I did have Litecoin and the Nano gave me the receive address.
7.   Is the process broke at this point?
8.   So start Ledger Manager
9.   Displays a dialog that says to connect the Ledger and if asked enter PIN
10.   Enter PIN, accepted
11.   Ledger displays Bitcoin
12.   Click the right button until it displays Litecoin
13.   Press both buttons simultaneously
14.   Ledger displays: Use wallet to view accounts
15.   The computer continues to display that same page, Connect your ledger wallet.

What can I do now?
