The ERC20 platform is Ethereum so you can not get ETH platform token on WAVES wallet which is of course. Do not do anything if you are not sure because if you send wrong token to MEW you can lose all the tokens you have sent. Please note this in order to invest in ICO projects on the ERC20 platform.

Is waves another platform in blockchain?
There are many blockchain platforms: waves,  neo,  etherium, wanchain,  icon. All of them have separate wallets. New comers have to be very attentive with different kind of wallets cause each wallet supports it's separate type of tokens.

Just some examples of the most well-known and most usable:
erc20 is etherium
nep5 is neo

Hi everyone,
How do I receive ERC20 tokens on the Waves wallet?
You cant unless you use blockswap (developed by Incent) but until now blockswap is under maintenance.
ICOs always asking for the ETH public wallet but Waves says not to deposit ERC20 tokens to ETH address. Confused.
If that ICO is asking for ETH address just gave them a ETH wallet address not the Waves wallet address unless if that ICO token is based in Waves you can gave them a Waves wallet address.
You can make ETH wallet address using MEW website.

ERC20 tokens only accepted in ETH wallet which is https://www.myetherwallet.com
Make sure you bookmark it to avoid phishing scams. Save your private key and download your JSON file. Just in case, you lost your password.

Hi everyone,
May seem like a simple question but can't seem to find the answer anywhere. How do I receive ERC20 tokens on the Waves wallet? Which address do I use? ICOs always asking for the ETH public wallet but Waves says not to deposit ERC20 tokens to ETH address. Confused.
Any advice? Thanks!
