There's no way to delete a wallet address on any platform or on the blockchain.info specifically.

And to OP that's normal since he is using blockchain which a HD wallet. Even the wallet generates an new address he can receive funds sent on the first wallet address. The sent funds should reflect on the overall balance of your friend's wallet.

There is nothing insecure about posting the address financially. There's a small privacy issue though I doubt you or your friend do anything illegal with the addresses so that can be neglected.

Can you also suggest the amount you sent so it's easier for us to find?

Thanks Danny, I am a bit of a novice with bitcoin. My provider (coincorner) did a test for me and received multiple confirmations of the transaction. I do have the send address in both instances and I also have what I assume is the send ID ( long alphanumeric code) from my history file in CoinCorner. However my friend says only the btc sent to the previous receive address after it changed has not arrived in his wallet.

I am not sure of the security implications of sharing the target receive addresses on this forum. But if it is not an issue I can do so.

As long as your friend is using the same wallet, Blockchain.info wallets will still work with the old addresses even when new addresses are issued.

Has your transaction confirmed yet?
Do you have the transactionID?
Are you willing to share the transactionID or bitcoin address that you sent to?
