In this case, your etherum is still on Jaxx right? has not been delivered to the second address you are calling? if yes and you can still access Jaxx but still fail to send, maybe it's a connection problem or some maintenance or bugs are happening. but if the balance shows 0 and the two addresses where you are sending etherum have not entered, maybe you are wrong when entering the address.

What will actually show you the way ahead from this is by importing the wallet to another wallet application to make sure the problem is not from Jaxx. But first, you will need to get the wallet address, then scan it on etherscan to check if there is any ETH in the wallet, if there is ETH in the wallet, then that means you will need to go ahead to import in another wallet application, but if there is no ETH, then it means you might have made a mistake somewhere and can't remember how since it's being a long time. Therefore, assuming after scanning the wallet on etherscan and it shows there is ETH in it, then import the wallet to wallet applications like Trust wallet or Imtoken wallet or Coinomi, then you will see your ETH. But if for some obvious reasons you didn't see any ETH, check the wallet address of the wallet you imported and compare with the one you scanned on etherscan to be sure you imported the correct wallet.

I tried to restore my wallet with Exodus using my 12-word backup phrase [...]

Can you see the balance in etherscan.io?
GO there and papste your address. If there is no balance, there are no funds.

If you see any balance, you need to restore it in another wallet.

There are 2 good options in my opinion.

Myethereumwallet
coinomi

If you can't manage to get your funds in any of those, the funds are probably lost.

Jaxx gives me an error message.

Good to know.
I mean.. who really cares what the error message says, right? The import part is that you are getting one.. /sarcasm

So.. you switched from one horrible wallet to another one.. Not the best way.
Try a proper wallet. If you can't find the desired address / private key, then your derivation path might be wrong.

Back in 2017 i transferred ETH to my Jaxx account. For some reason i used two different receival adresses.
Were they two completely different addresses or did they share a single master private key like in a HD wallet?

It appears that jaxx disabled the hierarchical deterministic feature for ETH and some ERC-20 tokens -

PS. We have disabled HD for Ethereum (ETH), Ethereum Classic (ETC) and RKS (RBTC) as the genesis address in only utilized to keep tokens in one address.

The article was first posted 5 years ago, so not sure if it applies in your case since you said it happened in 2017. Also not sure how it affected previous HD wallets on that platform.

What exact error are you getting when you try spending it on jaxx?
Have you contacted their support, if yes, what was their response?

Can you see the fund in explorer? And you didn’t say what error you are getting. Did you check whether your sending amount + fee exceed the total fund? Please share the error, otherwise, no one can help.

Hi.

Back in 2017 i transferred ETH to my Jaxx account. For some reason i used two different receival adresses.

Now i want to move the ETH, the Jaxx wallet shows the correct total balance for both adresses. I managed to move an amount equal to the content of one of the adresses and have 2 ETH left on the second adress but this I cannot move. My balance is 2 ETH but every time i try to move it Jaxx gives me an error message.
I tried to restore my wallet with Exodus using my 12-word backup phrase however the balance in Exodus is 0, so for some reason only connecting to one of the adresses (the one i emptied).

I dont know alot about how this works, can someone tell me what is wrong and how I can fix it so I can move the ETH?
