A bit off-topic:

Make sure to properly secure your account next time, to prevent such problems from happening again; not only on Bitcointalk but all of your accounts online. Anyway, do you have an idea on how the hacker got access to your account(s)?
I have a generic password for non financial accounts.  They probably got that from somewhere.  This one has some sentimental value so I thought I'd try and get it back.

OP sent me a signed message, but I can't verify it:
Welcome back @OP!
Welcome back from an Admin is enough for me. Tag removed.

Welcome back @OP!

lucky for you. I'm still chasing admins for 2 years to get my hacked account back.
I remember your case and IIRC it was hard to fully restore access. Sorry you had to wait this long, please follow the instructions in this thread, as posted above as well: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/recovering-hackedlost-accounts-5089777

You are chasing for 2 years but did not follow meta for updates is a foolish thing you have ever done...
On 26th Dec 2018, Theymos announced Recovering hacked/lost accounts and I got my account back on 31st Jan afair after 6 months 20 days waiting.
It wouldn't be that late if I knew about the announcement, but I was lucky enough that Loyce informed me about the recovery update on my thread which I've created after hack.

Care for your recovery application very well, so that it doesn't interrupt the process. Good Luck!

May be LoyceV. will removed his feedback when he will see your PM or this thread.
I tagged the account based on a signed message, so I prefer to get another signed message to be thorough:
If you can sign a message from an old staked address, I'll tag the account with red trust until you get it back. If you ever get it back, you'll need another signed message to confirm that.

Staked several times here.

lucky for you. I'm still chasing admins for 2 years to get my hacked account back.

There's a new system (from just before new year) for recovering hacked accounts, you don't need to chase anyone anymore.

Not that we're a bunch of skeptical cynics or anything, but you know...  We're a bunch of skeptical cynics.  Trust but verify.

It's not needed Check the Security Log - https://bitcointalk.org/seclog.php

Manual recovery completed on April 22.

This time last year someone hacked my account and changed my password.  This is to say I have now got my account back.  My temp account ThirdPrize2 will now become redundant.

Have I got any trust issues outstanding on this account?  I can't see any.

I noticed from bpip that account has been recovered manually by forum. May be LoyceV. will removed his feedback when he will see your PM or this thread.
I don't see any other trust issue here since your alt account is clear. But you should careful enough to prevent abuse if you like to use both account.

I think to remove your redtrust. Sometimes DT member requested went the account already back to make a sign message, to verify your account already back to the real owner. Would be good if you add a sign message too at this thread.
