Regarding the gateway you mentioned, CoinLabz, it's always a good idea to do some research before making a decision. It's great that you've found a potential solution that you're interested in.

But, I'd recommend looking into a few others as well to make sure you're getting the best fit for your business.

Some other gateways that you may want to consider include BitPay, Coinbase Commerce, and GoCoin. Each has its own unique features and benefits, so it's important to do your due diligence to see which one aligns best with your needs. I hope this helps.

BTCPay Server is the best option but like joniboini suggested it require some work. When you have an IT guy then it's not a big deal.

Additionally there are third-party hosts for BTCPay server[3], but it has few concern.
To be exact, here are some/all of the list[1] of thirdparty sites accepting registration for btcpay payment that is ready to use for accepting payments to your site.

I once tried to add BTCPay on one of my hobby project but later I abandoned the entire project. It did not look much harder for someone who have basic web scripting language knowledge. Someone with knowing basic php should be able to connect the codes easily for professional it should be a piece of cake.

If you know the history of Bitpay then I don't think you will need to check any review about it.

I do not want to cause you frustration, but most of the third-party services for bitcoin payments are not good for several reasons, for example some of them sometimes ask for KYC
For businesses running its services getting payment gateways, business-related information is really required, knowing ecommerce sites using card payments, Paypal, and other fiat payments 90% KYC is required, which is business owners are not surprised when asked basic KYC and business-related information.

Bitpay service is not the preferred service for many reasons, they ask you to verify your identity, sometimes they have additional verification even after KYC complete, sometimes there are some problems in making payments in some countries, and problems in the refund process.

A year ago I wrote about them on this topic BitPay is slowly dying?

Thanks for the info I don't know if Bitpay has a bad reputation on Trustpilot, I used to pay my monthly server using bitpay on vultr but I already move it to a different provider. Although after this Im not gonna recommend it to everyone.

and I just check the BitPay Stat

I do not want to cause you frustration, but most of the third-party services for bitcoin payments are not good for several reasons, for example some of them sometimes ask for KYC and they can ban you at any time for any reason, there are basically some countries that are banned from these services.

Even services that are not currently required by KYC can change their terms at any time without telling you.

Many potential customers do not like these services, so it is better to find a way to pay for your site without the need for third-party services.

Who are you using for taking credit card payment now? Where are you hosting it?
Some web hosts have partnered with some providers to get you crypto payments.

It's not a 1 size fits all answer. And what do you want to do with the payments? Convert straight to fiat or hold them?
Some places like Conbase Commerce are more expensive then others. BUT they will do the conversion on the fly and put the money into your account.
Others can be more of a manual process.

I usually find some website using Bitpay service in its been a long time
Because its easy, like ready to use integration using different CMS' ecommerce platform which most of the ecommerce shop these days are built many more features. But for the worst case that will happen is getting lock your funds for some reasons, having slow support, asking KYC requirements, etc.

BTC price road to $80k
What CMS do you use?

BTCpayserver is the best but the problem is you need to host it which is a bit expensive for a monthly subscription. However, you can run BTCpay with a raspberry pi and run it 24/7.

Alternatively, you can use blockonomics if your CMS is WordPress check the link below

  • What is the average number of clients you have? your technical expertise?
  • the average visits to your site (those who may pay in bitcoin)?
  • Do you want to keep bitcoins or convert them to dollars as soon as they reach you?
  • Do you know the basics of dealing in bitcoins and protection hot wallets?
Answering the above questions will narrow the search.

Thank god, god is good 😅

I will suggest to stay away from BitPay shit. They will manipulate the customer to use BCH, that's they shill. The hidden fees for CoinPayments sucks.

Try BTCPay server as suggested above. They are open source, you can modify them depending on what you need, you can also use a plug-in for fiat conversion if that is required to run your business. It might take some time to set up, but you have complete control over how the process works. AFAIK most members also recommend them if you are open to setting up your own software.

The only downside is probably the lack of altcoin support (you don't need them anyway if you want to accept BTC only). Don't rely on articles like that. Most of the time they just list whatever website offers payment processor software and list their marketed pros and cons with no in-depth review. I can even argue that the threads linked above contain more discussion/in-depth reviews of each platform compared to articles on a random blog.

What makes you confused btw? We can probably help you answer some of your confusion if you post it here. Asking for more suggestions on which payment processor to choose is not going to help you if you are looking for a specific guide on how to integrate an API into another platform, for example. CMIIW.

Based on the article, they suggest to use 1x widget, this is the first time I heard Bitcoin payment processor offered by this site and based on the benefit, it seems this site is really bad because it's contradict one to another. How's the journalist can say the payment provider offer anonymity while they do ask for KYC verification? lol, it doesn't make sense.

I'd suggest to use BTCPay server because it's the best solution for Bitcoin payment processor with a lot features, they already support lightning network too.

Benefits of the X1 widget

The client can conduct the payment procedure without leaving the website. And KYC information can be taken automatically from the customer’s account on the X1 exchange.
The transactions won’t be denied due to local restrictions.
The X1 crypto exchange offers fiat to crypto and crypto to fiat currencies exchange services, which makes cross-border payments faster and easier.
The latter statement also means that people can take advantage of online gambling services without needing the issuing bank to confirm or deny their transactions.
In the crypto world transaction fees are minimal.
The anonymity aspect of the crypto market makes it preferred by those who seek privacy.
The merchant can customise the trading pairs – crypto to different fiat currencies as per their personal choice
Crypto exchange procedures are completed in very short time periods, which means that both the customer and the merchant won’t have to wait a lot, in order to each get what they agreed on in the online deal.

[List] Bitcoin Payment Processors.
Coinpayment list

I did not use those payment processors (Bitcoin and altcoin accepted) but with two given lists, you can check and pick one that has suitable service fee for your small e-commerce site.

Hi,

First of all I apologize if this is not the right section for my post.

Straight to the point - I run a small e-commerce store and I want to accept BTC payments. As far as I know I need a payment gateway for that.

The more I read the more confused I get, so I was wondering if someone can recommend me a good gateway / other payment solutions to accept crypto payments on my site?

So far these guys look good, as far as I understand the customer don`t have to leave my site to process the payment, which is nice...I guess:

Thank you in advance!
