Dual PCI-E 6-pin power connectors is odd, and the "right angle" MOLEX IMO is a pain compared to a straight-in one in that position.

Never heard of "ver 009" on a riser before - might be an enhancement of VER 008, might be advertising bragging only.

Thanks for all the replies, I've gone with these for they have four connection points on board and they say latest version 009S (makes a difference?)

So, to await delivery of kit and put together and test late January.

Those are the ones I use too.  I've built two 6-gpu rigs with them.

Hi all, 1st post !

I've been looking into mining for a while and currently run a dual Claymore on my home gaming pc whilst learning. In January I'm planning to build a six rig miner and have sourced all the parts except the riser cards.

Would you guys have any recommendations on particular brands to consider or avoid? I've read that some use cheap components/usb cables.

All help appreciated.

Reck.

I personally like ones that have a molex 4 pin on the board itself, and then come with a adapter to sata.   This way you can use a sata but if you happen to not have a sata can use a 4 pin molex from PSU.  Came in handy in one build where I ran out of sata and just used Molex on last 2 spots.
