I lost my password and recovery phrase. I do however have my wallet.dat and private key saved and was able to regenerate my wallet with the wallet.dat file and my coin was still there after resyncing. The thing is I cannot transfer any coin or execute any commands in the console without my passphrase. Is there a way to finish recovering the wallet with the private key I have saved or am I just out of luck?
If you have private key then why don't you try to import the wallet to another wallet provider? I don't actually know Ravencore wallet and what coin it supports but since you said you have the private key you can simply import the address of the coin into another for example if it supports ethereum you can use MEW to recover your coin.

I'm unsure how to do that. But here is what I have done so far. I installed Ravencore on a Virtual Machine and had it generate a new 12 word recovery phrase during the install. After installing I closed it then replaced the wallet.dat file with the one I had saved and am now letting it sync. It's only got 4 years and 7 weeks to sync so I hope that by this time tomorrow evening I'll know if it worked.

Thank all of you for the great advice. I actually found my 12 word recovery phrase for Atomic wallet I found while searching my papers so I recovered it and found some Litecoin I mined back in 2020 so at least something good has come of it so far. LOL

As mentioned previously, wallet.dat you won't need. Just pick a trusted BTC wallet and import it.
Ravencoin private key won't work in a BTC wallet, OP needs to check out wallets that are available for ravencoin either windows or mobile, sorry I've not even decide whether to mine ravencoin or not...do some research yourself.

The fact that you still have the day file and you are were able to use it today gain access to the wallet means that there's still hope. You may need to try it on another device or a different wallet provider to see if you can gain full access of your wallet. I wish you the best of luck.
