Is reddit really just full of a bunch of weirdos? I'm not really sure what reddit is but I did see a dateline show or something like it not too long ago and it was about some professional troll that did really messed up things in the forums and basically got awards for it. He was a freakin' loser.

Reddit is one of the most active online communities on the internet. it has an Alexa rank of 137 with "1 billion page views each month"

It has featured AMA "ask me anything" with thousands of big name celebrities including

President Barack Obama
Presidential Candidate Garry Johnson

Reddit is one of the most active dynamic web community on the internet.  a big deal

Have there been any precedents of bitcoin related topics being #1 on HN at some point?

Can somebody remember:

- When?
- What topic?
- What results pricewise, Google trends-wise?
