I think Joel_Jantsen is right....even the link to Amazon is proof of over charging at least

We've already dismissed that accusation above.

You can't get t-shirts printed on both sides at the cost of those linked on Amazon by Joel_Jantsen.

The stupidity of your arguments is obvious by your statements which are obviously NOT researched.

You have conveniently linked to an Amazon store that sells t-shirts of a specific color with NO custom print on the front and back. This printing on both sides of the t-shirt increases the cost. Also, we are counting at least Rs. 50-100 ($1-$1.5) for distribution (travelling mainly). Thus, the figure comes to about $15.

Please stop throwing baseless arguments at us like in the last campaign. You either have some direct vendetta against us or you're just extremely racist. Either way, stop trolling our efforts. And if you think you can do any better, please go ahead and start your own campaign here.

Thank you.
Out of 20 points I made you only replied to 1 of them stating you need "$1" for shipping ? WOW.What do you mean baseless arguments ? I have quoted every single line of your's with valid explanations, its you who hasn't bothered replying to any of them.Where is the racist part coming from ? How can I be racist when I'm an Indian too ? You're simply not able to take the criticism as you're fraudsters and scammers who extort people in plain white lies.Answer my one and only question :

Why haven't you tried funding from 1.Government 2.Charities 3.Door-Door campaigns ?
If you're answer is "Because our scam would be busted and we would be behind the bars" please don't bother replying.

P.S. : As long as I'm around the bitcointalk community, don't even expect a single Satoshi from this site.

Lol. You're so cute. Smiley
Quoted your response. That certainly is a nice way to deal with discussions.

As presented I don't think it is a scam per se. I've lived in third world countries off and on, and it sounds like some young starry-eyed westerners trying to 'help the poor' in an exotic land, maybe get some press, write a book, etc. etc.

They are likely not scamming for the $15 it costs to print and give away t-shirts.

But there is a better way to go about this, however. First, bitcointalk is not the place to be soliciting donations, because lets be frank: this place is rife with fraudsters, hackers, you name it. Your best bet is to team up with a successful BTC business who can underwrite you for the first 1-2 dozen shirts. Hell, you could afford the plane ticket to India, you can afford to underwrite the first two dozen shirts yourself. Get those shirts distributed, get some local press, and then come back to Reddit/bitcoin. Reddit is a bigger audience, and there is more likely to be a small group of people in Delhi who can pay the street corners (any maybe yourself) a visit, and vouch for you and the work you are doing.

TL;DR: Interesting idea, likely not a scam, rethink your initial fundraising.

Hello everybody! Our last post here was met with a lot of distaste but also some constructive suggestions on how to improve our process.
NOPE.That doesn't change the fact you're scamming people.Ripping people off their coins!

We are coming back to you, with a better objective: To give T-Shirts to underprivileged people at traffic lights in India, starting with Delhi.
Why ? There are enough charities in India which do the same for free. Also the cost of the t-shirts you're selling is not even 0.01BTC ,in India its 60 rupee. That's like 0.0005 ! So don't give us that bullshit.

If you have read our posts on http://redlightblues.in, you will see that these people unfortunately, don't have access to good clothing. We notice that is a problem with at least 95% of people working at traffic lights in India. They wear whatever they can get their hands on, usually clothes that have been thrown away by other people.
No.People donate a shit tons of cloths every month of a number charities across delhi.Get in touch with those charities and maybe help them out instead of seeking every opprtunity to scam people here on Bitcointalk. Why can't you ask money from Delhi Local People ? I heard everyone drives polish cars and belong to lavish families.Giving out a a few bucks for something as good would never be a problem for them but you're scammers and you know they won't entertain you.

So we are bringing this opportunity to you to give one poor person one t-shirt. Unlike our previous un-calculated post, we've done the math this time!
This seems like a more refined scam attempt.

It would cost us 0.02BTC ($15) to give 1 person 1 t-shirt. We have a goal of giving at least 2000 people t-shirts, for which we would need to raise 40BTC. But we will start work as soon as we get enough for 10 tshirts.
WTF $15 FOR A TSHIRT ? THAT IS 960 INDIAN RUPEE ! EVEN I DON'T FUCKIN WEAR CLOTHS THAT EXPENSIVE.If anyone wants to cross verify how expensive are Tshirts in India ,here you go : http://www.amazon.in/T-Shirts/b?ie=UTF8&node=1968123031
Please donate me a Tshirt too,I can't certainly afford a tshirt that expensive.

But you might ask, apart from this being a good deed, what is it for the Bitcoin community? Simple: We're printing designs on the front and back of the shirt. The front, will have a design of a Bitcoin and/or Bitcoin related art. The back, would have a QR code and/or link to our website - redlightblues.in.
So what is in it for a bitcoin community again ? Bullocks, that is.

This presents yet another unique opportunity to people/companies/casinos that would like to see custom front-designs! If you donate between 2-5BTC, you can decide the front design of the t-shirts, given they're not objectionable designs. If you donate between 5-10BTC, you can decide on the front AND back designs and we'll only have the URL to our website at the bottom of the back of the t-shirt.
LMAO This is the dumbest thing I have heard this year. You're a delhi fucktard and this is expected.Beggars wearing a bitcoin gambling T-SHIRT in India,in Delhi where people have hard times understand English.Fuck,Indian government doesn't allow sports betting legally in India, forget about bitcoin gambling. You sir, should give up begging for bitcoins here.No one is falling for this and honestly stop making money taking poor people as your circle of influence.

We understand that a lot of scammers use this forum to try to cheat Bitcoin owners out of their money. We aren't one of those people. We're happy to respond to any queries you may have at the following email address - [email protected].
Putting up a website and begging professionally doesn't make you less than a scammer.

We are also tying up with a 2 year old established NGO in the next couple of days. This NGO is owned by prominent BJP (a political party) leaders Uma Bharti and Manju Tewari! (Touch-wood, fingers-crossed)! This would be a big step for us. Aircel has also shown some interest but their CSR team (the marcom manager - Mr. Manish) is a little slow on the take, and said he needs time to discuss this with his superiors!
If you support from all the big shots mentioned above, why beg for bitcoins here ? Those political parties have already sucked lot of wealth from India ,you are just another faggot trying to suck it from the bitcoin community.

Advice to my fellow Bitcoiners : OP is putting up a blatant scam by his initiative. He would do a lot without the need of your/mine bitcoins. What does he wants bitcoins for ? To convert them into fiat so he could buy those expensive Tshirts for the street beggars ? A lot of NGO's are already taking care of that without asking any money or begging for it like the OP.For 0.02 you can buy 12 good Tshirts in India while OP is buying one ,maybe its sponsored by Nike or Adidas.Refrain yourself from falling into this scam as I'm pretty sure OP is another typical scammer from India trying to use his emotions and sympathy to beg for bitcoins.Ask him a simple question if he has ever tried raising money in India through public conferences or political influences. He hasn't,because he knows ,he'll get ass kicked by the public for lying. You guys should imagine how they are not ready to accept any lower amounts and faking the Tshirt stats.Go ahead, donate your money only to see some scammer living nice life out of it.

EDIT!!!!!!

Here are images of t-shirt front designs: http://imgur.com/a/NbtnA

Hello everybody! Our last post here was met with a lot of distaste but also some constructive suggestions on how to improve our process. Most of the points mentioned there were true. We should have done more research before getting excited and posting. All in all, our approach was wrong and we apologise.

We are coming back to you, with a better objective: To give T-Shirts to underprivileged people at traffic lights in India, starting with Delhi.

If you have read our posts on http://redlightblues.in, you will see that these people unfortunately, don't have access to good clothing. We notice that is a problem with at least 95% of people working at traffic lights in India. We will update the T-Shirt designs here as soon as we have them! They're currently in the design phase, we hope they come out good!
