Mine is doing 30 mhs at 92w, at least according to teamredminer. Maybe it's drawing more from the wall, but I don't have a watt meter to check.
Man, don't you feel sorry for spending $ 10 on a wattmeter. Electricity consumption also depends on the certification of the Bronze-Platinum power supply unit and the motherboard.
I have old GA-970A-DS3P motherboards and they consume 20 watts more than new ones.

Lol use watt meter you will be disappointed, if Nvidia is drawing 100 watt in mining software it's 120watt from wall unlike Radeon GPUs most especially those Polaris they draw more power from wall 👎

it is drawing 130w from the wall.

590s sucks avoid them at all cost, rx580s can't still be turned way down to 75watts using the right mem and core settings also locking the MV to a certain minimum but 590s are not miners favourite believe me, I'd sell instantly for another GPU if it find way to me

I hope you get the GPU at a very cheap price? If not it's a waste of money unless you have free electricity, 29-30MH at 120watt is nonsense like I said u less you have free electricity, the right judgement should be 30MH at 55watts to 75 watts max not 120watts, 120watt fits 60+MH better than 30MH
Yes it is but this is old card. You can squeeze consumption but you will loose hashrate.

Is there anyway to reduce power consumption of rx590 GPU down to rx580s range? Honestly I don't understand why 590 takes more power when mining I have one on ground that I removed due to high power consumption, 150watt for 29MH doesn't make sense to me
With right settings it will deliver 30mhs at 120-130watts

core 1150
memory 2000-2100
pw 850-900
Honest consumption from the wall 120-125 watts.
This is the normal power mode for these video cards.

You can go as low as 122 watt running rx590 @30MH using AMD Wattman, or if you are running hiveOS it will even be better using phoenix miner, you can also mod with this bios in hive OS
