Usually posting referral link isn't allow, and its encourage spam. The rules for all section, not only for gambling section. I have remember, long time ago I have reported a topic which was full by referral links. There was mandatory to post referral link in order get signup bonuses. And I saw there any moderators has not taken any action. That means if any thread requires posting referral link for something then you might post only that post. But you are not allow to post that link on other topics. So overall we can say posting referral link is against forum rules except special case. And there is high possibility you might get ban if you break this rules multiple time. It's better to avoid posting referral link or code on this forum.

I've done a guide about referral links if you want to make use of them: Bitcointalk and reflinks: don't produce refspam, please

In short, there are 3 different ways to use referral links:

1.) Include reflinks in your signature (recommended)
2.) Link them as a website in your profile (recommended)
3.) Refliks in your personal text (will only work with very short links)

neon23, I ask same question some time ago, and this is the answer from one of the global mods:

Technically they're against the rules, but people kinda started to get a free pass in the Gambling Discussion sub a while back. Personally, I don't really care about them regarding users like tipsters who are giving their picks away for free and include a ref link if anyone wants to put the bet through them. At least they're putting some effort or at least thought into their posts, but I'm sure many others (including mods) would disagree. If someone just signs up to post a ref link though that would be a different story. Theymos will probably say take them on a case by case basis but I'm sure everyone has a different opinion on in what context they should or shouldn't be allowed (especially regarding tipsters).

From this it can be concluded that Gambling board is to some extent exempt from the rule "no ref links in post", and it depends of mods/admin whether such a post will be deleted or not. Rules should be the same for all users on all boards, but as we can see there are exceptions.

The way you want to post referral links is probably not allowed, but you can try and see if such post will be reported and link removed.

I know it is against the rules to post referral links only.

Correct, but it's allowed if it isn't spam.
The only exception is if you're the owner or representative of the gambling website
and you're posting it as the official thread of your casino, that's normally tolerated because it isn't ref code spamming.
Example: wetsuit's thread - with "?r=4" as his ref link.

However, the description of your "review" is one of the example of ref link spam.

You can post referral links in your signature.

alternatively, you can also post the ref link on your personal text (if it's too long use link shortener like bit.ly).

No, The reason why referral links is against the rules is to prevent people from spamming the forum and if they allow what you just said then it makes no difference because people will still spam the forum using that method.

I know it is against the rules to post referral links only.

Suppose you write a review in Gambling about a service and you add two links at the end of the review text: the first link is the link to the page and the second link is a clearly marked referral link so that the reader can decide whether to click the normal link or the referral link. Is this allowed?
