It's implied that referral links are ok. Otherwise, all of dogie's threads would be deleted. They're heavily laced with commission links.

The same question i asked in this community few months earlier,

The Answer i got from many reputable member is that "You can use your ref link, but with ref link you will have to use non ref link." And i did the same in Gambling Section and Nothing Happened to my post.

Thanks

~ OTS ~

I don't know why people say this, but no it's not true. Spam is spam, doesn't matter if you add a non ref link. Welsh's post is correct.

ok sorry for that but then on my post no Admin and Mod replied about this thing thats why i sum up with this type of thing from all the replies.

Keyword being spam. You can have a post with a referral link that is not spam. Most referral links are spam, not all though.

Referral links are allowed. They are only disallowed when posts/threads were solely created to advertise the service, low quality posts dedicated to the referral link and obviously spamming of referral links.

I think they may are allowed; however, i cannot be sure about it since looking at the Forum moderation policy it seems not allowed at all. Hope admin & mods would clarify it.

The policy to not remove anything worked when the forum was small. Now that we have thousands of posts a day, we can't afford 50% of them being junk. The moderators are now instructed to be less tolerant of low-value posts.

Some guidelines:

1. Free speech - you can say anything as long as it is relevant and presented in a calm and polite manner. Swearing, SHOUTING etc. make your post more likely to be removed.
2. No zero value posts or threads, like "SELL SELL SELL"
3. No pointless or uninteresting threads.
4. No referral code spam
5. No NSFW content

I would like to see this answered by staff as well. I was browsing a thread a few days ago where a guy posted his qoinpro ref link, which was quickly deleted by the mods. I personally think they should be confined to a specific thread, if allowed at all.

Yeah, I really want to know whether they should be reported or not.

Under what circumstances are users allowed to place referral links in their posts?

For instance, if a post is clearly just advertising some site and trying to get them to join under their sneakily placed referral link, then that seems like it should be removed. But what if the post is actually constructive? Does it follow a similar rule to placing advertisements in posts?
