  • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
The advent of online gambling has made it difficult  to even meet fellow gamblers. I hardly even visit physical shops, so there is no way to meet the underage gamblers to be able to talk to them. The best that can be done about that rest with the gambling companies; they have to refuse them access to their platform or shops and this will discourage some of them not all. Parents should also dk more to protect their children from gambling.
Most times I does but hardly see or meet with underage gamblers within the local casinos or gambling sites, like you said I do regularly visit the gambling site platform to do my gambling activities instead regularly visit the local shops. Staying online gives more time to settle down to maintain your personality unlike visiting local shops where everyone would have to look at you as an irresponsible gambler, especially within my country which often see people that gambles as irresponsible gambler because they are being spotted out within the casino site.

I am trying to become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler by trying to manage my funds in gambling. I realize that if we don't manage our funds and take care of ourselves when playing gambling, we can gets deeper in gambling and even worst, we can becomes addicted to gambling.
Becoming a responsible and ethical gambler is a must to avoids the bad things and more problem that can occurs so we must know how to control ourselves. From this forum, we can learn how to be a responsible gamblers because many of us share that way so we can learn from their experience.
To combat underage gambling in our locality, we can reminds young people to use their time for doing many positives activities such as socialize and doing sports so their energy can be used to have something for their health. But that will not easy as it say because we will face objection from them so we need to think much about that before we do.

1.I have always been a responsible gambler, so there wasn't any need for me to "become" responsible. I guess that it's really hard to become responsible, when you were irresponsible at first.
2.I don't know about any underage gamblers in my area. I don't know how to fight underage gambling in online casinos. Do you have any ideas? Maybe I should try to find where kids that are gambling used to gather online and then report them, but will this work to stop them from gambling? I don't think so.
3.I have always been financially responsible. I don't know what do you mean by "socially conscious"? I'm not a very social person and I just mind my own business. I don't try to help gambling addicts, when I find them, because I know that I can't help them.

Looking forward to your thoughts.
I myself feel that there has been quite a change in my own behavior towards gambling that I like to do now, previously I gambled blindly without seeing the obvious risk side that would occur and now I have a behavior that I think is quite developed better where there is no longer a strong desire to gamble that I feel, when I want to gamble for now I can easily divert it to other things or other activities, different from when I first got to know gambling where when I wanted to gamble I would definitely do it even though I didn't have money I looked for a way to get money. This is a change that has been happening for quite a long time.

In addition, in my environment online gambling is one of the things that is quite popular in all circles, be it young people, children and even parents. Many people gamble online in the hope of getting a quick win and helping their economic situation, but what happens is that many people experience losses because of this but I myself do not have a definite way to combat underage gambling.

Having reviewed all of this i think an experience has taught one some lessons of never to increase your odds but gamble with what you can afford to lose and thus is why becoming a responsible gambler is undisputed, and underage gambling I think have been able to talk down on some criteria to enable them stay far from gambling and with all this I'm very conscious about my financial state instead of it deviating to losses.

For the gambling community yes it is a safe place, I mean I have been in bitcointalk since 2014 yet the problem is when lot of people said Im the OG still here I am not rich yet hahaha.

  • Im pretty much not a responsible gambler, I say to a lot of people here to gamble with budget, to not greedy and etc but Im still greed and yesterday I just lost all my earned money like 500 USD in a gamble haha.
  • In Local here in Indonesia gambling is illegal and the sites really tricky I just tell all my friend to not gamble and said the odd of online slot here is low so stay out of it
  • I know what I am doing but sometimes the emotion is taking me I do have some saving and I dont want that to put on my gambling activity ever.

Unethical gambling can be all those things which doesn't sound right morally.
For example, using VPN to access a casino site while the casino prohibits the use of VPNs.
Creating multiple accounts to abuse the promotions and bonuses on the site.
I treat gambling as something I do for entertainment and pleasure and if I were to participate in unethical behavior or activities then that takes out the fun in gambling like match fixing or any kind of cheating.

Though One could argue that the ones you’ve listed actually makes way for us to have fun but the thing is we need to respect the casino and their rules. I would be way too concerned about legal repercussions to ever engage in malicious activity.

I have. I have encountered many. They do a lot of online gambling which is how they are able to gamble in the first place. For some platforms with no KYC, this is what happens.

I don't think that I've ever seen any changes in my gambling habits although I'm not that prolific of a gambler after all that's probably the reason why, maybe the thing that matters the most is that with all the discussions here, people are improving in their gambling habit and they're finding the time to have the fun while gambling and not worrying too much about the expenses. I think this discussions are a good way for you to be able to improve on your gambling responsibility and hopefully more people will be changed by this kind of thing, even just one person.

I guess, at some point most of us already encountered too much losses in gambling to the point where you are in a very tight spot because you already used all your funds and you still need to pay some bills or buy some essentials. Hence, the lesson learned from that situation will always linger on you and now, you are aware of what you are doing when it comes to gambling.
But if you are just an occasional gambler, you won't have much problem getting out of this activity as for sure, you are only using your spare funds. You will only play if you have extra, otherwise, you won't see yourself playing with these luck-based games. Or you are only betting on your favorite sports.

Just make use of the amount that you can afford to lose, then you should really be just that fine.

  • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
None, there's no way that you could be able to combat or make it stop. I do have that kind of fear that being scolded or
would be told out that mind your own business kind of words.

As it should be, not only limited to gambling but also in other aspects as well.

Responsible yes, ethical idk. What makes a gambler unethical anyway? If you mean not participating in fixed matches then yea definitely. I'm too much of an introvert in the first place to look for people who match fix anyway lol. As for the second one, nothing I guess? Platforms that casinos use to promote aren't exactly controlled by me, nor can it be influenced. If I saw someone gambling at a young age or going to a casino I'd definitely stop them, but that's probably the limit. As for financially literate, who knows. i at least think I know what I'm thinking but hey, maybe that's just me.

This is a little logic that gives you an inner check that no matter what you should stay at your lowest because gambling is one respecter of anybody, do let's just get on with your questions. Firstly I'm a responsible gambler cause I'm so discipline with what I can afford to lose, and I think total abstinence from gambling would do alot of help to to gamblers in my community and beyond if truly the stick to decisions and lastly yes and that's a more reason I know I'm so personal with how I spend my funds especially to something that doesn't profits me anything.
There would really be no issues if you do really just that simply make yourself being that responsibe on whatever the actions that you would be making, this isnt really just that limited on gambling itself but also in other aspects or things as well on which it will really be that mainly needed in terms of proper decisions on which it will really be that needing to be viable so that you wont really be ending on having those huge problems.
Actually you wont really be able to experience any issues if you are really just that responsible or having that right approach towards gambling because it was really that meant for the sake of entertainment and
able to enjoy or simply with having that past time. On the time or moment that those insights or impressions changes then this is where issues or problems do really start to rise up.

People do usually make out those kind of realization on the moment or time that they had already messed up their lives due to the reason that they've been that trying out to tolerate out such greed
and dont mind of thinking up into those probabilities that they might be able to encounter. If you are someone whose really that mindful towards on the actions that you are making then you wont
really be ending up on having issues about gambling addiction problems or having that financial hardships.

It is essential to set clear goals and know the limits of time and money, by focus on developing skills and analyzing games rather than relying on luck alone. It is also important to set aside specific time for gambling and not let it interfere with daily life and other commitments. In addition, available resources such as online support groups or participating in professional gamer forums (bitcointalk gambling sub-board) can be used to share experiences and strategies. Remember that gambling should be a form of entertainment and not a means of making easy money, and moderation is the key to achieving the desired balance.

It is important to note that gambling carries the risk of losing money, and that gambling addiction is a real problem that can negatively affect the life of an individual and his family. If you feel that you have lost control of your gambling habit, it is advisable to seek professional help and try to stop gambling as soon as possible.

I don't understand why would these two would close each other out?
I am not sure how increasing odds of winning would be unethical or irresponsible? I can choose both.

  • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
I don't really have to do anything, we have tight laws against that.
I just make sure that my kids don't see me gambling. I've played slots before them in the past, and in hindsight, luckily i didn't win big.

  • Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler?
Sure, i keep a tight gambling budget and i don't gamble while drinking. And that budget has spread to rest of my life as well as i budget everything now. It really helps with impulsivity.

1. Being responsible should be the key so that you wont really be finding yourself to messed up with gambling. Play for fun and not for money.Sounds easy but its actually hard when you are in the middle of session.
2. There's nothing we can do about underage gambling, in todays technology and access then it would really be that so damn easy on dealing up with things.
3. Even just using up your own common sense you would really be able to tell yourself that gambling could cause up that financial devastation if you wont really be that careful.

If you dont like that messed up condition then it would really be better that you should really know on what you are doing and not really that making yourself that doing too much gambling.
Its not bad to gamble as long you do make yourself responsible. Anything on what you are spending should really be in control because if not then negative things would surely
happen and this is something that we should avoid.

Well, even if I had shown some symptoms of addiction in my gambling lifestyle, it only happened when I was very young, and then I was still a student who was dependent on my parents and also on myself. I used to even bet sometimes with the money I got from my parents for upkeep.

I don't think there is really any serious thing I have done in my locality to combat underage gambling, apart from encouraging young people not to make gambling an option at a young age.

The answer to your last question is yes. I am so focused on business activities and any job that can bring a consistent income. I know that gambling cannot add to my income but rather will take it from me, and that's why I now gamble occasionally to catch fun with a slim interest rate to make a profit.

This is a unique question. My little efforts were to take action in combating teens blow the age of 18 to not gamble as they do not have the right mindset and they are not fully aware. I tried my best to share banners to local gambling shops and stickers that strikes a bold warning for people under the age of 18 to not enter the local betting shop.

Although most of them still hid and go into gambling but i think a word is enough for the wise. If they choose to remain adamant and don't follow good advice i don't think they would want to stop it at that aga entirely.
What "Blow the age of 18" mean? People who just have their 18th Birthday? Because you know, when we have Birthdays we blow a cake right? But, if they are now 18 then why not when 18 is the most common legal age for risky acts like gambling?

I appreciate your effort there but I believe shops already have those. They do also care for the people even though more customers means more income from them. Kids can hide or sneak from their parents but they still can't enter the shop if there are guards there that asks the customers ID. It's normal for an underage to rebel but we can discipline them if needed and as the time passes by, they will now mature and realized their mistakes. [/list]

Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?

In my case, since the first day I started gambling, I have always been very careful not to become dependent on gambling, also since my first day in gambling, I have always chosen to have good money management. banking, it's true that I had some small problems in my first week gambling, things like betting and being anxious about the result and after losing I was disappointed, things like being very optimistic when I made a bet and when I lost I was disappointed, but After a week of playing I realized that I should stop playing and should only come back when I could play without having any emotions during the game.

What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?

In my case, I didn't see any minors playing, but I could see the news in my country saying that minors were playing in the slot machines spread across every corner of my country. Fortunately I have not personally seen my country's children playing, but if I had seen my country's children playing, then I would have reported it to my country's police.

Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler?

yes, over the years playing, I was able to see and change some small mistakes I made

It can be said that I have always been responsible in gambling and ready whatever it is to lose in the casino because for me it is to be ready under any circumstances.
Never increase the betting odds to win the more chased the more difficult it is.

Online casinos are indeed difficult to combat underage players because unlimited access allows them to play at any time, while to ask for verification he might outsmart with many things including the parental documents they submit, while now there are still many casinos without KYC so underage people will easily play online casinos.

Yes, those are two important factors we must be literate about the finances we have because if we don't control it, it will be drained.
Social awareness is important that gambling should not be displayed in public.

I've always been a responsible gambler from the very beginning because I was privileged to have responsible gamblers who where were kind enough to tutor me about being responsible in gambling. So I never exceeds my gambling budget no matter how excited I become while gambling, this has been a guiding principle for me.

I've seen underaged gamblers in bet shops and people seems to mind their business, including the shop operators, I've spoken to a few, then I started to overlook too. You could guess that they're between 15 to 17 years, but of course you don't see like 10 or 12 years kids coming to gamble, that'll be unacceptable by any sane person. There's nothing much that we can do about underaged gamblers in online casinos, if i have suspicions then i can caution the young person about the risks of what they're engaging in.

I've always known the importance of having a budget for my expenditures, what is not in the list is not a priority. I not only gamble the amount that I can afford to loose, I never gamble more than the percentage that I have mapped out for gambling.

Yes, I still try to be a responsible gambler. This forum taught me a lot about being a responsible gambler and allowed me to gain more experience in gambling. In this forum, we learn not only about gambling games but also how to become responsible gamblers.

Many of us always advise using money we can afford to lose to gamble, which is absolutely true. But we will still find it difficult to win from gambling because gambling is just a place to have fun. We can only enjoy gambling as entertainment and nothing more.

We can advise the younger generation not to get too involved in gambling, especially since they still cannot control themselves well. We can teach them about responsibility in other things before they get into gambling, and that is a good provision for them. Apart from trying to be a gambler who is not excessive, we also try to be a gambler who is more financially literate and socially aware. We always advise those who need it so that they can use gambling as entertainment only.

Back then before joining this forum, I never even knew there would be a community where people of similar interests in this case gambling would come together to discuss the issues, solutions and proper means of gambling in the society. All I knew back then was that gambling was a risk so many young people take to provide for them selfs and that's what I saw in my local area and country. The possibility of combating gambling addiction for the young ones is very low as so many of them are influenced by wrong friends, and peers. The only means I think they can be stoped at a young age is if they have good parents that at least knows what being responsible means.

Secondly, addiction has never been a thing to me. And when I gamble online(mostly on sports) I make sure I don't put too much into my activities if I'm not too certain of a win as I've lost so much to rash bets decisions. Gambling is fun and not funny at same time so if one must take actions he must be willing to loss and be responsible for it. Avoiding Being addicted is the best way to be responsible.

I have always been a responsible gambler in my opinion cause I learned the importance of money the hard way so I am not going to spend too much on gambling that makes me responsible and I am always rational so I am never thinking of ways to beat the house cause its not possible.

I don't bother cause they know what they are doing is not allowed and it is their parent's job to monitor their kids activity and in this internet era it is impossible to find their real face.

I cannot say as well that I’m an irresponsible gambler since I don’t take borrowed funds to gambling, and I only gamble on my own spare money, so most likely I can also say that I’m responsible enough. And I think being responsible with my expenses, that keeps me in tract with my gambling funds, and helps me to manage my small losses and increase my chances of winning.

Now with regards to underage gambling in my locality, I don’t think I can do something with that, except to raise awareness that gambling won’t be good in the long run if you are gambling irresponsibly. But maybe with their early experience, they will also realized that later on so no worries with that.

Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
Ethical, maybe and responsible I guess. But I can't stand for some moments when I have to do some unnecessary decisions that are triggering my emotions. It's not about my increased odds of winning but probably taking the chance that there's got some twist to happen and I am anticipating what shouldn't happen and vice versa sometimes. I do somethings that I know is wrong in betting the opposite team, so maybe that counts? as if it's an actual gamble that I am believing with some possible twist but I know that odds or chance of winning won't change.

What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
I have thought of others welfare before but when the time that I was just concerned with those folks, and yet they've flamed me and blamed me for their losses because I was so talkative and always giving them reminders as their elder and guide. I was off and started to avoid any kind of argument on what potentially can happen to them if they will gamble at the wrong period of their lives while they're young. I just let happen what should happen for themselves and they should be the one to learn their own lessons the hard way.

Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler?
I guess so, with how I control my spending habits and budget for gambling. I think that helped me from there to become more aware on how I should budget my bankroll and also spend if ever I win big.

Sometimes I just think that when you say responsible gambler, you don't do things that a gambler shouldn't do. Is not gambling good enough to be considered a responsible gambler?

A thought that sometimes confuses me too is: if you can be considered a responsible gambler, do you have a limit on the amount you gamble? even though you know you always lose at gambling?

If you are not screwing your budget due to gambling, then, one way or another, you are already being responsible in terms of financial aspect. Now, you need to look at other angles, such as if you are still going to work on time, or your gambling doesn't affect any of your responsibility at home. So in my opinion, if gambling doesn't affect your usual day to day life as well as your financial aspect, then, I would say, you are more than likely a responsible gambler.

      • Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
I think this question is a funny one because if you should ask a gambler that is addicted a question like this he may just claim he is a responsible gambler. I have always been a responsible gambler because I do not believe gambling is a source of income which I need to depend on. The reason why people found it very difficult to be responsible gambler is because they feel the easiest way of generating money to play gambling all the time. Being a responsible gambler is mindset and a good understanding of how gambling works, then I believe it will be easy to be a responsible gambler.

I have become more responsible over the past years.

      • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
I don't know, since I did gambled when I was underage or not yet at the right age. But this time, maybe with simple reminders telling that they should get a job first and don't gamble with their parent's money.

Literate in a sense that I can control myself but that didn't came from gambling but more from investing to Bitcoin.

      1. Im sure that im responsible but there are moments i do find myself having that kind of seeking ways or strategies on making myself having that increase of winning rate.  Cool
      2. I dont mind much because this is something that could be stopped personally but if i do find someone whose underage then he/she would definitely be taking up some words or advises from me
but if we do speak about online then it would really be that impossible on knowing peoples age considering that they are playing on their own pc and facing up those screens. So it would be that not possible.
      3. Of course, i didnt come into a point that i had messed up my finances due to gambling because i've been wary about the risks involved of it.

As long you do find yourself that having that awareness and that sense of being responsible with your actions. Never ever you would really be putting up yourself
into such possible gambling problems. It would really be just that depending on a certain individual.

      • Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
I'm not entirely responsible, I do acts in some ways that are irresponsible by not really analysing the game properly which  is just acting lazy or probably after a long day though I usually choose the better odds of winning when I'm really serious to gamble, I take my time on this.

Actually I don't really gamble often to consider myself as fully as a gambler, I just place bet with money I can possibly lose and laugh on it. I guess that's why I don't usually bother about analysing just more curious about playing various games, though I have been advised to stop virtual games but that's were I usually find more fun and so I just continue.

Though I see myself as a financial literate in gambling or one tending to it because I spend time reading replies of forum members about gambling discussion off such and either learned from their mistakes or advise and also correct my misconception on any area I get wrong through their replies.

Yes, I have. My gambling activities have been very organised, I properly manage my bankroll, and I have also learned how to control my feelings, not allowing my emotions to affect my decisions. I also don’t even chase losses.

Aside from here on this forum, where I give advice to newbie gamblers whenever one arises, I don’t think I have ever taken any personal steps to reshape or stop underage children from gambling; I just like minding my business and retaining my self-respect.

I think so, because over time I have learned how not to allow the environment I found myself to affect how I think or how I gamble. I also don’t allow my greed to affect me too much, like trying to increase my wager amount, thinking I will make more profit from the game if I place the bet with a higher amount.

      - I am more responsible than I used to be, that's for sure, but I don't see any connections with ethics here, I was and I am a fair player... I guess we all search for better odds of winning, but in gambling that is a neverending search, even if we find some good strategy it works only for a while.

      - When talking to younger or older people, I am always completely honest about gambling. I always mention all the dangers of gambling and I try to explain to them what responsible gambling means and how to stick to that.

      - I guess we all learn something after years of gambling, but I can't say that I become more financially literate just because of gambling.

      1. I guess I would say Yes to that because I tend to stay in control while gambling and even if I take unexpected losses then I don't fear but stay calm try to handle the situation in my own way.

      2. I have always adviced the underage to stay away from gambling and try to make them learn the bad side of gambling.
They need to be educated about gambling first instead of directly making them avoid gambling.

      3. Ofcourse, over the years the experience that I have gained has made me more aware of how to handle a given situation.

Bold to you to assume that we were all irresponsible gamblers or gamblers who try to trick the system using different formats. Aside my religion which teaches me to ethics, I am always guided by my conscience. I know how the casino functions, the house always win isn't so, I play by their rules while being guided by my betting strategies.

I haven't done anything big thing to combat underaged gambling in my society other than telling my younger cousins to avoid the local bet shops whenever the opportunity presents itself. Why they ask? I point them to a local whose gambling addiction ruined his life and now stays on the street to begging passersby. That's their motivation to stay away.

"Use a small percentage of your income to gamble", "Have a gambling budget", "Bankroll, bet size", etc. are concepts that I got to understand very well being on this board. It hasn't been smooth but I am getting better with time.

I have never spent so much money to gamble, neither has gambling come  in-between me and my job, my relationships and other aspects of my life. It is safe to say, I have never been an irresponsible gambler and have never had the compulsion to gamble when I'm not supposed to. I bet sometimes on sports and this is usually because of some friendly arguments between I and my friends. This I am able to achieve because I have a job, good hobbies and friends that keep my mind busy all the time.

      • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?

I come from a region where underaged gambling is prohibited. Anyone and everyone has the right to send underaged children away from casinos and other gambling platforms. The problem lies with kids who gamble online in their closet as it is often difficult to know what they are up to. It is the duty of every conscious adult to teach the children the right values and the potential consequences of violating them. I am one of those adults who let underaged children know the dos and don'ts of life, including gambling. I believed those little admonitions from me has helped most children around me maintain boundaries.

Due to the many stories about irresponsible gambling and gambling addiction, I have developed a strong sense of consciousness towards it, and I do not want to end up as a problem gambler for myself and my family.

      • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
My actions are not so big but can be effective because I have spoken to other gamblers my age who I know have children growing up under their care. There is a need to keep a proper eye on your children, making sure not to gamble in front of them, and also monitor their activities online so that these children do not start gambling online without your knowledge.

i can say that i am now more responsible in my gambling and not too aggressive to increase my bet when i find a series of losses. it may be because the longer i think that if i can not control my gambling then i will always be an irresponsible gambler, and therefore as much as possible i arrange so that i can gamble according to the rules that i have set and not exceed the limits.

I understand responsible gaming as a game of long-term risk limitation. In other words, a responsible player is one who knows how to control his risks. You know, there are fairly simple rules to avoid getting into financial disaster and to ensure that you always have capital, time and motivation to continue playing. And the most important rules are to limit the size of bets and the number of bets over a certain period of time. This allows you not to lose much.
As for financial literacy, it can be understood in different ways. I have seen proposals even in schools to introduce lessons on financial literacy. But, as for me, different people put too different meanings into this concept. In fact, there is still no clear definition of financial literacy.

Yes! the thing is that if you do this correctly over a long period of time, you won't see this as gambling alone but an opportunity to expand from yourself. However we have different psychology and most people cannot handle the same stress and level of thinking necessary to keep the mentality. You need not only to be carefree of money or have a probabilistic mindset but also the resilience over the tough times.

If you want and edge on this industry, you need to meet new people, those who are more informed or well connected. So you can learn from them too. And you also need to give value back, that's why you also need to learn new things of how money works.

As it should be, a professional gambler should be financially literate and socially conscious and aware of his status in the environment.
Every gambler must know how technology develops, how gambling is increasingly developing,

We strive to become a responsible and ethical gambler but the temptation to increase your odds of winnings is just too hard to lose and I may add the temptation to chase our losses is also hard to beat, but as long as you are not doing this every time you gamble and you sometimes take a risk then you are good to go.

[1] I have always been a responsible gambler, and I'm still gambling without any pressure, and I still believe it will continue that way as I don't see myself losing control of gambling.

[2] I haven't taken any direct physical action to reduce underage gambling in my area, but I have given my little relatives advice towards that to the best of my ability, trying to change that mentality that most of them have that gambling is the easiest way to escape poverty, which is part of the reason most of them start gambling at an early age.

[3] When it comes to gambling, I'm very cautious of what I spend, as I consider that whatever amount I'm wagering is automatically a waste of resources, so I don't treat it as something serious, and I don't spend much money on gambling in the hope of expecting something big or even making a budget as a result of an expected winning.

The big question is, who is a responsible gambler or what does it mean to be a responsible gambler. For me a responsible gambler is a person that knows when to stop, especially when the odds are not in your favour. Increasing your winning odds just as you said OP, doesn't guarantee winning, if your prediction always comes out 2 odds and it's been working for you, I will suggest you stick to what works for you.

As for the underage gambling, I think it has been a collective effort from most adults to help fight it, I've seen a situation where a little of boy was sent by his father to go to a gambling shop to help play games he had already booked with code, when the little boy entered the shop, he gave the front desk officer the booking code his father gave him, immediately the adults that where there started shouting at the boy,  telling him to go back and call his father, even the front desk guy rejected the booked game. So for me, we can fight against underage gambling collectively, as it shouldn't be a one man thing.

Lastly, I can only gamble with what I can afford to lose, so i do my risk management whenever I want to gamble because it's 50/50.

People are predicting the most favorite matches on this this? I do not think so. What I noticed is that people predict the clubs that are most likely to win but you know how match can be, even an underdog can win its opponent which is better than the underdog. Any matches can fail someone to lose a bet.

Underage gambling is prohibited and thumbs up for Government for being strict here, even the casinos are quite strict when it comes to underage. What I hate us the online platform that is so soft that only requirements sometime is email which make underage so easy to register.

To be honest, the more I read and learn gambling information, the more the more I become interested in it. I am more than confident in my firm position; I am unlikely to turn out to be a dependent person, but it becomes more interesting to try my chances of winning. As for explaining gambling to the younger generation, I, as a parent, of course, show examples of bad stories. And the way this is explained will form in children’s minds. But the third question is unclear to me; if a person initially calculates his budget, he will also be careful with his gaming preferences.

Yes, since gambling is more about managing the risk, I have become more matured in managing my funds, and I always follow the principle to gamble only what I can afford to lose so it will not affect my other activities in life, like the main one.

There shouldn't be much difference of opinion about the three questions above, but let's see what I can say about them:
      • I don't mind my winnings or losses on a bet, whatever I accept without having to complain about the results. Self-control and budgeting when it comes to gambling is part of responsible gambling, so my answer is definitely YES.
      • Do not post anything that interests young people about gambling on social media, including big wins or anything related to gambling.
      • Yes, I don't gamble anywhere. Of course I have been implementing this for a long time and of course for personal reasons and also my social relations with society. Most online gamblers here play secretly, they cannot gamble in public places when the government does not legalize gambling. Awareness of the huge risk of loss makes me more strict in managing my gambling budget, meaning I only gamble when I really want to.

1.I have managed to start gambling responsible after some years of addiction that I suffered.
I like to see people that quit gambling addiction. It is nice seeing this. I have also been addicted before and I later stop the addiction which make life and everything better for me. Not that gambling is bad but we should not be get addicted to it which is what that is very bad.

      2. Underage gambling is not my responsibility to combat because these underage children hide to gamble and they will never let anyone know they are gambling. If it happens that I see any underage talking about gambling or trying to gamble, I do sit them down and enlighten them about the consequences of gambling and that they should face their studies and have a career first before anything.
What I have just known is that there is no how underage gambling can stop. If you know an underage person, just ask him that are some of the students in his class gambling, the answer will be yes if he tells you the truth. They are even gambling among themselves without going to betting shops or gambling online.

all this question you've asked here have been repeatedly asked and people have aired out thier views in multiple of ways to the best of thier ability and the generally thing you can take out from those views is that you're primarily responsible for your gambling journey. Regardless of the tunes of advice you see here regarding responsible gambling, if you don't make a conscious decision to gamble the right way, you're going to end up getting addicted even while you have all the knowledge there is to get.

At some point, it's not even about the age of the gambler or your ability to becoming a literate at gambling. It's about knowing that excess of everything is bad and you need to moderate in all things we're doing. One of the issue we have in our society is to tag a thing as something that's totally bad even when we know that people must get themselves involved in those thing. And what's the implication of such things, you end up making people to engage in such act in secret battling so many things in there own that they can't openly tell a third party because of fear of being being judged and addiction becomes inevitable in the process.

      3. Yea, of course discipline is very important in gambling and that will help you be a responsible gambler and you will not care about your losses or allow your emotions to control you since you are not betting with an amount that you cannot afford to lose. That alone will make you happy and socialize with people freely.

First, I am a very responsible gambler. Even I can not call myself a gambler because I spend little time weekly on gambling. I see gambling not as a way to earn money. I only do it just in some minutes or like 1 or 2 hours during weekend, or when I feel like doing it during the weekdays.

The underage people are very smart. You can see them use their father's or mother's identity to get verified on a gambling site without even their parents knowing. If you are in my country, you will see signboards with gambling ads. You will see ads on local YouTube videos and TV channels. If you go to betting agents, just stay there for a long time, you will suspect some people may be 16 or 17 years. Some betting ages just do not care because no one has been arrested for allowing underage people to bet in their shops. The government do not care because all they care for is tax.

Without gambling, I am financially literate. If it is about gambling, I am socially conscious about it. Just my friends know that I am gambling. I do not even go to betting agent for anything like that because I have my laptop and phone which even make gambling better for me in having privacy.

Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
I think so. All I do is rest whenever my budget to gamble is done. Well, when it comes to odds, I don't go too crazy x5 to x10 for just a single bet for one team because that can be a crazy bet and it's percentage to win is low. I'd rather make a parlay or a same-game multi and put a little bit of money on it. IMO, that have a higher chance to win than in a single super underdog.

What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
Nothing. I don't know who they are. I don't see any underage gambling in our place personally but I did hear some rumors about it.

Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler?
I think more about the money. That's what changed when I became a gambler. And a disciplined one to control myself not to deposit again after losing the amount that is for gambling purposes only. When I win big amounts, I don't think twice about withdrawing, I do it as fast as I can and exit the money from the gambling site. Socially conscious? Nah. Do you mean what people may say about my gambling habits? I don't really care much about it because I know to myself that I am not crossing the line.

Not answering all the questions but I have some answers for gambling behavior, I knew about gambling since I was a child and first played it when I was under 18 and I knew it was illegal, even the game was then also illegal to play locally (it was a slot machine). But the process of growing up has many life lessons that make me realize that gambling is just a pure entertainment game, but in the face of greed, it can easily be corrupted and cause that person to fall. It just depends on each player's perception whether they really understand those things or simply approach them as a lead from outside social factors. I also come into contact with a lot of people who are addicted to gambling but perhaps through them I have also seen the valuable lesson that responsibility follows behavior.

In any case, no one forces anyone to do anything according to their nature, in the face of fear and control from ordinary manipulations, we can justify everything around us that controls us with gambling, I just consider it an entertainment game. Even using money as a means is just something we accept to participate in the game.

      • Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
I think so because my gambling today depends on the rules that I have made, with boundaries, with the principle of gambling properly, and being able to stabilize emotions well without having to spend more money to gamble, because I want to get a win, on average my gambling today is regular, and I think it falls into responsible gambling.

      • What small actions have you taken to combat underage gambling in your locality or online?
One of them is, not talking about or showing gambling activities in front of minors who deserve to be gamblers, this may be trivial but most will imitate what adults do, it is also a conservative step in protecting children in our environment, besides that it is also like talking to the parents that the child interacts with gambling, this is also a form of concern and the parents will educate them much better after knowing that their children interact with gambling.

      • Have you become a more financially literate and socially conscious gambler?
Of course finance is a major thing in life and socializing, because if not with good financial arrangements it will lead to bad results, especially if we interact with gambling, most gamblers are poor and many become poor, of course this will have a bad impact on the social stigma about us and gambling itself that gambling can be disastrous, but if we are financially healthy maybe that stigma will not exist.

      • Have you become a responsible and ethical gambler, or do you still find subtle ways to increase your odds of winning?
Seems you are mistaken responsible gambling for being about your gambling even in a losing strategy.  This is not responsible gambling as being strict in a wrong approach is rather irresponsibility because responsible gambling requires that an individual will be able to protect the capital and never to gamble with amount that one cannot afford to lose. Being flexible to adjust your game in order to increase the winning odds is being smart and responsible and not the other way round.
