you may or may not get that to work.

it may not need help for exhaust or it may need it.

the length of the tube leaving the box out the window is very important.

the ambient room temperature of input air is important.

Ie 3 boxes like your photo in a 0c (32f) garage would be fine even if the tubes to the window are more then 6 feet

but 3 boxes like your photo in a 30c (86f) garage would most likely over heat without help to pull air through the tube

also  size of tube matters  10 inch size for 1 t17 should be good with no help   5 inch size too small needs a helping fan.

inside of tube is important

ie great tube for air flow due to size and inside shape allow for easy air flow

not so great tube due to size and inside shape it resists air flow

here is a compromise tube

https://www.homedepot.com/p/Master-Flow-Mobile-Home-12-in-x-25-ft-Insulated-Flexible-Duct-R4-2-Black-Jacket-MIF12X300/202191788

nice and big so it does not restrict air flow that much

in all cases above longer tube may trap heat without some fan help

lastly  a tube that points upward to the window gets help from the hot air rises rule (convection).

do you really need exhaust fan?

i also build some boxes for my T17 miners. i only place the miner in the middle and make sure the output air cant get back to the input fans of the miner. the two fans on the back of the miner are enough to pull the air out of the box through elastic tube out of the window.

well   4 fans for hashboards

2 fans for psu.

the hash board fans  move at least 200 cfm each

but they are pointed trough the hashboards

so it is not 4 x 200 = 800

more like 2 x 225 = 450

tack on 50 for the psu fans

you get to 500 cfm

I feel that  500 cfm is pretty close to the top number they can do

Why not do
 a 500 cfm
 a 550 cfm
 a 600 cfm

set of calculations

it will give you 3 box sizes to choose from.

Hello,

Im wondering if anyone know how much air a Antminer S17 pulls/moves, I know it is relative to fan rpm but Im struggling to find anything online about it.

If anyone have a guide or something to how i could calculate it, would be greatly appreciated.

I just started asic mining and im planing on making a soundproofed box to control the noise, need to know how much qubic meters it displaces to calculate what dimensions I need on an exhaust fan.
