Looking at it that way maybe Vitalik now feels very regretful and dirty for doing the hard fork. He has stained his career and his reputation in the cryptosphere. Now what will happen to the slockit team? They are the ones who started and developed the DAO.

Dude, Slock.it might as well burn down the offices and jump off the roof. They had a mildly interesting product offering at best, buoyed up by the PR machine that was ETH. With the DAO quite dead and ETH post fork, Slock has lost any chance that someone will take them seriously. Guilt by association if you will. Also, the conflict of interest with the devs and the DAO and the hard fork, this shit is simply too much.

That was ridiculous. ETC should trade about 5-10% less to ETH by my calculations.

Yes, ETC's price is pumped up a lot! Nothing will guarantee that it will keep moving up. We  should have noticed that the lowest price went to 0.0001BTC! It will possibly  crash to that level at any time in term of investment. Unless you have faith in ETC, buy it for the potential!

Any investment in ETC is speculative at best, at the moment. This thing is so in flux now, that even if you care about the coin, the uncertainty makes the risk completely over the too. I'm holding a few ETC at the moment (less than ten), and it's purely a gamble. I may be better off simply flipping a coin. But I have a hunch I intended to follow.

Hello Minecache! Cheesy

I am only joking. But anyway that does not make sense. Why would you buy all ETC and sell the rest and then burn the others? What are you hoping to achieve? It will not destroy the chain. It is already living without the Ethereum foundation which is in a better position now. Developers from bitcoin will now finally have the opportunity to develop in it without intervention from an authority.
