I personally use JustHost, although my site is not faucet site. Then again, doesn't really matter what kind of site you have, you still need hosting.

NameCheap is the place to go for domains. Never used their hosting though so cannot say anything about that.

Dear Shibashi / Holdaaja,
Thank you very much for your kind reply.
Now I'm clear about cloudflare, all my confusions are gone.

If you guys won't mind, then can you suggest me some hosting company which best fits.

https://www.namecheap.com/hosting/shared.aspx
This is what I used for my faucet. It is very cheap for the first year, starting from 9€
You can also buy domain from thme fo under 1€ so you can start running you own faucet with under 10€ first year.
https://www.namecheap.com/domains/registration/gtld/top.aspx

I've heared a couple positive reviews about namecheap myself... If they don't suit your needs, there are several hosting companies on this very forum (check the service section).

Dear friends,
I want to know something about hosting a faucet.

Is cloudflare a hosting company?

Can I buy "Just The Domain" from somewhere else and host by Cloudflare? Can I do like this?

If I can, then how I will create database?

I'm fully confused at this point.

So your kind help will be highly appreciated.

B. regards

I'll try to give an exhaustive answer to all of your questions:

Is cloudflare a hosting company?

No they aren't. They only offer anti-DDOS service protection for already existing websites.

Can I buy "Just The Domain" from somewhere else and host by Cloudflare? Can I do like this?

You can buy the domain wherever you want (i recommend namecheap.com, you can pay also with BTC there) and point it to whatever IP (server) you want. When you have a website set up and running you can add cloudflare protection to it.
Just sign to cloudflare and fowllow their instructions to setup it.

If I can, then how I will create database?

As said you need a separate hosting to host your website, and that is not cloudflare, cause they do not hoffer hosting. Try Digital Ocean to find cheap VPS for fast and easy use.
When you setup your website you need ssh connection to the terminal and/or use Filezilla like clients to upload your files into your website.

I sent you a PM, i do this kind of jobs for people if you are interested i can setup for you. PM me for more informations. Thanks.

Later I checked with this Whois Lookup Tool and saw my nameservers are pointed to Cloudflare - so is it ok?

You need to buy domain and hosting from some where and then you can add Cloudflare protection to that.

NO, cloudflare is NOT a webhost...
It's a CDN, basically, it'll make your existing site run faster, more secure and use less bandwith...

you'll still need to purchase hosting and a domain name seperately. Some hosting companies do offer "free" domain names when buying a hosting package.

On the plus side, if you install a xapo or faucetbox faucet, i guess the most basic hosting will be good enough... Just basic shared LAMP hosting is sufficient
