You posted in a thread that was trashcanned: "Gambling, Hobby? or Job?"

Thank you hilariousandco for solving the issue.
I knew that my posts & thread aren't got deleted by any mods currently.
So that's way I was wondering about the post count. I didn't had any clue why it is showing wrong count.

Locking the thread now. ISSUE SOLVED!

To all my friends, those who are talking about post and thread deleting.
I currently not got any post deleted nor any of my thread got deleted by mods.

I know that we receive a msg when our post gets deleted.
Once I received a lot of msgs when my posts got deleted from my auction thread. But it was long time ago.
Mods deleted all the "Bumps" & "ups" at that point. We all know that we cannot delete it by our won in auction board.

So my Op is not related to post or thread deleting as far as can I think.

Indirectly. If we look at what OP is talking about, it's not a moderator that deleted his post, which would result in him getting a notification PM, but the thread he posted in got deleted, likely because of its low quality. [...] I would expect a hero member to understand how this forum works, but apparently, that's not the case. Roll Eyes
Technicalities. You don't have to be so anal about it: even I thought it was perfectly acceptable to state that a moderator deleted the post. (By deleting the threads, they delete the posts)
When managers count your posts as unsatisfactory posts, managers will not pay you. Poor quality articles for example, you have to post the article is over 300 words but in your 100 articles are 20 articles are not enough requirements, managers will count for you is 80 Posts are not 100 or your posts have violated any rules to let the mod delete Your posts will not count
Shitposting is not a good way of ranking up your account. If you've been around before then you know this, and you know that reading OP's post is also a very good idea when you're replying to it. When you start talking about a completely different issue, everybody knows that you're just posting garbage.

If you guys notice, these past few weeks, many here are decreasing count of posts and I have read one here that from Full Member, he went back to Member rank. My thinking is that moderators from all section of this forum had a "clean up" about topics posted. So if you posted in a thread that mod thinks a troll, unwanted, non sense, etc topic and they deleted it. your posts count will be decreased as well,

Pinoyden gets it right. Your post were deleted by the Moderators.
Indirectly. If we look at what OP is talking about, it's not a moderator that deleted his post, which would result in him getting a notification PM, but the thread he posted in got deleted, likely because of its low quality.

When mods trash threads, your post count goes down silently, which means that you aren't getting that notification, and this perfectly connects to why OP doesn't know what's actually going on here.

I would expect a hero member to understand how this forum works, but apparently, that's not the case. Roll Eyes

My post count went down overnight too.  I could care less.  This is the mods doing a fantastic
job cleaning up the detritus around here.  The only ones who fret about post counts are sig
spammers, so just sit quietly and take it.  There's nothing you can do, and if you've read any
of the threads in meta, you'd realize what's happening.

But that's the problem.  People are so busy posting that they don't read anything.  It's sad.

Pinoyden gets it right. Your post were deleted by the Moderators. This normally happens when they are actively moderating the threads that was task to them.

I was able to experience this one before not just my post was deleted but I also get a warning from the Mods about my posts that are not relevant to the topic. So you just have to first make sure that your post relates to the general topics. Or make sure as well that if you are quoting someones comment that comment and yours also still relates to the topic

Hi Guys,
I am little bit confuse about my post count.
It is maybe my mistake or maybe an error which I don't know yet. Just want to discuss to find a answer.

Today I applied in a sig. campaign.
During apply I wrote my post count as 791 (Its my mistake maybe, I wrote it wrong)
But Yahoo wrote my post count as 790 in the spreadsheet (this is not a mistake I think, because campaign managers checks everything very deeply)
And my current post count shows 791 in my profile.

I became confuse in here.
After applying in the campaign I made 2 more posts.
So my current post count should show either 793 or 792. But it is showing 791

My question is,
It is a error of our forum or somebody deleted my post?
Or anything else which I don't know yet?

edit: Now my post count in my profile is 792 due to this post.

probably your post recently was got deleted  by moderators and you didnt notice it before you apply on a campaign or maybe you mistakenly count your current post count before writing it on the application form. although sometimes the manager were responsible to this error.
