I always experience the platform published on this forum. Operators with green credibility always bring their fairness and liquidity to the users when they win. Don't try to experience new unverified platforms or proof of payment for that platform.

I do not think a regulating body is necessary for  crypto gambling. we already have stuff like provable fair gambling and other methods for checking frauds.
We should just regulate more with codes and less with humans for the sake decentralization.
Regulating crypto gambling doesn't kill decentralization I think, its really for the sake of every gamblers. It should be regulated on the right way, we have to be more safe because cryptomarket are more prone to hackers and if there's no regulation then we can't be sure that our money is safe.
Regulations will just force gamblers to show their personal informations and difficult the work for casino operators. There are enough legit casinos without any regulation, so why to introduce it in crypto gambling too? People who want to play at regulated casinos can try fiat casinos, there are plenty of them.
Better to have different options to play: if you want to play at a regulated one, you can, if you want to play at a unregulated one, you have this option too.

But that doesn't do anything if there's no other sort of regulation, provably fair is only as good as the person verifying it and ensuring that it's done correctly. People could simply say that they're probably fair, fake the checking app on their site, and then everyone is screwed because they never verified themselves.

I'd want these casinos to have to put up some sort of bond to their regulating government, which could be liquidated if need be to satisfy stolen money from customers -- this would be to help weed out the scams. Force people to have some skin in the game.

I think regulation of casino is also like ico too who are different and independent from each. Basically, crypto dealings have not been regulated and this can say more that online businesses are hardly regulated.
Its not that hard to regulate, we just need to know who will regulate that online casino. I believe in every country there should be a regulating body, good online gambling usually have their own license to operate its fair enough if they follow all the rules but we don’t know the transactions under the table. Gambling site online should also be regulated and they need to be registered.
It should be but the fact that there are gambling sites that are on top now which arent licensed but still able to get on the top of the market share.

Licensing might matter or not on some gamblers but the important thing is that its being trusted by the community and that thing do matters on me anytime.

Makes me wonder why do you need help from the regulators. I know this makes it easy and you can be lazy and not do any research and choose a regulated site. If anything happens you will write a complaint. But what if the complaint does nothing? You will have a false sense of security that regulators can protect you but many times they can't or they won't.
It is a tough job for them neither. It is a big challenge for them to track every single transaction in an anonymous community.
Regulating bodies will it looks worthless in this form of environment. Definitely, they can't do their best to solve the problem arises since before and its formulating bodies will turn into nothing.

Online gambling is very popular nowadays, specially those who also uses crypto for playing. With this popularity, there's ton of gambling sites/operators available. But the problem is who to trust? who plays fair and pays fair?

Are there any regulating bodies that verifies, rates, and promotes gambling sites that is genuinely fair to its customers? Not just on fair plays but also gambling sites that protects its customers identity etc. Thank you.
every gambling site has a provably fair and that guarantees that they have a system that suits what they say. for those who verify, of course each player can do that.
because in crypto there is no regulator like the government, anyone can verify gambling site, assess and rate that site. You can see it in some review about gambling sites in google

Definitely, it won't. Only the regulating bodies can do is to minimize scammers or fake site but in regards into market prices will obviously pretty hard.
Anyways, we and the community itself never wanted to be regulated in the first place and this regulating bodies will making no sense at all. Being in decentralized form will looks great and we can make more profits rather to the market than everything we do there is someone that will stop.
We live this since before and there is nothing need to change, only we asked is to wipe out all fakes ICO's.

Some gambling sites have a provably fair system to check all the bettings, but about the sites operations and customer's identification, it is on the country where they are operating, we have this in our country and people can check the office for verification.

He could just use the regulated casinos (especially the fiat based ones) if he prefers regulation. Reputable
Cryptocurrency based gambling sites have been able to sort this issue out with provable fair and the use of blockchain.

Your playing with fire by gambling with cryptos if its illegal where you live.

That's surely be a problem if the implementation is really strict.

Even more so it is important to do your own research when deciding to deposit your coins into a casino.
To my knowledge there are no real regulatory bodies and always be careful with what you read on here.

This is gambling in crypto space, and lack of regulation is one of the reason why the crypto gambling industry prosper.
However, as it prosper, that also increase the risk since lots fake sites and scammers taking advantage, therefore research is always important prior to playing.

Check reviews coming from trusted members of this forum, and also check any complaints from the scam sections players usually post their experiences in various gambling sites that they are playing take note of that even small complains, from there you will get the big picture if the gambling sites deserve your trust.

I think there are reviews that you can search online or find in forums such as this, and that could aid you in verifying or validating. Reputation plays a big part - surely if a gambling site has a sketchy history, people would talk about it so better keep your ears open for that. So far, I don't think that there are any other regulating bodies which makes verification because of the conflict among jurisdictions. The best a customer could do is due diligence and research on the background of the gambling site or operator.

There are tons of gambling site reviews that you can google up to see for yourself the validity and fairness of each site, I am not pinning any link because you can research on it yourself, And because gambling site can surely come and go you will sure base only with reviews and having a trustful thinking with your favorite site that it is truly legit, Well their reputation is on the line so you should see that consider reporting gambling sites that have scam accusation and problem with their fairness to be reported in the forum so others can see and be aware of it,

Well I don't know if there are regulating bodies that are keeping tabs on a gambling sites activities and recording their every move, There are tons of review about a certain gambling sites but you can not call them regulating bodies, I would like to call them volunteer bodies, Because they are doing it for the love and support and not for something else.

It's almost impossible to have a regulatory body for online crypto casinos because they are not bound by regions. Crypto casinos can be operated from any countries so the best way to see its legitimacy is to check if a casino is licensed in their country or not. ALl license crypto casinos usually show their company name and license number in their website which can be validated through the company directory of their respective countries. That's the first level of validation anyone can do.

Second level validation is mainly the reputation check. Looks for their official thread in big forums like bitcointalk and go through the recent comments. You will definitely get an idea about what's going on. These reputation check will give you a very good overview about a particular casino and you can accordingly decide whether you want to go ahead with them or not!

if gambling is illegal on a  certain country then the gambling site was also banned not unless a gambler will use some kind of anonymous tools such as vpn . on gambling there are also regulations especially if the kind of gambling that you are playing with is not a blockchain based a.k.a centralized  . most of us will only prefer decentralized gambling because it does not need any identifications such as kyc's  and aml's  .

That's not regulated just yet, but maybe it will be in the future if crypto will become mainstream.

Your biggest bet would be to do your own research before using any of crypto betting sites. For now. Nobody can guarantee you anything.
The only regulations we have now is what me and you are doing.  Cryptocurrencies business (trading,  gambling and investment)  is about trust and we did not need regulations.  We have many gambling sites here that has been in existence and most of them has been paying us our earnings and that is what matters and not government regulations.

I think the reason why they are increasing and they offers best service to us because they are not regulated.
There are gambling sites that are regulated but they are more strict, they want us to pass the KYC before gambling and I don't like that idea.
Honestly, I would rather gamble in site that is not license but has gain good reputation in the space as we can preserve our privacy with them.

To avoid scam, it's best to research the site, read some feedback, that would help a lot in choosing the good ones.

All these casinos operate from small countries with next to no regulation.  The only way to ever regulate it on a meaningful level all countries in the world would have to agree on a set of laws which is unlikely to happen.

I think that such regulation would have come from the regulation of cryptocurrency itself because that will be a model for regulation of any crypto project including that of casino but that does not exist for now.

Maybe but I don't think that regulation can fully apply in the cryptocurrency, but I don't know. Maybe regulating will be good for cryptocurrency but I still thinking of how to apply that regulation since cryptocurrency is not bonded to the governments. I don't know either if the casino was regulating because so far, I only play the games like the other gamblers.

Having a regulatory body for online crypto casinos will not be easy at all, Don’t forget that some of this gambling sites operate from Caribbean island, and  I would have suggested that the best way to know trusted gambling sites is to check for the ones who are licensed in their regions but most licensed casino sites would demand for KYC and this is what most gamblers hate to hear. And some are licensed but yet reputable, so we still can’t judge by that.

If you have fear of been scammed, then I advise you carry out a good research before  you play on any site, For me the way I judge a reputable site is on how long it has existed and the reviews on the site, but  a regulatory body for crypto casino is never going to happen.

I do not think a regulating body is necessary for  crypto gambling. we already have stuff like provable fair gambling and other methods for checking frauds.
We should just regulate more with codes and less with humans for the sake decentralization.
Exactly mate. Even on this forum it would be easy to get a reputable casino site. So if anyone is in doubt of a casino site he can easily bring it up and would get help as soon as possible. If regulatory body works for another things it’s definitely not going to work with casino sites because with the history of gambling and how the site is created most of them operate illegally.

The funny thing is some of the sites that would actually be reliable, because they are licensed, gamblers would not like to play on it because of some of its rules that might not be suitable for them. For example every site that is licensed must ask for kyc at withdrawal in their site but who would want to do this, irrespective of how genuine the site might be?

There is no central authority here due to the anonymous nature of crypto itself and no one would prefer such a regulated entity, but there is an organization which promotes various popular casinos which have proven to be reliable over time.

Organization : https://cryptogambling.org/

Move this topic to Gambling Discussion asap op.

somehow there is such as the Caribbean island-based regulatory body to which one of them is Curaçao eGaming. one project that is registered to them was EOSbet. i don't know if we can consider a platform to be an regulatory body like the EOSio because as far as i know they list projects that the foundation support making them legitimate.

Yeah I do agree with your point stating about regions or you mean the jurisdiction in every legal aspects it may be hard to implement regulations if you want the government to do it. But, there are other ways to regulate online betting platforms and that is to hire a third party service to ensure the betting platform operation and will help and protect the clients or users of a betting platform.

However, this is just a case if we think that regulations is really needed. For now, online betting platform are operating and working well. I do not have even made a complain to an online casino betting platform I was in. I was having a good choice.

Regulation mostly made by government.
If your government is agree with crypto, they can made the regulation in order to protect crypto gambler.
Gambling company will register in your country and it will undergo government jurisdictions which made a regulation to protect customer and the owner as well. Once cryptocurrency is allowed in your country then online gambling site using crypto will be fine, as long as they have a permit to operate by their gambling site. Now, we have a regulating body on gambling to make it sure that both parties are doing fair the operator and the customers. Actually here in the forum, there's a lot of crypto gambling site which having fair and trustworthy site due to longer running business.

I don't really get why you should be asking this question, when there are already a lot of good gambling around that you can bet on. There are sites with good reputation already, unless you're going for new sites that haven't been around for long, that's your choice. Just check out online casinos like Fortune Jack, CloudBet and 7Bit Casino.

The three of them are really good and they even offer you bonus after you sign up, which includes free Btc and some free free spins. Fortune Jack is the number one on the list, you should check it out cause it has gained a good reputation for itself already.

That is not happening anytime soon. The government will only do this to impose high taxes on the gambling winnings. Instead, an open community can be established to regulate the gambling sites. Sites which have no history should be marked as unsafe for the gamblers. Every site should be verified by this body for possible shady activities or their bankroll to make sure they're serious about the business.

But what if the government already forbid crypto from the beginning ?
That's an endless discussion.

There are no such thing as regulating bodies that can forcefully implement anything.
There are individual reviewers and comparisons but they too shouldn't be fully trusted as they might be doing paid promotions.
Some good individuals of this forum has created several thread to compare different types of gambling site, it would be a much better and neutral view than found on any other websites.
Yes you're right, there is no regulating when we are talking about anything that has to do with cryptocurrency, only people take the risk and review the sites to tell if they are good or not. When I was looking for a gambling site to make use of, I searched it up by making use of Google and saw list of good casinos with good reputation. They were being reviewed by the site and even some comments there were proving whether they are legit or not. There are good casinos, just don't trust these news ones popping out from nowhere.

Thank you.
I heard there are only a little gambling site that really fair. But i only use famous gambling site to play and not think about fair or no fair as long i bet normally and not really think if lose.

No one is going to regulate online crypto gambling but you can check the legitimacy of bets on any gambling sites then you can find it they are playing provably fair or any other cheating involved.Don't give your identity to anyone if you are not comfortable, nothing in this world can be completely trusted.

As long as you can choose the right gambling websites and it's recommended by many gamblers, I think it is fine to trust that site. I think they will be fair to all of their members and I don't think they will cheat them because once they get caught of cheating the members, they will lose trust from the members.

Regulating will be good for the gambling site because, with the regulations, the members will get protection if somehow the gambling site cheats them. But I think it's difficult to regulate the gambling site because the site is on the internet and it's different than the real casino which operates in one country.

For crypto gambling there is no regulatory body, crypto is decentralised and all of the gamblers likes the decentralised crypto gambling because they don't need to submit any data and can gamble without the fear of identity leak, I don't think there will be any crypto gambling that got regulatory body, once the gambler know its centralised then they will find another gambling site, usually people will choose the most trusted site to gamble, so most of the people choose the site by reputation and review by the trusted gambler

Regulating body will depend on the country of the gambling site, i think they are still a registered business and SEC are regulating them. Every trusted gambling sites are paying taxes, so I think they are someone who regulates them. Promoting gambling has no regulations at all, but the operations it must be legal.
Yes, they needed to be registered inside the countries jurisdictions in order to facilitate the business, after registering they need to pay everything that the countries rulings is requiring them, it will gather more trust form the gamblers if they provide those regulatory obligations that they are following and provide every informations and house rules from the government who's catering the business.

Each gambling site who wanted to stay longer around this business will comply to this regulatory bodies to make sure they are in a good terms from
the government.

There's no regulating body to verify and promote gambling unless you are in a country that's main source of income is with gambling industry. You can play with those casinos that's provably fair.

And if you want to see protection as you gamble, stay with the reputable ones.

You can only trust the solo service operators who are into business for a long time. Their reputation will speak for themselves. The new operators will have to prove their reliability and the trust will develop over time. Apart from that, trust is subjective.

Are there any regulating bodies that verifies, rates, and promotes gambling sites that is genuinely fair to its customers? Not just on fair plays but also gambling sites that protects its customers identity etc. Thank you.
Nope. You have to be your regulating body and trust your money with services based on your research. Of course, you can take this community and forum as a reference.

Since online gambling industry is majority using crypto and just like also cryptocurrency though that nobody regulates the bodies. It is just us the player/gambler who to have the right to judge but we have a limit. There's no regulation in the online gambling industry using crypto that is just like investing in it. No one will be regulated but here in the forum, we can regulate them as those gambling sites.

That's not regulated just yet, but maybe it will be in the future if crypto will become mainstream.

Your biggest bet would be to do your own research before using any of crypto betting sites. For now. Nobody can guarantee you anything.

As the Market is decentralized we can't expect things to be regulated. Everything done with a gambling website is just on trust, as the cryptocurrency user community keeps widening there is good competence within gambling websites providing better support and trusted services. This is how the gambling websites gain reputation and functions flawless.

Just like cryptocurrency industry the gambling industry is not regulated by law and at that their are at freedom to choose which ever rate they choose and either probably fair ground for players and investors. Only they reputation speaks.

Don't believe there's no body that stand out for gambling industry regulation, in UK there's a regulatory body that give license to gambling companies that want to venture into gambling like this How-we-regulate-the-gambling-industry

Gambling Act 2005

Quote
Our objectives

We permit gambling, in so far as we think it is reasonably consistent with the licensing objectives:

preventing gambling from being a source of crime or disorder, being associated with crime or disorder, or being used to support crime
ensuring that gambling is conducted in a fair and open way
protecting children and other vulnerable persons from being harmed or exploited by gambling.

With this you should understand that, law govern the gambling industry which depends on your jurisdiction.

Regulation things not available for gambling sites. May be you get suggestion from the forum members and you do the own research to use any gambling sites. I wish to go with bitinity.

This is not the place to ask this query. I should move this thread to gambling discussion.
Suspected scam sites can be reported on this forum. trusted members may take action against such scammers.
As have said early gambling just like the ICO market can not be regulated and at that any gambling site are at liberty to do what ever the want, even some gambling owners who own an account on this forum and are red tag for some form of scam but nothing have been done about they gambling site's and are still functioning uptilt now.

It's not that hard to know of that gambling site is decentralized which we know that no one is taking control on what is happening on that gambling site and second find a gambling site that does not required KYC to complete when creating an account to play on the site so, in short do your own research on which gambling site to pick that also protect the identity of the gambler.

You have seen there are lot of scam ICO and scam coins in the crypto world too. Due to no regularity system, we see the emergence of many gambling sites whom purpose is to make quick money by scamming people. Although I do agree that if anyone want to establish a long term business in gambling, reputation will be the main focus for them.

Well, curacao-egaming.com are the ones who give the licenses from Costa Rica, they verify the engine and the site isn't rigged before giving the license.

That's not the case. Like the name suggests the licenses (Actually sub-licenses) are from Curacao, not Costa Rica. (Costa Rica is a popular place to incorporate a casino though, because it effectively has no gambling laws for foreign bets).

And they do not verify the engine (and if they did, it could silently changed, or they verify a different version).

As someone who's previously been granted a gaming license, I can tell you they're pretty much totally useless for a player. I think the only thing they're good for is showing that the company isn't a "fly-by-night" operation as they invested a few thousand in legal and licensing costs.

And if you're cheated by them, it gives you a potential avenue for recourse but it'd be a a pretty up-hill battle. And if they're malicious, they could've even gone through the whole licensing process with totally fake information and be anonymous.

--

So my strong advice for players would be to use a system they can verify themselves (i.e. provably fair) and a long history of being good standing with the community (as that's something worth millions of dollars, no well-run company would want to risk that).  I'd also check out: https://cryptogambling.org/   while I don't know every name in the list, the ones I do know are pretty solid options.

Yes, with decentralization there is no check & balance and no central authority who could monitor all the fair plays and other stuff in gambling.
Rather i would say that this is much more better than a regulatory authority.

In case of Central gambling body, there might be some check and balance but more often we see these bodies are purchased by the big whales in the industry and they influence even those authorities to take biased decisions.

Now the only way for gambling site to survive for a long term is to be fair and supportive to its customers. Healthy competition among the sites is also benefit to the gamblers and i think gambling survival is best in the decentralized environment.

Not all gambling sites do have that kind of license but they do still able to get big market share when it comes to gambling industry. It would always

matter with trust and building up reputation overtime. It isnt really that necessary for it to be verified yet number of players trusting a gambling site would
already be a valid factor you can consider that you are playing on a good one.

Well, trust is the main thing in crypto currency based casinos. Most of the casinos are unregulated. As far as I know, licensing of casinos can be done and that casino should follow the rules under the license. But remember, having a licence does not mean that the casino is totally legit.
If the site is well know and reputed, then there is a high chance they are totally legit and will try their best to respect customer privacy.

You should search on the recommended gambling site from here or from the other site.
You will found so many trust gambling website from here, and it will make you confuse to decide to play on where site.
I think every gambling website is fair because they are very concerned with their member and they don't want to cheat their member. Once they cheat the members, then it's time to lose the members.
I don't think if there is any regulating company about what you said because so far, every gambling site have their own rules and I think the rule is almost the same between them.

There is no central authority here due to the anonymous nature of crypto itself and no one would prefer such a regulated entity, but there is an organization which promotes various popular casinos which have proven to be reliable over time.

Organization : https://cryptogambling.org/

I do not think that there is any centralized body which can control the overall gambling industry.  Also i do not think we need anything which should control gambling and store our identities. Many people want to play anonymous gambling and will not like themselves to be revealed.

First of all you need to move this topic to gambling discussion board (reported it already though)
Related to your question:
Which sites plays fair? Those sites with provably fair system where people are able to verify their bets.
Which sites pays fair? All sites that has no significant withdrawal issues.
But I have no ideas about site that regulates gambling sites like what you ask.
