Okay I installed the accounts in it.

I do see firmware is available and option to update firmware. Shows Update Firmware to 2.1.0 is available.  I am using firmware 2.0 still.

I also see that the apps I have installed below have updates available as I am using these

Bitcoin  1.6.3

Bitcoin Cash 1.6.3

Bitcoin Gold 1.6.3

I can click on update all and it would all go to version 2.0.0 for each of these. My question is... do I update all first... before I do the update firmware?  Or the other way around?

Also my ledger live is the latest one as Ledger Live 2.36.3

Want to make sure before I do this firmware update.

Did anyone here regret doing this update?  I saw some people on reddit ask how they want to rollback to the old one but that certainly isn't possible right?

The thing though is if I do not update my ledger live now, I won't be able to for many months due to me not having the seed with me.  Thus I don't want to be doing a firmware update when I'm in another location without the seed.  So would you recommend to do this firmware update now or not?  Because there is a risk where if another firmware updates let say happens in a few months and say its now firmware 2.2 and you still using firmware 2.0, there is a better chance of something going wrong in the firmware update when it goes from an older version to newest one compared to like 2.1.0 to 2.2 right?

The thing is I do not recall if my funds in BTC and BCH are in nested segwit or native segwit accounts.  I am pretty sure they are not in legacy.

So I have to add all 6 of them so to speak?  Or just the nested segwit and native segwit of each BTC and BCH?

But I believe I don't need to enter my seed though into the nano ledger right?
Your hardware wallet is already set up, so no. You will only need your seed if the device resets itself during the firmware upgrade which has happened to some people.

I know the first thing I need to do is download ledger live.  Then check to make sure the download hash file is correct.  But there still hasn't been a case where the hash file was wrong right?
The building I live in was constructed about 15 years ago. In all this time, there still hasn't been a case where a tenant got electrocuted by using a hairdryer in the bathtub. Nevertheless, I still don't allow my kid to bring a hairdryer into the bathtub. Do you understand? Shit doesn't happen before shit happens. When it does, what do the stats and previous history matter? Learn to do things properly or suffer the consequences.

After that, I need to create a new password right on ledger live?
I am not sure, I never had to reinstall LL on a different computer. But I assume you need to create a new account and use your existing or a brand-new password.

Do I connect my nano ledger so to it?  Or do I add accounts first?
You need the Nano S connected so that it can be scanned when the accounts are being added. If you have funds on nested segwit and native segwit accounts, you need to add those separately. Sane thing for Legacy.

Then only this, do I go and update the firmware?
The order doesn't matter.

When you open the ledger live program, you need to create a new password before you connect the nano ledger s to it right?
Just try it for God's sake. Nothing is going to happen.

Also when you add the accounts, will it add multiple BTC and BCH accounts?  I remember when I added the accounts a while back, there was like two different BTC and BCH accounts.  The segwit had a balance for BTC And BCH but the other one didn't?

Well do most people who reinstall ledger live have much issue with this?  This is assuming their nano ledger s is already set up etc.  Also using a new laptop or deleting ledger live and reinstalling it... is basically the same thing here?

The assumption that you are making is very dangerous - it doesn't matter if the hash file was never wrong/tampered with you should always verify it. In the case of Ledger Live, Pmalek created a guide[1] that you should follow in order to verify the integrity of your download.

To reply to your other answers in a simple way, I think you can follow this YouTube tutorial[2] that explains what you should do whenever you need to re-install Ledger Live on a new machine.

I am now using a new computer for this and need to start over.  But I believe I don't need to enter my seed though into the nano ledger right?
If I recall the process correctly, you'll just simply need to reinstall the Ledger Live to your computer, plug the HW device in and add your accounts back again. The only time it requires you to re-enter the seed phrase is when the HW device has been previously reset or replaced.

After that, I need to create a new password right on ledger live?  Then after I do that.  Do I connect my nano ledger so to it?  Or do I add accounts first?
I don't think the order of choosing a new password and adding the accounts back matters because after verifying that your ledger device is genuine, the next screen that will appear is the ledger live dashboard, and it's up to you whether you want to add the account first and then choose a new password in the settings.

I had ledger live installed on my old computer.  I had added the accounts on ledger live a while back when I connected my nano ledger s to it.  The accounts I added were btc, bch and btg.  The wallets installed on my nano ledger s are btc, bch and bitcoin gold.  I do not have a balance on bitcoin gold though.  So whenever I logged into ledger live, I see the account balances of btc and bch.

I also have to do a firmware update as I see there was one recently.  I am now using a new computer for this and need to start over.  But I believe I don't need to enter my seed though into the nano ledger right?

After that, I need to create a new password right on ledger live?  Then after I do that.  Do I connect my nano ledger so to it?  Or do I add accounts first?  The thing is I remember last time it added two different accounts for btc and bch and one was segwit and the other was something else?  I do recall having my coins in segwit for each btc and bch.  Thus one btc account had 0 balance. but the other had the balance.  Same for bch.

I remember you have to wait till it adds the accounts and then the balances show up right?

Then only this, do I go and update the firmware?  The last firmware update I did was back in May.  Also, I should reinstall my btc, bch and bitcoin gold apps before this update?  I know its still using the older ones.

This is my first time reinstalling everything on a new computer.  So I want to make sure I do things correctly.  Thank you.
