i will be happy spending money to get coins on a good entry point rather than spending money for hardware.

As someone that bought 10 S7's and was counting on the nice ROI from Oct/Nov ROI and diff.  DON'T get in a hurry to buy anything until you see Bitfury.  I am still bumming - The usual deal, If I would have just bought coin instead of Miners...SMH

Tbh, Bitcoin difficulty and the price has killed many miners, and the S7 is quickly going to a demise. I'd suggest you wait for the new bitfury chips

As of right now, the S7 and the Avalon 6 are the best available.

The B-Eleven should be showing up for sale very soon - there's evidence it's in production but filling those sorta-cloud preorder contracts first.
Hard numbers on it are a bit iffy at the moment, but it should at least match the S7 on efficiency.

Yes B-Eleven supposedly started running for Hash Investers on the 11th, first payout is on the 18th. It will be possible to do some calculations once the payouts start as to the actual efficiency. Hopefully they full produce a full spec and pricing for units in the next Month or so?

Back in the D, GAW made some pretty cool hardware, but mainly for scrypt. So if you could find a second hand one or a supplier who still has stock. I can vouch that their hardware was much better than their coin

New, either S7, or Avalon 6 and be prepared for the external PSU setup.

If you want rack mountable you can go with second hand SP3x

Or you can buy units colocated/managed for you in china.

Hi there,

first off: It's an honest question, I'm not trolling here (guess, everyone says that but don't put the newbie in the bin just yet).

Anyway, I'm planning to buy some mining hardware of my own (and no, I don't want to discuss how to stupid it is to do that).

Most if not all seems to be vaporware. Over the past few months of this undertaking I've been wainting for a somewhat reliable opportunity to get rid of my money.

- Minerslabs sells 20+ TH/s miners, but the net/this forum says it's a scam.
- Spondoolies seems to be the real thing but will only sell an 11 HU monstrosity in bulk quantities (I'd even buy 1 or 2 of these)
- Yesminers - well, I had somewhat high hopes they would be coming through with something but that seems all total bullshit

So, my question is: Is an AntMiner really the most powerful miner I can buy at the moment?

(I probably would if there is absolutely no alternative. But the setup woes with no rack mountable cases, external PSU, high power consumption (when compared to above vaporware) etc. make me cringe already when only thinking about it ...)
