Tor exit nodes are mostly outside USA, = outside FBI jurisdiction. How they made that?

Look what happened to megaupload, their server were outside US as well and now? Everything is gone.

Who is the owner of Tor?

lol, that's like asking who is the owner of the internet.

The government has schizophrenia.

Sometimes it likes us,
and sometimes it hates us.
Sometimes it helps us,
and sometimes it attacks us.

We're their boss; we pay their wages, except they like to give the impression that they're in charge. People don't usually like their bosses but like the fact that they pay them, so they have to feign a little bit of respect and care when in actuality they don't.

Tor was created/originally sponsored by the Gov, and supposedly it protects us from the Gov?  Huh

Does this mean that they have the power, knowledge and resources to bring down or at least severely harm a network like bitcoin?
They won't touch it if Governments can make money off it like through Taxation.

They are interested only in dogecoin  Grin

Did the FBI start Dogecoin to make fun of the NSA's Bitcoin?

How and when did they attack Tor? I don't see how they can disrupt Bitcoin anyway.
http://www.wired.com/2013/09/freedom-hosting-fbi/

Relevant article. There was too much panic whet the FBI took down Silk Road. At the time people were saying that TOR should never be considered anonymous again and .onions were shutting down one after another.

it just sucks that there is a Silk Road still up (http://silkroad6ownowfk.onion).

If they listened to the wishes of the feds, only gay porn and kava kava would be available for sale
From what i've red it's another SR (SR2) hosted by other admin and the first one got busted cuz he orderes fake IDs.

SR2.0 also had their wallet cleaned out according to reddit because they like Karpeles apparently rolled their own implementation that directly interacted with the bitcoin protocol and was full o' bugs. Lot's of these sites are also doing stupid things like using MongoDB or other NoSQL http://hackingdistributed.com/2014/04/06/another-one-bites-the-dust-flexcoin/

Anything computer related can be interrupted or shut down/hacked. Nothing in the cyber world is safe.

Good look taking down a decentralised network.

I don't really think they attacked Tor, but took over a server. It's not like Bitcoin is hosted on one.
