Yep, a lot of people don't get how important the BTC rate is, you have to keep it in mind with all coins. Altcoins are just with the dollar value for convenience. But the real charts lie in the BTC chart
not to worry, all will be answered later, why btc is very important. our duty only supplies as much btc and enjoy the future.

oh sure, having the ability to know future is indeed a good thing to prevent financial losses :-)

anyway, i get that you are implying that every dollar spent in bitcoin would have get you more gain versus ether in the same timeframe but more is more,
so if you spent fiat for ether you are not incurring in a loss but in a smaller gain ;-) that is not quite the same thing right?

I couldn't agree more Smiley I'm really never comparing my earnings in fiat money but rather in BTC Smiley but when it gets to ETH and LTC it's different as does coins you can convert into fiat money. So If you bought eth for 300$ and it's worth 700$ you have earned 400$ .... you could have earned more if you had your money in BTC but in fiat money you have earned 400$. As for rest of alts i'm just trading them to get more btc Smiley

BTC or BUST
Regardless of the Crypto , at this stage in the evolution of Bitcoin, Fiat is still a marker, whether we are fiat lovers or not..
The store value of both Ethereum and Bitcoin have increased.
Have you ever considered that Ethereum may even surpass Bitcoin?  It is highly possible considering the last years growth..

I don't care if it surpasses btc or not. I still won't hold and use it because it is centralized shit that has no cap and is obviously not immutable and gets hacked and has terrible bugs etc etc

Eth and btc are like apples to oranges..

Same applies to all Alt coins.

For those who believe that they making huge profits now are foolishly mistaken that for example you bought Ether at $300 back in June you are still making a loss today even though Ether is $850 now. How?

The answer is you are making a loss in BTC value not is USD fiat paper money value.

It is how you look at it:

- If you believe in Fiat paper money then ignore this post.

- If you believe in Bitcoin and decentralisation then please consider this post.

That will be applied to those are buying the ethereum above 0,07 I know that there are so many people lost a lot in the bitcoin value but they are all not realizing about that.
I bought ether when it was 0.028 and then is this can be considered as a loss for me in ether?
Everyone has its own opinion about that.
