These types of false, fake, scam things are mostly promoted in social media. Facebook is one of the big place of promoting these scam sites. Twitter act as little than Facebook. So I will request of the newbies to don't trust the social media unrealistic invitations. Mainly some earning related Facebook groups/channels. Also, keep in mind that the more easy way to earn money the more chance to be a scam.

I think most of the common fake schemes are existing in Twitter and criminals are using famous personality to bait someone.

That's the reason why people are getting fooled by them, they are urging to have an easy money, relying on those fake giveaways and gifts even if there's no such thing like that. So when you see something like that, something that is very suspicious, don't hesitate to ask and inform other people regarding that.

It is much worth it if you work so hard to become successful and that's the thing that we should do with our investments.

Of course there is such a thing as easy money - you just start a central bank. If you can't do that, then get yourself elected as a member of the European parliament ( or the English House of Lords).
The money can be easy when being in the government-power especially in countries with corruption but you will have to work or in some cases bribe, rig, maneuver around to get there some of which cost finance and sweat, but after that those guys become unrepentant, vigorously mean money launders and power-intoxicated.

I've learned it hard way that money making is not easy. I fall for these websites and I suggest everyone to do a research before joining any money making sites or making investments.

Unfortunately the people running such "get rich quick schemes" are specifically targeting people who dream big and want it all without understanding that for the vast majority it takes a lot of work to become rich. Even with hard work and have a successful career, unless you teach yourself all the fundamentals when it comes to finance then it is easy to leak all your money away. I have some friends who earn quite highly, however they manage to waste it all away on high end cars and the latest smart gadgets that come along - without understanding that they are paying astonishing rates on loans for such products and overpaying by huge amounts compared to a single cash purchase.

Or you can scam people - this is usually easy money for the scammer.

You can also be a used car salesman - easy money if you're a good liar.

You can be a politician because that's also easy money for the most part if you can stand being hated and getting hit by a tomato or an egg from time to time Cheesy

Scamming others would not also very easy in the beginning. You still need to do bunch of things, plan how to execute every shits you will do to make fool of other people just for your benefit. Easy mone will come in the if all of your plans succeed and well are executed.
In the end of the day, you'll be chased by your victims and you might be eaten by your conscience.

Salemens/Salewomens do the sweet talkings but they are not very liar.

Hello! Just a reminder guys Smiley

Recently, I've seen a lot of people engaging on websites or applications that are offering moneys for such an easy work. They use different payment method such as paypal, Bitcoin, altcoins, Visa, Western Union, etc.
Sadly its not recently. Its since forever and it still work for scammers (lately popular "live" video on youtube scam).
Popular one now is sent X amount of BTC we will send you 2X BTC, they will double your BTC just like that (giveaway).
There is no such thing, why? Its just common sense.

This is only part of the story. Its not about easy task or free money common scams.
People think investing in Bitcoin and hodling is free money. Its not, they invest in really high risk venture, that can profit huge but also it can fail.
I believe in Bitcoin a lot, but in some scenarios Bitcoin can fail, so betting it won't and buying is earning money, its not easy or free.
I got your point but you are going far away from the topic. Off topic per se.

Everyone just needs experience in cryptocurrency and in every investment to completely understand how it works. For sure once we all fall or somehow want to invest in something that is really promising that would earn you a big amount of profit in just a small time that in the end just a big scam. Especially having a lot of referral or investment that almost gives you a high percentage of profit, for sure everyone could notice that it is not possible to earn that amount so easily.
Indeed, most of these referral shits tactics are just way of these frauds to have higher number of people that might fall on the scam they created.
Understanding how, what, why, how, and when someone can earn money is essential on their understanding that there is no way they can earn that easy.
Understanding also the side of those scammers will really be a big help to someone.

It's probably our desire or sometimes 'greediness' to earn something through a super easy task.
So we try it and make ourselves believe that it could. Grin
But we are much matured now, we cannot easily be attracted with those frauds again.
I think, personally, that it's not "probably" but "actually" our huge desire and greediness that takes us to such lengths.  Grin

But you're right. We're more matured now and we've learned from those experiences so maybe we'll be able to decide wisely next time we're faced with such circumstances.

Currently there is no easy money, it takes effort to get money that is comparable to the work we do.
Websites with the lure of being able to provide multiple benefits need to be watched out for. Especially the website that you show. Many SCAM websites are imitating the original website too, which promises to make it easy to get money from investments and the like. must remain vigilant with a mode like this.

A lot of people tend to believe in this kind of scheme without even researching. Most of them were not even legally registered to the authorities so it's really better to search first before doing this kind of thing cause you will just end wasting your efforts and lose your money instead of earning.
And that was the reason why most of people who don't have much knowledge in this kind of things always falls into this kind of scheme. Whenever they saw a photo of a rewards/money that they could get from just doing a referral people tend to be dumb and fall easily. Without having any prior knowledge about these things and letting these fraudulent activities loitering in any kind of social media platform especially in Facebook could easily lure more users.

Are you inspired with my recent thread? Cheesy Nice thread tho. I see that most of people still are scammed, but I still see that most of scammed is Filipinos with such ponzi scheme and fraudulent websites (even I myself had experienced being scammed of course and now seeing many fellow-citizen/'kababayans' being scammed by a lot of shits you can think if). Why Filipinos? Because we ourselves wanted to earn money yet some think it is just easy especially when you do it online, as most trust those too-good-to-be-true proofs of scammers that they earn easily. And with the current pandemic and a lot of jobs losing with the nationwide quarantine and lockdown, it is just normal that they look a way to earn even at home, then the scammers keeps making their way to earn with such situations. (Worst right?)

If some would wanna see a current scam in Philippines, I made it in bilingual yet had it most in english to be readable and understandable by anyone.

You underestimate how many people use the internet. This may be old news for us, but a new user could easily see it as an opportunity. Look at it this way: I'm sure many, if not all of us, know a handful of people who believe everything on the internet is real -- these same people are the prime targets.
Yeah even kids now are online and do know how to use internet but getting scam? Lesser chances that kids will get scam because they are not interested in investment and earning for they are still dependent.

However there are lot of people getting scam. Clearly because of lack of education and desperate to earn fast and easy money. Others are also being persuade by their friends or family who had been joining a scam project in the likes of networking scam. Recently here in our place one of the networking scam.had been put to stop and all the investments coming from the people are lost.

Scamming tactics like that has been revolving around the internet for quite some time already, and now they're even into cryptocurrency like ETH and Btc.
I don't know why scams like this still exist. I wonder, is there still a lot of people who've fall for this? Specially when the website isn't reputable and unpopular. I suggest checking on several reviews from the internet ( I'm sure there will be a handful of them) before deciding on your next action.
There is also a similar scam like this where you're asked to solve several captcha and once you hit your earnings to $100 (which was achievable in a 10hrs of work), you'll allowed to withdraw it but with a certain amount of deposit first. I can't believe, I've wasted my time with such stupidity lol.

I know that website. I've tried it few months ago. It was actually referred to me by my friend. His approach to me actually was, "Hey, you want to earn some money?" Typical, right? Since I don't have anything to do, I decided to check it out. It was indeed an easy money. Just by typing numbers, you can easily earn. I think I already reached the minimum amount of payout that time. But as you have said, I still need 40 referrals. I find it difficult because I don't really like endorsing things especially this kind to others. But my friend gave me a tip to just create 40 emails so that I will be eligible for the payout. That's what I did. But I wasn't able to create 40 other accounts. Just 6 as far as I remember. Then I stopped. My niece is the next person who told me about it. I didn't tell her that I know about it already. Good thing is, before asking me to join her, she did some research on YouTube if the site is legit. (Smart girl Grin) Then, viola! She found out it was a scam.

Good thing I stopped making emails and typing numbers there. It would be a total waste of time if I continued with it. Like I said here before, I was scammed twice during the peak of quarantine period. Glad I didn't make it thrice. Lesson learned? If it's too good to be true, it probably is. Funny I always say that here but I forgot when it's most necessary to remember it.

Anyway, stay safe guys! From the virus and from this kind of scams.

Recently, I have found a website that promises free money on PayPal account, but until I found this topic I had no idea how this scheme works exactly, or, to put it clearly, how it is used to scam people. I am not familiar with PayPal, but I assume that email used on PayPal if collected by scammer can be used for scam purposes, possessor of the account can be social-engineered somehow through account email. Additionaly, when someone naive enough adds their email, he is being redirected to the page, which shows fake balance of 100$ and number of refferals required to "withdraw" the funds. I guess this website should be immediately reported, because many people may fall into this scam.

Pretty much that, I'd say phishing to be exact with some fake Paypal login page. The moment I clicked on the email field, some ad popped up.

It is obviously clear that the domain name is .xyz that is very cheap compares to others: .com, .org, .io. In last few years, many crypto projects use domain names with .io because it is cheaper than .com. I don't say that all projects have their domain names end with .xyz are scam but keep this indicator in mind guys. Beware of it and be more careful when you see a project with such domain name.

Back in the days, .tk used to be so prevalent. How times have changed.

I remember this kind of scam. Last 2017 my friend invited me to join the same platform but has different name but also has an .xyz he even told me that the rate were good and as Ive checked it is good. But the required number of referrals in ordet to withdraw the works you did on captcha is scam. Of course I know its a scam already so I told him instead show me your withdrawals for this. Then few weeks after he completed it. He said that no money ever came to his bitcoin wallet and regret working on itand say sorry for those people he got invited.

Once you see this familiar interface, everyone should be aware that it is a scam and youll only waste time on it.

This is not a new scam because right now I recently saw a different platform with the end of their website or platform which is .xyz by that I easily identify that this is more on referrals, invites, captcha, and investment. There are a lot of friends telling me they want to join right here because it's more easiest to earn money but I always give them an advise that this is just a scam and you cannot make a lot of money right here the only one who benefits the use of it is them and does not give any chance to their users to earn regarding with this platform.

Still, this is a good thing and awareness of the newbies because they want to earn a lot of money in just a few days which is not a good thing.

Good job OP.

...Mostly, these "companies" are requiring it's users to refer people as much as they can. And they are claiming that they will pay their users for every referral they made. ..
A referral is a very common program done by many parties in order to invite many more people to join and register and do some tasks to the platform/website of the company. I also several times to join this referral program. But, some notes must be paid attention in order to avoid the scam referral. As we know, as the bounty itself, a referral may be also legit but maybe also scam. It is like the project, legit, and scam. The way we analyze and decide will really influence we are going to get it as legit or scammed.

They will not allow you to withdraw! (in the first place they really won't and they really can't). Because they are scams!

Most of them will require you to pay something "for you to be able to withdraw your funds". But once you do, nothing will change. You just gave them your money.
Everything if you need to deposit first in order to withdraw it, better to leave it. Moreover, if the reward is so high so that everybody will be interested to join the referral program.

Actually, there are legit referral programs that we can find, as what we can find on bounty or others. But you must note about these followings at least:
1. Analyze first the site or platform that offers the referral program. Are they trusted?
2. Never only becomes so desired and interested because of the high reward, but try to ensure that they are legit and not a scam. It can be seen from what platform. Personally, I always join the referral program from the popular and trusted platform that I have known that the reward of token or coin is really listed on the trusted exchanges.
3. Try to ensure that there is another way to cash out the payment without any deposit first to the platform. If you need to deposit first, ensure that the platform is very trusted if not, it is better not to join the referral program.
4. ANalyze also the mechanism of referral programs, many people don't read about the T&C when following this referral program so that they miss something and don't get any reward after doing a referral. I can say ao because I also join in several referral programs and they are legit but some people can't get the reward because they don't do some T&C.
5. Know the referral program, know the platform, know the T&C, know the reward, know the mechanism, know the profits, and never forget to know the RISKS.

please note that not all referral programs are legit/scams. It will depend on what platform/sites/companies. So, once more, be smart and careful when going to join such a program. Never only follow other people only. You must have willing also to analyze the referral programs by yourself. If you have often joined in the referral program, you must know how to get more people to join by your referral codes but not making them fool about the high promise.

You are right, No easy moeny, everything needs more efforts and analysis.

It seems the images shown by the OP above was familiar to me, I remember there was who invited me before. If I didn't mistake, this was very common in my country(Philippines). She sent me a PM with the referral link (and the link isn't safe) but I already aware that there's no free money on the internet that's why I refuse and told her that is a scam and don't be fooled. Just asking my self of that time, what is the purpose of inviting people, just filled up and register and invite, that's it. Now, I figured out what OP said, upon your withdrawal they will ask money to send hoping that you will get your reward, but the fact you will not.

Thank you, OP for bringing that topic here, this is old but probably there still people will be lured by free offering, and most of us now I know were need financial assistance after pandemic hits in our country.

In online, there is no such thing as easy money. Those who come up with the idea of making money easily can't stay long. Because those who think of income easily, are used by the owners of such websites. They just keep working. But at the time of payment no longer receives payment. I know the real look of such websites. Because I have been the victim of such scams many times, when I first came online. Such scams are widely publicized through social media. As a result, this scam goes to a large number of new people. Since they do not know about such scams, they easily fall prey to them. As a newbie I have been a victim of too good to be true scheme but now I have learned my mistake, I ignore it all now. To earn a decent amount we need to make some real job or task, the harder the higher the pay. That site is a multi scam, it could be phishing, malicious ads, taking important infos, name and emails, password and they will use it to crack your accounts on other websites.

+ Don't suggest/refer to people something you have not experienced/known -if that's the task giving it's very possibly a Ponzi/scam-
+ If you had been ignorantly part of it and it becomes -an exposed scam- alert others, don't just move to the next one
+ Philosophy/question: why is the task referring? what are they using the referral for? I paid in registration what is it for? How is my money multiplied? How real/legal is this? Even if it's your best buddy that refers you asking question and being realistic can save/secure you and many.

I always come to visit this section so that I can learn of the new ways in scamming here and other fraud activities. Well, in this case the sample is very common.

thanks to OP for this could be mean a great help for the newcomers. They should always visit this sectio  to check new updates, news and events in cryptocurrency and process it for.them to learn. I guess that this is the best way in learning not by just only doing bounty hunting itself.

Hello! Just a reminder guys Smiley

Recently, I've seen a lot of people engaging on websites or applications that are offering moneys for such an easy work. They use different payment method such as paypal, Bitcoin, altcoins, Visa, Western Union, etc.

Mostly, these "companies" are requiring it's users to refer people as much as they can. And they are claiming that they will pay their users for every referral they made.
The payment is huge actually, for just referring anyone. And they use is as bait to even make fool of more and more people(the more, the merrier).
We say that you decided to continue working on these sites... then you've reached the minimum payout! (Your excited ofcourse, it's a big money). In the end they will not pay you Smiley
They will not allow you to withdraw! (in the first place they really won't and they really can't). Because they are scam!

Most of them will require you to pay something "for you to be able to withdraw your funds". But once you do, nothing will change. You just gave them your money.
You've wasted your time, your effort, and your money! Plus, you will feel guilty on people you've invited (those who believed you).

If don't ever send money on this kind of "business". It is SCAM. Do not be fooled and do not waste your money.
You might seen some testaments on their websites saying that they already paid out, deposited then successfully withdrawn the money, etc...
Do not fall for it because those testaments are fake!!

You will notice also from scam websites that they uses the same UI but has different name. Just changing their name... stay away from these!

Also... remember not to use emails connected to your social media accounts and financial accounts. Do not recycle passwords.
You can't trust sites like these, they can phish your information. Eventually you'll be hacked and they will steal something from you if they found your details valuable!

Here's some example:

Completely the same User Interface, different name.

To "withdraw", you need to refer 40 people. LOL Grin

They will lead you to an investment scam whereas you will be forced(if you continue) to buy referrals from "other users"(which are fake).
They will ask you to deposit money to a bitcoin address as payment.
Nothing will happen even you send your money there, your money will just be gone.

please note that not all referral programs are legit/scams.

I don't know why scams like this still exist. I wonder, is there still a lot of people who've fall for this?

You underestimate how many people use the internet. This may be old news for us, but a new user could easily see it as an opportunity. Look at it this way: I'm sure many, if not all of us, know a handful of people who believe everything on the internet is real -- these same people are the prime targets.

If some would wanna see a current scam in Philippines, I made it in bilingual yet had it most in english to be readable and understandable by anyone.
Here's my thread: Nauusong "easy-money"

If you use some sort of reverse image tool (Google Image, TinyEye, etc.), the referenced sites are indeed used as part of a widespread set of sites with different names (some are defunct, some running): TuMoney, PuMoney, EbMoney, RuMoney, poMoney, uodMoney, MyMoney, OkMoney, OiwMoney, PsiMoney, EonMoney, Bnomoney, IneMoney, UnaMoney, IwuMoney, Biqmoney, knimoney, IkMoney, ppumoney, OebMoney, etc. The list just goes on and on...
