You can do port forwarding through your firewall, but it should only be done to secure channels like ssh.  VPN is the safest.

You can use NAT or VPN as stated above, VNC and SSH are good access to rig both on windows and linux.

Setup a VPN - one of the safest and most flexible options out there... Pretty much any enterprise (and some higher end consumer) routers will have OpenVPN support built in and it only takes a couple minutes setting it up if you're network savvy at all.

I also don't use Teamviewer, I use VNC for Windows miners - but refer to above for connecting outside of your network.

Just wonder how you guys organize remote access to rigs behind NAT?
In W10 TeamViewer works just fine.

In Linux I cant ssh to host that has private IP address...

PS: Still debating between Linux and W10...Eh
