When you walk with a child and child crosses a busy road do you let him or you hold his hand?

Why facilitate Google data collection via captcha and java script? Is it a condition for forum to stay open?

Yes we can use macchanger and some public wifi.

In order to get past the first two (one to sign up and one to login the first time), you will need to access the forum via an IP address that is not TOR. If you want to remain anonymous, you will need to find one that will not remain associated with you. If you know what you are doing, this should not be difficult.

BTC or BUST
It has no place on libertarian forums.

Those values that this forum and Bitcoin were founded on are nothing but a ghost of their former selves here now..

As a matter of fact if you frequently speak up for them then you are a "virtue signaler" and may be attacked..

Google captcha does not work with Tor.

Google captcha do work with TOR but sometimes it will take a lot of tries before you can successfully complete the captcha. You should start a new session on TOR if it is not working after few attempts.

Also, can you give what other options do we have other than the Google Captcha ? Which captcha service works well with TOR ?

Unfortunately, there's no other real competitors to Google's captcha. The Tor browser does work with Google's captcha, but it can be a pain from time to time. You basically have to keep requesting a new identity until you eventually get in. At the moment I'm not aware of any other captcha provider that would be sufficient against attacks.

Login from same IP. Each time password is wrong incremental delay , 10 sec, 30 sec, 60 sec, 600 sec, 6000 sec. To reset delay counter owner has to click on reset link send to an email.

Google Captcha is a deep state tool to profile people. It has no place on libertarian forums.

Not your keys, not your coins!
For a forum such as bitcointalk it is better to provide local captcha service.
As a result of attacks from 5000+ IPs in 2017, the capcha login requirement implemented to avoid such same attacks.
Furthermore, from want you see
If it causes problems, I might restrict it to Jr Members and above or something, but currently anyone can do it.
Admin has still allowed all member ranks to use capcha code. When you can still be allowed to use it, why local capcha services are needed.

But if someone try to use capcha code to attack, theymos will probably restrict it to higher ranks. I don't think it will happen (attacks) because the forum has become cleaner when shitposters eradicated over recent months.

Reference:
Recently someone has taken to using 5000+ IPs to bypass rate-limits and try many passwords. Therefore, it is now required to solve a captcha when logging in.

I did try multiple tor nodes.

On some forums captcha is served more than on others. Is it a local website setting of Google initiative?

What they are doing most likely is using a heat map inside that JS window to record mouse movement pattern.

For a forum such as bitcointalk it is better to provide local captcha service.

Not your keys, not your coins!
A reminder:

- Secure capcha code as best as possible because if the others know your capcha code, they can bruteforce your account password.

Try using a new exit node - in Tor browser click on the options symbol in the top right and select "New Tor Circuit for this Site".

Alternatively, since you have obviously managed to log in, navigate to https://bitcointalk.org/captcha_code.php, and use that link to log in from Tor - it will bypass the captcha requirement.
