i found a kit on ebay for about 15 that has a fan and a load of micro heat sinks - it looks like it might be able to do the job but that all depends on whether it actually makes a difference!

Ive got a pack of 50 mini ones that i had knocking about and i've put them on one side of the S1 and i'm noticing a drop of about 1-2C vs the other side without any - i suspect with an additional fan and maybe a cover over the top i could get the temps down even more...

this fan is great

Could look into a fan like this: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16835103069

I believe it's whats used on the Hyper 212 CPU coolers, but I can't say for certain. I've looked into getting one of those for my S1's but decided against it, because I figured I could live with the noise, plus save a few bucks.

So I haven't used it on an S1 before, but from looking at the specs and such, it appears it would be great for cooling an S1.

I have 3 S1 miners all with a single fan, i'm planning on OC'ing them buit i want to keep them cool - does anyone recommended a particular fan to replace or add as an additional fan for push/pull configuration? Ive tried a standard delta 250CFM fan (non PWM) and it was nice and cool but not very quiet Wink

Would any 120mm PWM 38mm fan be ok? (Any recommendations for high CFM & low noise?)
