Topic: Reply to a Watched topic, then it is automatically Unwatched (Read 823 times)
Yay, thanks! Can't believe I'm the only person who uses quick reply, as its display is turned on by default.

Still happening. I guess quick reply should be disabled since it acts as an unwatch command.
Oh, I never considered quick reply. I don't use it. I'll look into it.
I usually see a topic for the first time, click Watch and don't reply at all. At a later date I Quick Reply, and after I quick reply, the Unwatch link turns to Watch. If I hit refresh, it remains as Watch. I rarely use the advanced editor, pretty much only when starting threads or editing posts.

On the reply page, "watch this topic" under "additional options" should be checked if the topic you're replying to is watched. If it's not checked (maybe your browser is weird or you watched the topic after opening the reply page), it will unwatch the topic.
Haven't noticed this (yet) and I have been using the watch list ever since it was added.
