I couldn't just leave feedback without verifying it. For all I know you could be a fellow translation bounty hunter annoyed that he's taking your business.

Of course, that's understandable. But NeuroticFish was trusted enough I guess to confirm that I was right.
Anyway thank you for your involvement.

It's not really a staff or forum matter so belongs either in Reputation or Scam Accusations. If you can find someone Romanian who is reputable to vouch that it is poorly translated then I'll leave them negative feedback.
you are right to report only rumanian people who are fluent in the language, so dev can consider it

I am Romanian, so I know what I'm talking about. Sure, I don't have enough reputation, I can understand that. Isn't Cyrus Romanian too?

Later edit: never mind, I see that NeuroticFish reacted already

NeuroticFish isn't on default trust but EcuaMobi is who has now left him negative.

I'm not sure if this is the right place for this kind of report, so please forgive me if it isn't.

I was checking for new announcements for new coins and I noticed this guy: https://bitcointalksearch.org/user/tolgatrz-1059435
He is obviously turkish but he applied for romanian translations (that's why I noticed him) for these 2 coins:
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30571039
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30589800

Then he made first of these translations here: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.30571635

However the translation is extremely bad, it is obvious for any romanian speaker that this is just a copy from a google translation of the original english version.
It has so many wrong words, odd phrasings and grammar mistakes that is impossible for a native romanian to be that bad, not even a 3 years old child.

Is this an allowed behavior? I assume it isn't.

I gave him negative feedback. Asking bounty (money) for automated translation means he did try to scam somebody.
I didn't follow though the story to see if he actually received anything.

Edit: And yes, I'm from Romania and I can confirm it's a poor quality automatic translation, that's why I acted.

you can report it directly to the owner of the project but you also have to have strong evidence so that it does not adversely affect you

things like this I've encountered related to the use of non-standard language, so it is difficult to understand what is meant.
but let the project team judge.

No it is not. You should report it to the mod and also the campaign manager.
He will probably get neg-tagged soon. Good catch btw.
