Just report one of their posts, or the post with the evidence in, which is what some people tend to do.

฿itcoin for all, All for ฿itcoin.
I'm guessing so I have no idea if this is true or not, but I think if someone has a grudge against another, they can make a bunch of accounts or have friends / members just constantly report an account.
All the evidence discovered will have to be linked in order to make the report complete so there will be no room for making false reports due to grudges and it mods won't have to dig around.

I think the trust rating is an adequate form of what you suggest.
Not for offenses like ban evasion

However, for the time being it would be advised to report a post of those that are ban evading (ideally a post which is posting outside meta and is unrelated to their ban), and include any information that is relevant, as well as the essential evidence.
Thanks, this will help, i was looking for away to report without having to open a topic in meta or reputation over and over again  Wink

The new forum software (epochtalk) does in fact have a function to report a user, as well as the capability of reporting posts like on SMF. Its probably unlikely that additional features such as implementing a report user feature would be added to the current forum software. However, for the time being it would be advised to report a post of those that are ban evading (ideally a post which is posting outside meta and is unrelated to their ban), and include any information that is relevant, as well as the essential evidence.

Although, that thread is a great resource, moderators probably aren't routinely checking it.

Reporting members who have been breaking rules like Ban evasion among other offense is quite challenging.
This thread for example has some profiles that have been discovered to evade bans with all proof presented but they are still a large which mean Mods probably don't look through.

Why doesn't admin add a "Report Profile to Moderator" link on profiles so that it's easy to pick up a specific profile and report it along side with the evidence presented.

If they do that, the mod will have to go through a bunch of the user's posts and see if what the've been doing over the course of multiple days/weeks/months is worthy of a ban. On the other hand, when you report a post, all the information is right there and there's no extra digging needed -- it makes the mods' lives a little easier.

I think the trust rating is an adequate form of what you suggest. If someone sees an account that has a red "-10" right under their account name, it seems normal to avoid dealing with that person.
