I often use the "Report to moderator" option. Is it possible to view my reports in order to avoid duplication?
no, it's not available to the reporter but I'm pretty sure mods can see the report list
easy way to keep track your reports is by bookmarking the reported posts
every once a while clean up your bookmark list by opening the links one by one
and then remove those dead links, that means they've been deleted by the mods

how do I report suspicious user that has spammed a lot of threads?
I noticed he copied one sentence from one of my post, then out ouf curiousity I checked his last posts
to find out he made 100+ posts today 1 post/minute and all one liner and repeatedly in different thread
looks like a copy-paste bot work to me. does that "Report to moderator" link should be enough to do the job?
posting gap between 2011 to 2017 then suddenly 140+ posts within 2 days Roll Eyes
and also on Trust summary page I see these:

I would like to point out that many of my 'bad' reports were rejected by one contentious mod, and later unactioned malicious dox removal reports which eventually led to forum policy changes.

"Unhandled" means that every moderator with jurisdiction over the post was unsure about the correct thing to do with the post and so left it for other mods to deal with, but no mod ever decided to act on it. I suppose it can be thought of as a "weak bad", though it's ignored for your accuracy percentage.

I'm curious: what makes grv's reports so different from the rest that moderators can't decide on 63% of his reports?

I made 19 reports to the moderator in last 7 days and out of the 19 around 92% are correct which doesn't make any sense as if you calculate 92% of 19 it makes 17.48 how and who is going to justify that now.

92% of 19 = 17.48
Could it be 12 good reports, 1 bad, and 6 unhandled?
12/13 makes 92% accuracy.

Not necessarily. In the right threads you're required to post that as they're often on a 'first-come-first-served' basis. However, the people who spam "reserved" in every thread should be banned (often in ANN thread even though you're not supposed to do that).
If reserved isn't allowed anymore, they'll just switch to asking for a bounty.

With "signature contest" I though the user meant 'bounty campaigns' et. al., but now I'm thinking he/she may be talking about signature design contests. I'm torn.
My giveaway contests got "reserved"-posts too, even though the Rules say not to edit posts. More people should start their topic self-moderated, in my thread that delete button basically ended all spam once spammers realize it's useless.

I must admit I sometimes click "Report" just to check my own statistics. I'm a bit OCD with it now, since I lost 5 of my very first reports to being "bad", I've had a flawless record. I should probably stop worrying about that, and report posts that I have doubts about too.

I recently reported two people and the posts were deleted quite soon but I have I doubt: is it better to quote them or should I just report them?

I quoted the posts and wrote: “reported” because I thought they could edit the post if they thought they were going to be banned (maybe because some other post was deleted).

I’m quite new in the forum but I think it is something we, forum members, can do to improve the quality.

all you have to do is report them; going as far as to quote their post and just write 'reported' is first off, unnecessary, and is also itself a low quality post and deserves to be deleted as well.

Easy man! I am asking because I wasn't sure and, if I made a mistake, as it seems to be the case, I don't want to repeat it again. By the way, my post was also deleted and I am happy about that. I didn't expect it to stay there. Besides, what I did is something I usually see in other forums.

I don't think signature campaigns are first come first served, and I don't get why people "reserve" spaces.  It's really just spam IMO.  I'd lime to hear an opinion from a mod.

Lauda, do you think writing "reserved" in a sig campaign thread is spam?  I'm just talking about those, not ANN or any other threads.  I'd like to know if reporting those posts is a waste of time.
If we are talking about signature campaigns, then yes. There is absolutely no reason to write such a post in those. Whether moderators are going to delete them or not, I do not know. You best ask hilariousandco via PM.
What I think -
"Yes, I was talking about signature design contest as posting reserve there can't be treated as spam because their entry will be viewed first and gives a better chance of selection/winning while In the signature campaign it can't as posting some details doesn't take much time and after one look the campaign manager not look at the same page again to find new entries.

Let's see what hilariousandco thinks

1st - I'm curious to know how much time will be taken by forum moderators to delete spam posts. Actually, I didn't find anything related to it anywhere on this forum.
Such data does not exist and moderators are not required to spend any time should they choose not to.

2nd - People posting message "reserved" on signature contest looks ok but posting that same thing on the signature campaign is a pure case of spam or signature spam. Isn't it.

The third one I can't really say. I think theymos had explained this somewhere long ago, but I can't remember where and what exactly was said.

Let me know if you there should be a different thread for this through PM. so, I'm able to delete this from here.
