Basically the bad reports are mistakes from both sides, most of the bad ones are because you reported the same poat twice. Sometimes your and the mods option on some posts are different. I have bad 36 from almost 5000 and I agree on 99% of the cases. Bad rapports doesn't really matter.

I hope the unhandled could change to expired one day but i guess it won't happen.

Here are the ones for the past six months:

In this period, 19801 reports handled as good, 698 handled as bad, 628 unhandled.
In this period, 35785 reports handled as good, 1295 handled as bad, 1454 unhandled.
In this period, 33700 reports handled as good, 665 handled as bad, 823 unhandled.
In this period, 22258 reports handled as good, 739 handled as bad, 491 unhandled
In this period, 16122 reports handled as good, 818 handled as bad, 1507 unhandled
In this period, 7851 reports handled as good, 686 handled as bad, 1284 unhandled.
I'm surprised 3.34% is marked as bad, that's a lot higher than I expected.

I have 26 unhandled posts. Just want to know why they were not handled by mods.
Your report history page won't give you a specific reason reason as to why they were unhandled. It does say this, however:
Quote
When a report stays unhandled, this does not mean that no moderators were available to look at it; rather, it means that several moderators looked at it, but none of them was sure whether it should be acted upon or not. A report that stays unhandled can be thought of as "soft-bad", since no moderator positively thought that it warranted action.

Unhandled reports are unlikely to be for the reasons you listed, and a user being banned doesn't mean the rest of their posts aren't also up for moderation/deletion if they are otherwise breaking the rules. It simply means that the report you submitted was "borderline", and no moderator wanted to commit to act upon it. This could either mean the post didn't actually break the rules (most likely), or that the reason you gave when reporting it was not sufficient. There have been a couple of times I've reported posts for plagiarism without giving enough detail, so they went unhandled. I later reported them again with more information in the comment box and they were handled as "good". More often, though, if you re-report an unhandled report then you'll just get another unhandled or potentially even a "bad" for duplicate reporting.

Having said all that, none of that really matters, and don't worry about your statistics.

Only for significant number of reports right? I don't seem to see that "Report History".

You need to have 300+ good reports to see report history for the last 30 days

You will see that when you have reported 300 good reports, then you will see the report history you have done!

Click on 'report to moderator' with your profile logged in >> your report history.

It has history of reported posts of previous 30 days

Can you tell us how many reports do you get daily on average?

No idea as I don't keep count. You'd have to ask theymos for those sorts of daily stats but they vary wildly on a month-by-month basis. There doesn't seem to have been many reports the past month or so overall. Not sure whether it's because of the holiday season or whether people have got bored of reporting. Noticed a few users who were reporting large amounts have stopped or dropped off severely in volume. There's only around 200 unhandled reports in the queue right now but it wasn't uncommon to be five times that amount previously.

Here are the ones for the past six months:

In this period, 19801 reports handled as good, 698 handled as bad, 628 unhandled.

I have 27 good, 1 bad, 1 unhandled reports. Well, 1 unhandled is ok but 1 bad isn't good cause personally I report threads that are really very curious to even exist on this forum and I'm very interested to know which one was bad report.

It seems it was for this one: https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/worsening-lebanese-crisis-may-spark-bitcoin-adoption-5213127

You reported it as a dupe but the link you provided is to the same thread so maybe that's why it was marked as bad. I wouldn't worry about one report though.

Ah - cheers mate - lol - I remember it now - I was going back and fore confusing myself   Smiley
Cheers as well to all posters for the replies . Was gonna lock this thread , but will keep it open r a while .

What is the link to the check report history?
I have 26 unhandled posts. Just want to know why they were not handled by mods.
1. People deleted their posts before moderation.
2. They change the posts to something else to make it look legitimate.
3. User got banned before the moderator review.

I'm pretty sure he won't be able to see what this reported post is, there is a limited number of posts that are visible in "Your Reports"! page.
I think it's limited to 30 days, no matter how many reports you make. So OP has to hurry up Tongue

It can be useful as a learning experience to know which which reports are bad.

~snip~

I'm pretty sure he won't be able to see what this reported post is, there is a limited number of posts that are visible in "Your Reports"! page. For example, I now see only posts reported at the beginning of December last year. Although it would be very convenient to see which post is marked as bad report, we should not bother with it too much.

OP you did a good job, as the explanation itself says "one accurate report is worth many inaccurate reports."

I have reported 101 posts , with an accuracy of 100 and 1 post is classed as bad . I was wondering if it’s possible to know which post was inaccurately reported.
In the big picture it doesn’t really matter , but to know which post would help in the future and I’m just intrigues as I had a nice clean reporting accuracy  Smiley
