I have checked the timestamp before posting that reporting. But what are the chance that he is the admin of that forum? And add to that,  I have seen accounts just copy pasting from the site as well so I'm sure that they're simply getting it everything on that website. Actually I wanted to report that site being the haven for plagiarist, its a tedious job going pages after pages because usually a google hit won't point to the exact page but its worth catching those "cheaters". Grin. And hilariousetc pointed out that the account is a serial plagiarist so there's no argument here.

better Days Ahead...
Swiftcointalk time is 1 hour ahead of Bitcointalk time.

Swiftcointalk: CET
Bitcointalk: UTC

Exactly my thought because my time here is two hours ahead of bitcointalk, So it depends on the sever location they hosted the application, Since Swiftcointalk uses CET and Bitcointalk: UTC it means that Central European Time(CET) is 1 hour ahead of Coordinated Universal Time(UTC)

Content is usually checked, but it's a tedious process and sometime you can mess up. Sometimes you think you've got a hit on google but will then find it's a site that has copied this one like in this case and there are several bitcointalk mirrors you need to be weary of.

Can anything be done against Swiftcointalk administrator? I suppose not much.

Probably not. It is a pretty scummy practice though and a few sites have done this in the past. Maybe theymos could fight them legally with cease and desists but not sure if that's something he has time for or even wants to do.

Anyway, as mainconcept already said, he is actually a copy and paster and this is the post he was spotted and banned for:

I don't think bitcoin failed as a currency because bitcoin is used for online transaction and the price of bitcoin is not stable, but if bitcoin become stable maybe it might be possible that bitcoin will become currency, but for now, there's no chance that bitcoin will be used as currency. Bitcoin is not a failed cryptocurrency, its more of a springboard.

The bitcoin price is not stable, if bitcoin become stable maybe it might be possible that bitcoin will become currency, but for now, there's no chance that bitcoin will be used as currency.

I really just wish this practice just didn't exist in the first place as it's a massive waste of time and tedious and time-consuming to detect, but as long as you can get paid to post here it's something we're going to have to continue to tackle. I'm not sure how you could ever stomp it out completely but maybe there should be some sort of auto-checker implemented to detect abuse on the go.

Swiftcointalk is IMO just another web scraping scam site like
Code:
bitcointalk.to
or
Code:
thebitcointalk.net

It could not be seen as a trustworthy source.

But this user plagiarized anyways, so he deserved his ban:

A woman asks a farmer near a field, “Sorry sir, would you mind if I crossed your field instead of going around it? You see, I have to catch the 12:30 train.”
The farmer says, “Sure, go right ahead. And if my bull sees you, you’ll even catch the 12:00 one. Grin Grin Grin

My stress reliever includes the following;
1. Reading inspiring books
2. Listening to inspiring music
3. Exercising or walking in nature
4. Playing with kids
5. Spending time with the people I love

Here's a list of some of the things I do in order to "distract" myself in a healthy way.
- watching inspiring movies
- reading inspiring books
- listening to inspiring music
- exercising or walking in nature
- playing with kids
- spending time with the people I love

This list could go on and on. It’s not so much what you do, but how you do it. Wink

Playing devil's advocate, the time zone in those two forums could be different.  :/
I didn't notice that. I assumed both use the same time zone and that's why I thought swiftcointalk admin copied. Although that's the true. Anyway, I don't know which time zone is used by the forum. There is not much information available there.

Looking at the time both posts were made, the post he claims to be the original was actually plagiarized from the post made by the user Korkor.

I have checked the time from both forums and it seems the post was published here before swiftcointalk.

Edit: I misread this. As I also talked about local time above, I supposed S_Therapist was talking about time zone.

How about cross-checking the site itself? Swiftcointalk consists (almost?) entirely of posts by the administrator, which are all plagiarised from other sources.

I don't think it is right for the account to be banned. He did nothing wrong to get banned. This shows that the moderators on this forum do not check and verify reports made by people on the forum before taking actions. And its sad to see such situation.

It looks like it could be the same person posting on both forums but we can’t know for sure.
It's not the same person, IMO.
Swiftcointalk administrator is intentionally copying articles from bitcointalk. Here is another one I have quoted below.

Wondering who posted when. Here I got the same copy- https://www.swiftcointalk.org/latest-bitcoin-news/40-interesting-facts-about-bitcoin-you-don't-know/msg316521/#msg316521
Both topics have been created on 09th October.
@OP, can you confirm it? Seems like you have written before swiftcointalk.

It looks like it could be the same person posting on both forums but we can’t know for sure. Anyway, it seems you are right, unless both forums use a different local time, but it doesn’t seem he was banned, as he posted after that report (the report was made on September 28 and he has posted until October 8, I don’t think it takes so long for mods to ban someone).

I was going through this thread (https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/report-plagiarism-copypaste-here-mods-please-give-temp-or-permban-as-needed-1926895) and i came across this post https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46256673.

Looking at how people trade on the stock market thus buying and selling, Is it possible to do the same with Bitcoin? I realized that on this forum people always talk about Bitcoin investment (either Short-term or Long-term). This got me thinking; 'Is Bitcoin trading the same as Bitcoin Investment or Investing either long or short-term? I will be very grateful if you guys share your thoughts and ideas on this to help me clear some doubts I have and make me understand. Share what you think about this .

I realized that there was an error made by the person who made the post. He did not cross check the date and time when both posts were made. The one he claims to be the original post is not but the one which he also claims was plagiarized is rather the original post.
You can check for yourself
