Ah ha, I see the problem--didn't realize the OpenSSL library needs linked too...if you have MacPorts installed, sudo port install openssl should fix it right up.

Trying that now on my 3rd mac, with no libs installed. If you want your GLD back for the troubles, send me your addy. Hey, I tried Smiley

Thanks for trying and we have faith in you you will get it done. We really appreciate you are spending time to help others.

Well damn. Its running fine on my iMac (Mountain Lion 10.8.3) and MacBook (10.8.2) with only QT installed. I built it in a VM, so I haven't got any other dependencies it should need. Sorry about that Sad

You have to have QT installed for the wallet I compiled to run. Once QT's on your mac it should launch fine. There's a way around this, I'm working on it now.

Here you go:

https://docs.google.com/file/d/0B49exKIsGBn5RHB4VDJfSTB5OHc/edit?usp=sharing

Alas, my QT building success with macqtdeploy is somewhat lacking so you'll need to install QT as well, this one works fine:

http://download.qt-project.org/official_releases/qt/4.8/4.8.4/qt-mac-opensource-4.8.4.dmg

Also noticed that the GLDCoin team didn't include a mac .icns file so the dock icon is the generic app icon. That could be fixed I suppose if it works and you like it, let me know. Feel free to send me whatever its worth to you:

i downloaded it unzipped it but it keeps crashing upon loading

i also sent you 1000 GLD to your address
