@OP, is there any post by theymos, where he approved and acknowledged your bugs publicly or it was all through PMs ?
According to requirements of security bounties, people are not allowed to publish the security bugs publicly.
Security bugs must be reported through email to a specific address and that's probably what krishnaverma did to be eligible for the reward.

You must report the bug to the bugs email address listed on the contact page. You must not publish it elsewhere or share it with anyone else.

Earlier there was no email to report. I just messaged theymos the bugs and it went from there. I was surprised with the fast response and action.

I was paid for security relates bugs only. I was creating new account to test new features as I do not want to test with main account aa it can cause damage to main account.

If you don't mind me asking, how many bugs you reported were approved by theymos? Any high risk ones that got their attention ASAP?

That's really interesting that people still looking to find bugs in the site. I really doubt if any serious bug could still be found after so many years of successful running the site.

Possibly in light of this: https://bitcointalk.org/sbounties.php, although the reward bounties are security related, and despite explicitly mentioning that one "should not expect any payment for non-security issues", perhaps there may be some exceptional wiggle room.

Thanks for that link. Seems interesting that theymos still offers such without upgrading the forum software.

There could be some wiggle room, but the page also says something about not revealing the bug anywhere else besides to the email address provided

Revealing it or hinting at what the bug could be can also pass as publishing it elsewhere.

To get paid for it like I have got in past from theymos.

Ah, that's interesting as I wasn't aware of theymos offering bug bounties. Well, good luck in your hunting!

A curious question, why are you testing for bugs on the forum though?

I tried creating a new account (I am testing bugs on bitcointalk). It does not give a new image when I click "Request another image " option on register page.
Not a big deal since you have not created the account yet. Just clear the cache and reload the registration page. It should work.
