Can we get dedicated moderator who will moderate reputation board?

I think that it's a quite unreasonable request. If one mod starts handing that, it won't do good for his mental health on long term.
Reputation board tends to look like a snakes pit. Sometimes I tend to stay away from there myself.

Mods are human and probably sometimes check the things better and sometimes don't check them enough.
Even though in theory one mod could handle this better, there are 2 bad options: either he would handle only Reputation and sooner or later he'll get sick and tired of all the drama, either he will have to also take care of other subforums too hence splitting his attention and time.

Maybe we simply need more mods and that's all.

marlboroza, you are asking for specific dedicated moderator(s) for every sub that permit self-moderated topics (since everyone can complain about the same thing).
Can't be/is there an option that permits to "Not allow users X, Y..." from posting in a self-moderated topic? This could radically stop this problem once for all for everyone.
No, I probably didn't form topic well, I showed few examples, but please read this part:
FYI, local rules need to be included in an unedited OP to be valid
If we talk about self moderated topics, that is not true. You have bunch of PM's so instead trolling and embarrassing yourself, spend some time and read them, and while you are reading, elaborate this.

Weird how you feel the need to be able to accuse people over and over again while never allowing anyone with an opposing view to be able to chime in so you can maintain the illusion that everyone agrees with you, but I am the troll. FYI, local rules need to be included in an unedited OP to be valid.

one of the reasons why we have self-moderated topics
And when you ask user to leave your self-moderated topic, and they don't want to and they just keep replying over and over again? Well, if moderator remove post, I am pretty sure they won't come back to troll.

Off topic trolling Huh

It is not the first time I asked TECSHARE to leave self moderated topic, still, this user keeps replying and replying, I am tired of removing his posts.

Just one thing, marlboroza.  This:

TECSHARE and other trolls AKA peloso and cryptohunter and altsTM are not allowed to post here!

....might be better written if it were as specific as possible as to whom you don't want posting in your thread.  The "other trolls" part I get, but if you say something like "CH and alts" those alts can always argue that they've never been proven to be alts.

Anyway, since you can create self-moderated threads in Reptuation you've got the power to nuke posts from whoever you like--and given that there already are mods for the Reputation board (as mentioned above), I don't think anything more is needed.

This troll trolled exactly 2 minutes after I posted this, even I removed his first reply.

why you not open topic about Vod's trust abuse?
troll is your father

This is off topic reply.

This is breaking rules of self moderated thread.

This is not the first time moderator of reputation board doesn't give a fuck and wants to stay out of drama. This is another example https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.54491683, I reported post because user broke rule many times and moderator didn't do anything. I don't really care if my off topic posts gets removed, if they are off topic. They should be removed, other user's off topic posts as well. Why the hell is this board not moderated as it should be? There are more examples of topics starting about "A" and some users move it to "B", discussion continues about "B", someone report all "Bees" and all reports remain unhandled, it's not that it happened only once.

Can we get dedicated moderator who will moderate reputation board?

But you and suchmoon repost things 20x that self moderators delete from their threads?

Then when we ask you not to post again after doing that you switch to your alt zorrobeck and starting posting with that
I have threads where you two scumbags repost the deleted posts multiple times

Stop crying to mods baby. You only want rules when they suit you

If your thread is self-moderated and you are wanting to enforce certain rules as to who can post in your thread, there is really no reason to have a moderator delete offending posts for you. You can remove these posts yourself.

If you have a list of people you don't want posting in your thread, you can use a bot to automatically remove posts by anyone you don't want posting in your thread.

I think you are talking about the following topic made by Pffrt.
Minimum standard for posting in "Reputation" board
Not this but the one with some evaluation information of the reputation board over the time. I tried to find it but could not yet. I will update this topic if I find it.

Disagree, yes there are bad noises in this board lately but reputation board was/is always an important part of this forum. .

Maybe bad wordings on my side, i edited that, i obviously don't mean the board is useless and we should delete it, i am saying it has been allocated the resources it deserves and it is not worthy of getting more mods to moderate it, larger boards with more importance are moderated by a single moderator.

Also when i say reputation that should not be mistaken with "scam accusation", anyhow, that is just my opinion, and the decision will obviously be theymo's.

Few days ago a user created a topic about it, I am just too lazy to find it. Maybe someone else can find that topic and it has some good insights those were presented about this board.

Sorry I missed the big guy :-P
In my mind it was always the other twos as global moderators LOL

That will be a waste of resources given that the board of reputation adds almost no value to the forum anymore and it has become more of a place of personal attacks between 5-10 members repeating the same thing against one another for years, one of the reasons why we have self-moderated topics is the fact that the forum will never have enough resources to babysit every topic.

Technically we have one dedicated moderator and it is Cyrus.
However, we also have global moderators (Two I guess) and theymos as well. So four user have access of these reports that are going from the reputation board.

I cannot comment on the efficiency of moderators in the reputation board, but the objective of a self-moderated board would be to moderate your thread yourself, setting your own specific local rules which may not allign with the modus operandi of forum moderators, and as such it's hardly expected they'll enforce such rules.
