It seems there's absolutely zero point even trying to get this resolved. Forum mods do absolutely nothing.
Even in the gambling section there are two threads for BetKing, which is against forum rules, and I asked for one to be locked over a year ago and the mods haven't and so jolly good has a free playground to spread lies about BetKing in there. Even when I answer his questions he ignores them and posts a new thing repeating what he said in bold text lol.

I'm done with this forum now. BetKing players and investors know they can use the on site chat, email, support platform, telegram and social. There's little audience on bitcointalk and it's full of scammers, liars and con artists and not worth me wasting time on.

ive been battling dean for years now, the guy is trustworthy holding people's money but beyond that is a terrible businessman, irrational, thin-skinned, and cheap. what he did ripping off the crash game and not paying daniel the 2 btc is so scummy. i tried my best to expose him at the time he did his last ICO but unfortunately he was able to effectively steal all that bitcoin from uninformed investors.

Bye-Bye and Good Riddance to Dean Nolan and betking scam ....

This is not the first time scammer Dean Nolan has said he will leave the forum.

I hope he pays the 2 BTC he scammed from Bustabit.com before he leaves this thread forever.

He complained about Bitcointalk not being a big market and that TG was where all betking users were but they have 1 announcement channel there and nothing else, censored of course.

Dean Nolan and betking believes the users at Bitcointalk are beneath him and just not good enough for him. Pathetic scammer imbecile  Roll Eyes

he claimed he gave away 25 Bitcoin to charities in December 2017 from 1st December to 25th December at 1 BTC a day as a gesture of kindness (and of-course paying for news and press releases advertising and promoting the non-existent endeavour) but never "proved" which charities he allegedly donated to yet milked all the attention.

Should be simple for you to do a google search and post links to wherever it is I apparently paid for such press releases. Oh wait, there is none because I didn't do that.

What is easily proved though is that these charities received funds. Just search my name on reddit and there is blockchain proof of transactions and comments from the people who received.

I did report their posts.
I've reported about 80 posts of theirs. Nothing gets done ever.
I reported one yesterday, and it's gone now. Just keep reporting them (and other users too) when posts break forum policy.

That board must have more active mods than in the gambling section. Or my reports are worthless.

Both Dean Nolan and betking reports are as worthless as the trashy betking website.

Dean Nolan has been exposed so many times as a scammer but this latest scam involving Dean Nolan stealing 2 BTC from bustabit.com has brought the pathetic scammer the negative attention both Dean Nolan and betking deserve:

---------------------

---------------------

Dean Nolan has avoided paying just 2 BTC for blatantly stolen software yet he claimed he gave away 25 Bitcoin to charities in December 2017 from 1st December to 25th December at 1 BTC a day as a gesture of kindness (and of-course paying for news and press releases advertising and promoting the non-existent endeavour) but never "proved" which charities he allegedly donated to yet milked all the attention.

The whole forum is says that betking and Dean Nolan are known as scam and scammer.

This is my first time seeing user with so high negative trust rating with a good BCT rank.

I will support on you with this OP. This members should have a rightful place. You should PM some of the admin here OP so as to direct the issue to them. And we'll just have to wait and see what will happen to this two guys here.
There are a couple of users in this forum who constantly abuse gambling site owners and make the forum of less value to players.

game-protect and jolly good being the two worse offenders.

I pointed out that game-protect was a wannabe extortionist piece of scum years ago... I’m always fascinated at the length of time it takes others in the community to notice such things.

There is already one interesting thread to read about Mr. Protect. Looking at GP's trust wall, majority of references are pointing to "Disneyland", isn't this some sort of advertising spam via trust system?
I've spoke with many site owners and they all have a similar story, that game-protect has private messaged them threatening to report them to authorities unless they send him Bitcoin.
Or he threatens them with scam reports on his website if they don't send him Bitcoin.
Do you have proof of this behaviour?

Now they are going around digging up posts from years ago just to post in

Here's a thread from 2016 that has not had a post since then yet Jolly Good posts in it and game-protect is right behind him
Just report those posts, enter comment: "2 year bump", and Mods take care of it.

It can't get much more obvious that these two accounts are owned by the same people.
I highly doubt that.

They should both be banned by mods.

Are there any rules against blatant trust abuse regarding this user (Game-Protect)? It's completely obvious he just mass spams out negative trust to his adversaries like it's his day job (which it probably is TBH)
No.

I understand mods don't exactly wish to take control over a system which is supposed to be transparent, but copy/pasting the same text over & over again ought to be considered as abuse of the system nonetheless.

I have no positive/negative comments for Jolly Good. I have barely interacted with that specific user so I wouldn't be in the position to do so. I'm solely speaking on experiences with Game-Protect.
It doesn't matter that much. His feedbacks aren't trusted, so even if he lefts anyone a negative or positive feedback, it won't show up in your rating or show as default. Just ignore his feedbacks and you will be good.

[...]This would be extortion so if you provide proof of this then this probably wouldn't be tolerated.

I am pretty sure that extortion is tolerated here. I can give you an example of a person who clearly extorted someone via PM, the incident was made very public, yet they had only nominal repercussions. I am not saying I would disagree if these people were removed from the forum, however it is my understanding that hard core Libertarians believe that extortion is okay, as it creates a "free market" of people willing to pay for certain information to not be made public -- this is not logic I endorse, and I believe this logic is flawed.

Do you have proof of this behaviour? I have heard similar accusations in the past against game-protect but have seen no hard evidence. This would be extortion so if you provide proof of this then this probably wouldn't be tolerated.

I even had to make a new self moderated thread so that they couldn't post hundreds of FUD posts in it. They still do post and I have to delete daily.

They can be banned for this if they violate your local rules (as long as they were set out at the start). Hopefully on the new forum software you should be able to just ban certain users from even posting there in the first place which would make this self-modding more efficient.

AFAIK, the Bitcointalk staff does not make determinations on what is "FUD" and what are actual valid complaints. It is against the rules to engage in violent threats. However, they have to be caught in the act. It may be best if you somehow archive the next offending post.

It's at the point where even users who are just looking to keep up with news and promotions have to wade through tonnes of FUD posts by these users to find anything useful and a lot of sites have even stopped using the forum because of these trolls. Stake and Primedice have their own forum now as do some other sites.

Bitcointalk used to be the best community for Bitcoin gambling back when we first started in 2013 and through to 2016. It's a shame to see it.

I've spoke with many site owners and they all have a similar story, that game-protect has private messaged them threatening to report them to authorities unless they send him Bitcoin.

I've had Jolly Good and Game Protect post multiple times per day for 3 months or more now just spreading lies about BetKing and me here.
I don't care for the personal attacks but it isn't good when we are trying to reward loyal players or answer support questions and these people post nonsense to bury our replies.

I have reported both them multiple times per week for months. I've private messaged the mods. I even messaged Theymos. I have had 0 reply. They have clearly violated forum rules and my thread local rules.
I even had to make a new self moderated thread so that they couldn't post hundreds of FUD posts in it. They still do post and I have to delete daily.

They have both violated my local forum rules and game-protect has also posted threats of violence against me too which I'm sure must violate rules. (He edited that post 1 minute after I reported it to the mods which is weird timing)
https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.46630193

Here's what the gambling section looks like now with Jolly Goods posts, top 4 posts (one extra since i took screenshot) just spreading FUD and Lies about me and BetKing.

Do you think it's about time the gambling section got cleaned up and had these posters and the like banned?
I can see more an more sites leaving Bitcointalk as their main means of communicating with players and moving to their own forums or Telegram groups if something is not done asap.
