I don't think this worth creating a topic in the meta if you look at the bestchange thread there are people who has suggested same thing on the thread instead of making additional topics because w know it would also endup spamming. The thing is I will advise you to lock this thread instead and then comment on the bestchange signature thread sharing your idea over there then it would be very easy for them to see it than here maybe if they go through all comment they may decide to lock it or not.
You know everything here can be turn to a merit fishing scheme and that’s what is happening now also on the thread. I agree the thread should be locked too. But also you shouldn’t have created a thread about it because it seems unnecessary to me too. You could Have simply report the thread to moderators there which are like three or better still message the OP.

Bestchange is still visiting the thread and I still see him online today. There are few other threads that some people are posting to receive merit. That is a campaign thread and it should be left alone for Bestchange to decide what to do. Do not take merit too serious because people that are posting good will be the one that will rank higher on this forum. Merit system is doing what it is intended for but some people like you are taking it too serious.
I don't know if anyone has observed this, but recently the BestChange signature campaign had just ended. And everyone paid their respect by congratulating the campaign for lasting over 4 years here on the forum. Yes alot of us will miss their campaign, but it has ended and we should let go and hope they bring a new campaign from their management. I guess it's time to lock their signature thread. I was reading through the thread recently, and a lot of people have now turned it into a merit fishing thread, where they write some good words or something nice(shit post)just to receive a merit award from the op @ BestChange. I'm not saying it's wrong though, but the thread should be locked now to avoid merit hunters turning the thread into something else.
