Good pointers from responses above. Those who've spent enough time on this forum already know cloud mining, in whichever form, just is a waste of time and money. You're far more likely to lose than to profit.

Do your own digging and you'll find that the lack of transparency is the biggest flaw in calculating profits. You don't know if the hashpower truly exists, you don't know if blocks were actually found by them. Even companies who tried to do differently (selling or renting based on electricity instead of hashpower) lost big (look up Giga Watts).

My suggestion in addition to above (mine yourself) is buy Bitcoin and hold. If you REALLY want to see how cloud mining works, try eobot's service (the free one). You'll probably never make money anyway from their cloudmining faucet, but at least you'll see for yourself how difficulty adjustments and maintenance costs can all and do, add up.

So anyway, I applied as a merit source :)
Do not believe in any cloud mining provider due to the number of positive reviews. They are paid and often inaccurate, biased and opinionated. You should not form conclusion about any service from reviews. In fact this is true for all sorts of products. Paid reviews are seen in almost every service today.

As far as cloud mining is concerned, most of them dont do any mining and are actually running a pyramid scheme making them a HYIP/MLM which will crash at some point and then the site will say "we are having maintenance"/ "we got hacked" and then one day that domain gets sold off and not a trace in the internet is left except crying investors who put their money in those sites and complained in forums like this one.

Where you should or should not put your money in is not my concern but this is what I have seen being with the crypto space for some time. Legit Cloud mining is done by very few companies.

For a good idea about scam cloud mining sites you can visit : http://www.badbitcoin.org/ The sites you listed are not yet listed in the badlist there but its updated everyday and you might want to keep a look. You will find older scam sites there as well. So its a good tool for reference and research.

Alright. About "cloud mining" services. If you're planning on renting out cloud mining services, it's going to be either:
  • A scam
  • Not profitable/a huge waste of money

It's just mostly one of the two. If you want to do mining with profitability in mind, then you either buy ASICs, or buy GPUs for you to be able to mine certain altcoins.

Best of luck.

Hi there guys, i wasnt sure where this was suppose to belong however I was wondering if anyone out there would be able to share an experience on these following cloud mining sites...

Now i am well aware of the reputation of cloud mining and what not however, I have searched high and low and all I have managed to find for both of these places are ... well, what appears to be "positive" reviews.... However I am not entirely convinced and I have even attempted to purchase plans with both of the sites and they both DO provide daily payouts,

My question is how can I tell if this is a legitimate venture or if its just a pyramid scheme waiting to fall in on it self...

If anyone could either help me verify the operations of these two companies then I'd be very greatful!

Thanks in advance...
