FireBlazzer: please understand all GPU's are different. Your graphics card might be good for rendering games, however this might not apply to cryptographic functions such as those carried out by Bitcoin.

By the looks of it, your graphics card isn't supported. https://en.bitcoin.it/wiki/Mining_hardware_comparison

I would suggest doing a little more research surrounding your card however as there may be other options available.

you downloaded a virus.  Expect the feds at your place soon because your ip address is linked to recent DDoS attacks on .gov sites.

Try using CGMiner instead if you're trying to mine on that card.

thanks for the tip.... though my card is better then many give it credit for.. it runs games like bf3 at smooth rates... at low settings...... im hoping that my strong system will help the card for digging like it does for video gaming... as it used shared resoruces.

hi.. i have spent many hours trying to figure this out.. finanly decided to register to ask for help.

i cant get guiminer to run.

after extracting.. and making sure i have downloded the open cl... it still wont show me the interface or show up in procceses.

this is what i see.

1. click on guiMiner exe.

2. watch the icon for guiminer display in my right hand corner on my task bar controle pannel.... for a few seconds.. then it goes away.. if i try to lick it.. it dissapers as soon as i do.

*this does not seem to be the invisble problem i see people mention.... dispite seeing the guiminer icon briefly on my task bar.... it dose not show up in procceses.... nor is the program running at all from what i can tell.

from what i can tell... after clicking the exe.... the program trys to launch... and closes its self... all i ever see is a short lived icon in my dipslay pannel by the volum controle.

...

i have windows 7.... 64 bit.. amd hd 4200

i tried using most combinations of compatility and admin privliges/.... to no avail.

i tried deleating and reintalling (redownlaoding and extracting)

i tried an older version..

restarted by pc.

made sure i had the recomended drivers.

please help... i suck at command lines... and i cant get this program to so much as give me an error messege.
