If you edit the post after the deadline you can act on information that others can't act on. It doesn't matter if you win. Some cheaters don't win but that doesn't make it not a cheat.

I admit editing the post after the deadline is not a good way around, but it definitely doesn't mean I was willing to manipulate the game, I just participated to show interest.

So did HH allow you to edit the post after the deadline? It's funny how you dance around the key issue.

Yes, he said me to do so as the price was over lapping with another participant. You can makeup many ways of looking at the situation, but the only truth is none of me or HH had any shady intention behind it. One can make whatever theory's he wants over this like OP.

If some of the participant from the spiculation game thread think it was unfair, I would happily back out of the game and still support it fully.

An easy way to solve this conundrum would be to preemptively refuse any prize winnings before the fact. Then at that point all any accusations are, are just some weak potential accusation with no harm done. This is an easy way to stamp out any doubt and controversy and turn this into a non-issue.

I was heartbroken and wept like a little girl for weeks. To be honest, it wasn't until recent days that I finally started feeling a little bit better and found happiness in the small things in my life again.
LOL.  Who are you and where have you been?  Humor is desperately needed around these parts.

Love you too, mate. Finally some recognition. You have no idea how many times my so-called desperately needed humor got me kicked out or banned from Telegram channels, forums and Twitter accounts. Sarcasm is soooo 20th-century (so it seems).

Retaliations are quite strong here (see Trust for example), no need to add more by knowing who is reporting your posts.
Seriously, can you imagine if that were the case?  This forum would be like a war zone, more so than it already is.

I haven't fully read this thread, but I gather there's a lot more going on than just some deleted posts.  It's not my drama, so I'm just skimming things, being lazy--but posts are going to get deleted from even the best members occasionally, and I think the mods do a damn good job handling reports.  They don't just delete posts simply because there was a report about them.  If that were the case, I wouldn't have sixty-something bad reports to my credit.  I've had plenty of posts deleted over the years, and some of them made me scratch my head--but that's life.

I agree with you because your prediction does not exist in contestants list.
Generally I don't think there is a big issue. I checked all the posts in that thread. There was another user predicted same as you. So, it was reasonable to be asked to change the prediction.
I think the only problem is that Heisenberg_Hunter had locked the thread a bit late and you edited that post after the deadline. As I said there isn't any big issue as you doesn't exist in contestants list.
It could be better if Heisenberg_Hunter had made a rule regarding same predictions. In this case, there wasn't any need to ask you to change the prediction.

So the OP claim that Heisenberg_Hunter is reporting his posts is only based on his self judgement with no authentic proof ?
It would seem so.
S/he probably has some personal grudges with H.H and is trying to stir up some stupid drama in Meta. These are the kind of things that are toxic to the community in the long run.

I got notified about the overlapping of my prediction price with someone else, by Heisenberg_Hunter on telegram. Nothing else trigged me to do so.

So did HH allow you to edit the post after the deadline? It's funny how you dance around the key issue.

Heisenberg informed about the price overlap openly to hacker1001101001 in the telegram group, where almost all the reputed Indian forum members are present. Nobody raised a concern regarding that in the telegram group. I am sure that most of the participants are aware of the case. So I don't see a problem here unless one of the participants raises a concern regarding this, not by some troll.

Feel free to check the reputation thread on Rotten Egg
Edit: I just saw that you have already checked the thread. Maybe it will be helpful for the others.

I participated in the contest only to show interest in Indian board betterment, and never even thought of the winning price for a blink. I don't even see how one can know the price of BTC on November 22 beforehand and after knowing it, he edits the post to earn 0.002211 BTC. Just was guessing in what why one can cheat before knowing the correct price.

hacker1001101001 is not in the list of participants in the OP. It's not quite clear what exactly you're complaining about, other that your obvious beef with Heisenberg_Hunter.

He is just forming up ways to accuse member with his sperm sized head without any base.

Editing the post after the deadline seems like an attempt to violate contest rules so if you want to accuse hacker1001101001 of cheating you'd have a strong case.

I don't see how you see it as a strong case and even how you exclude users in your trust list. Huh

BTW users can get e-mail notifications when a thread they're watching is unlocked so there doesn't need to be collusion for someone to sneak-in an edit when the OP temporarily unlocks it.

No, he changed the price as well. Current version reads:

Quote
My prediction : 1 BTC = 10110 $

BTC address: 1JAYESHqohMYvXS4Do6ZNEYJiwZ588MVKi

Best luck to all.

You know mate, a long time ago I had several of my posts removed because I replied ridiculously to ridiculous threads. For instance, when some dude opened a thread asking "will btc go up sir?" i replied "yes". It was irony, yet it got deleted. I was heartbroken and wept like a little girl for weeks. To be honest, it wasn't until recent days that I finally started feeling a little bit better and found happiness in the small things in my life again.

However, I really did not feel the need to open a thread in the Meta section for this.

I really wonder why you have to be so bitter this way. There is no need to address every matter as though people here are your enemies, against you, corrupt etc. You could always discuss such things via PMs and come to a common understanding without having to make uncalled and unproven accusations here  Wink

Good thing you know that your post was off topic so again, i still don't know why you had to open a topic warning mods to be a little careful before deleting your posts

Did you know the forum shows when a post has been edited (other than the first 10 minutes after posting)?
It's not a secret, and if needed I have most unedited posts made in the past months available for download.
I know. Feel free to check this post to cross-verify my allegation - https://bitcointalksearch.org/topic/m.53036440. It was posted on November 10, 2019, 09:43:25 AM and was edited on November 11, 2019, 01:03:22 PM.
So you know very well that the post editing time is displayed. So, what was the need to create that post while everyone knows when that post was edited?
The OP had already asked you to only post the predicted address and your bitcoin address.

Your posts was probably off-topic, and Mods only care about the forum rules. They're not going to check this topic top see if you like it before deleting your post.
I have already explained in OP, why I think that it was not an off-topic spam. Of course, Mods are the final decision maker in this regard. But, as they have to handle LOTs of report, I thought, this needs to be brought to their notice.

Since I disclosed Heisenberg_Hunter's plan to slip to DefaultTrust, become a merit source and moderator of India sub-forum he is fanatically reporting my posts. Some of his alts friends may have join the process as well. So, I am hereby requesting Mods to please read my post before deleting. Below is an example of wrong deletion, where I outed Heisenberg_Hunter to unlock his speculation game thread to allow his friend to edit their post.

Rules :

1. The timer would start by today immediately after posting this topic and would end exactly on November 10 2019 23:59 IST. So please post your guesses within this time frame and later on November 10 I would lock this topic. Further PMs will not be entertained.

WoW! Locked thread has been unlocked to allow FRNDZ to update their post. Such a shit show of circle jerking. Nepotism and hypocrisy at its best.

The following post just got edited...

My prediction : 1 BTC = 9500 $

BTC address: 1JAYESHqohMYvXS4Do6ZNEYJiwZ588MVKi

Best luck to all.

Good going HH. I am sure, you'll find some excuse to cover up this as well. Cheesy

Though, apparently off-topic, i.e. not related to the game, the post was needed to be there for everyone to know what is going on. Please note that, I DO NOT earn from posting through signature campaign and hence have ZERO intensive to spam apart from keeping India forum SCAM FREE.
