Intelligent people don't even own a mobile phone.

And intelligent people don't make statements like that.
This has nothing to do with intelligence.

What doesn't?

One thing that annoys me about people is when you don't answer their call or reply to their text straight away and they think you're ignoring them and go in a huff.

Exactly what happens to me lol Tongue

And then they usually call you 'ignorant'  Roll Eyes lol. Idiots.

I leave mine on constantly and never even turn it off at all, but it's pretty much always on vibrate so it wont wake me if somebody calls. I like to keep it on because it takes me a while to get to sleep and I'm always writing stuff down on the notepad feature, or sometimes I like to quickly check stuff online. I don't have a problem with it and it doesn't impact me negatively.

This is less of a problem with the phones and more of a problem with wankers who just don't respect your privacy and expect your life to revolve around them, you get this crap all the time from everybody, even with my knock off Blackberry which only does text and calls I still have to deal with people being prats because I didn't notice the phone buzzing since I was actually doing stuff in real life that was more important than their 'emergency'.

All these smartphones look fairly interesting but phones in general are still annoying as fuck, I think the only reason to get one for me would be so I could go on the internet or play some games while I'm waiting for something to happen and have nothing better to do.

That's why I leave mine in the kitchen and have the Do Not Disturb function on between 11pm and 7am (usual sleep time). I've told the more important people (family, friends, NOT work) that they need to call twice within 5 minutes to really reach me during the night if there's an emergency.

Besides, even if I have a smartphone, I absolutely hate using it to go online and whatnot.
